You can't lose with players at that table.
hes awful 🤣🤣🤣
Seminole Hard Rock in Tampa has "Ultimate Texas Hold 'Em" where the buy-in for $1/$3 is $1000 and there's a $10 bomb pot every orbit.
Sounds fun, floridas on my to visit list!
Another losing poker player, give up while you can.
@@hustlemoneychannel i think I’ll take your advice
You put in more than 2/3rds of your stack to see a flop and evaluate??? 😂😂😂 live poker ftw
😀
That game at the fort just plays to big for you. Need more money on the table and need to be making bigger bet sizes.
Hey bro come to the fort on Fri nights. They always have 1/2 games going. That's when I play. Good luck on your next session
Thanks man much appreciated! Prob won’t be there for a bit but sounds good!
Love the content
Thank you!
Okay, so you're mentioning something that I'm constantly arguing with myself over. "Not running good lately" is purely magical thinking. We know better, but we allow the perception of luck instead of the reality of variance to color our perceptions. Same with the $300 bullets, we both know that those 1/3's are DFW's version of a super action 2/5 game any where else in the country, especially at Shuffle. I love my $300 bullets, it's easy bankroll mgmt. But, I feel like it's time we face the changes of poker in our area and start sizing up.
Idk man there’s been a lot of super coolers the wrong way lately. 🤷♂️ hoping it turns around soon
I actually love the fort. Anytime I go play cash at the rooms at the D/FW area, I don’t seem to do nearly as well as I do up at Winstar or Choctaw. I mostly play tournaments at the card rooms.
@@DesperadoTheTexasScratcherI relate, hopefully it evens out for you!
For the most part it does. I cash out quite a bit.
That Ace jack hand you played so bad. I’m new to the channel are you new to poker?

@@edward6902 thank you so much!
If you can’t afford to top off your stack to 100 BBs you are playing too big for your bank roll.
@@SportsBoxBreakers been running bad lately, trying to limit damage during tough sessions
I live in small Texas Town. Within 150 min drive are over a dozen poker rooms. Mainly San Antonio, Austin and Houston. For $1-$2 games, I usually take 2 buy ins of $300, or $600 total. Most $1-$3 games are max buy in of $1500, up to uncapped. Occasionally in Houston, players buy in for $5000, usually waiting and opening in PLO games. To these games, smallest buy in I take is 2 buy ins of $600. Largest I will take is 2 buy ins of $1000. Must manage your bankroll, but buying in too small is a huge handicap as well
Fair, was hoping to switch to $1/2 asap. Also not comfortable putting $1k on the table tbh
If your gonna call $26 with 9/6, you should have called off the 5/6 hand where you already had >$100 of your own money in the pot
@@rickcole6493 idk likely drawing live on the 9/6 pre and the other hand he prolly has a 10 imo
@ he may have a 10, but you have some much in and nothing (relatively) remaining
It isn’t just run bad at the 1-3 game you are really handicapping yourself with only 300$ but in. If people are sitting there with 1500-3000k stacks you will pretty much need to double up twice in order to play against them. With your stack size you make it extremely easy to play against you.
@@marcuslarwa9098 ya I was hoping to switch to $1/2 asap but that didn’t materialize
I swear the average 1/3 game in Texas just feels like a 2/5 even a 5/10 sometimes everywhere else the 1/2 is where the real poker is at
Im just starting playing Poker. Love watching u and trying to learn

FYI there's a lot of echo in your voiceover. No idea of how to fix it, but I thought I'd let you know. Good content though.
Noted, I’ll try to fix it thanks!
The V shove with 89 is pretty bad. Any over pair is way ahead. You have way more combos of over pairs than flush draws.

