This July I was able to apprentice at Cosanti originals as a Bronze Bell Artisan. Opportunities like this don't come around very often and it was an absolute pleasure learning all the different processes that go into bronze bell artisanship. A huge thank you to my mentor Larry who helped me to sharpen my skills, as well as all of the other extremely skilled master artisans who work at Cosanti.

How much do they cost?
If you use Mg cement, then add subsoil for non aggregate concrete, saving transport costs.

What kind of sand (earth) did you all use?
We used the earth that was excavated from where the building was dug into. We mixed the local earth with small amounts of sand and clay occasionally on the shredding table making it into a fine powder.