Love the videos man. I spent the weekend in Dallas playing at both TCH locations, but didn't get a chance to make it out to Shuffle 214. Which do you like better, and why? Might have to check it out next time!
@@believenerd much appreciated thank you! The majority of north Texas players prefer tch. From a room standpoint the tch’s are much nicer and have tons of games at every hour of the day. Shuffles in a rougher area but the games are soft and there’s time deals. I run a lot better at Shuffle which is why I play there mostly.
Did you really just say you listen to Mariano? Biiiiiiig mistake.
@@jordanmason8296 I did 🙈
Nah your A and Q were still live with the 66 on the board. Odds were basically the same other than the 8♤ as a flush out. You make a pair on river it gives you As and 6s or Qs and 6s. Hit Any spade other than the 8 and you're good too.
You right good point
Love to see it
🫡
Stop thimking 1/2 players are playing gto
Fair good point
Why wouldn’t you jam a 6 there? There’s tons of shit to get value from. Overpairs, draws, etc. it’s only a 120% overbet jam it’s not a lot. Draws stop putting money in if it bricks at a lower spr unless their range can reasonably rep a 6 which in terms of anything but check shove on the turn isn’t gonna really be a very good story. Draws at that spr with no implied odds mathematically isn’t correct. If you’re beating bluffs then it’s fine. You balance your value shoves on the turn with combo draws and other bluffs. What’s wrong with this?
It’s a bomb pot so they could have anything, the guy on my left covered me. Very likely one had a 6, just happened this time they both had 3s
@ I was talking about the heads up hand where you said you didn’t think jamming a 6 makes sense but he had 89
@@mag3481ah I gotcha. Imo a jam can let some hands off the hook on a scary board like tens or jacks. Bad board for any over pair
@@chpokervlog yeah that’s fine if your value hands aren’t getting paid off enough to a shove there due to over folding because your bluffs print money in that spot.
Am I wrong or not seeing things right, but every time I check on the Atlas app it seems like only one table is going. How many tables do you usually see running when you play there ?
Usually 1-3 weekdays, 3-4 weekends and night
easy check on turn
Agreed
It is totally true you flop sets more with certain pocket pairs than others... Mine being QQs followed closely by 10s like yourself :-). With least being pocket 88s & KKs :-///
Hell ya :)
A block bet is a value bet. It’s just a thin value bet that’s it. Dude played that terrible, shouldve bombed that river as played
True, felt weird
Folding the trip 6s on the bomb bot is fine. Suggest you consider sizing up on your cbets on the multiway flops. I know you want hands to continue, but if they're coming for 12, they're coming for 20. Really maximizes your win rate.
@anthonyf596 sizing up multi way is very very bad. The more the players, the less you need to bet to scare people off
2k subs!! LFG! Proud of you bro
@@bittah9327 Ty much appreciated!! 🫡
You said you sized up with your set of 10s on the turn and then bet half pot. You can easily go like $125 there. Half pot is a crazy small bet
@@Metskins_Poker fair good point!
💪
💪
That trips fold is terrible
@@evanace5716 kicker problems
@ doesn’t matter your hand is too strong to call. If you’re gonna fold for monsters, fold flop. There are flush draws that are still calling and plenty 3x
I played last night in a 1-3 nl match stack game. I bought in for 300$ and played from 4pm to 2am and it was a roller coaster. I ran it up to 1500$ but lost a big one on the river which ate all my profit. I was happy to walk out even all things considered.
@@burqueninja5056sounds like a wild night
good video. very limited extra talk.
@@isaacfox9326 you got it boss 👍
Sorry, not a fan of Shuffle. I prefer TCH Social or TCH Dallas. There's a new one now called the Copa. Haven't been there yet. There's another new one opening in Grand Prairie on 30 near the horse track, around April.
If you’re curious about what Copa is like I made a vlog there a few vlogs back!
I play in Austin and prefer TCH social over any of the other rooms.
@ I’ll he playing at tch Austin and the lodge later in the year hopefully, on the to do list for sure
I'm a main tch dealer and player in dallas and the action at shuffle is 2nd to none anywhere in the world
@@Moye-iw6ub I wish TCH Austin stayed in it's original location. I don't like big bright new room. Or the new $500 max buy in for 1/2.
