Have you looked at Chrimson Desert? It looks amazing. I seriously want to get my hands on it. I feel like it could be game of the year easily.
When there was a trailer for it a couple years back it looked interesting but I’m not 100% confident in it. It looks good but for a developer I’m not familiar with I don’t know how well they deliver their games. It looks hard to get right and easy to mess up
@@Fullmoonwerewolf Cant argue that. But if you look at the 50 minute gameplay they have shown recently chances are they're gonna actually pull this off. And if they do pull it off then its gonna be great. If you havent watched the gameplay you really should. I highly recommend it.

You could make the same argument for angry birds I suppose. But a lot that goes into the GOTY award is how good the game actually is and I feel like there are a lot better games that came out that year than plants vs zombies

Volarant is a "horror" game
people will hate me but, RDR 2 deserved the GOTY
I’ll talk about this briefly in part 2 tmrw. But even though I love red dead it stretched itself really thin in some areas. Red dead is super long so there are going to be some areas of the game that aren’t as good as others, whereas god of war does less but perfects it
Biggest robbery was Witcher winning over bloodborne I’ve played both and can safely say bloodborne blows it out the water
I love both, but Witcher is a little better for me
I think Overwatch gets downplayed heavily due to its notorious reputation to say the least. But back in 2016 it was a blast. It was a great game, and one of the best shooters to ever release.
Even though I'm not a huge fan of it, I've come around to appreciating it's impact on gaming

calling games an Overwatch Clone and not a Team Fortress 2 clone is insane.
Games are an overwatch clone. Overwatch popularized hero shooters. Just because tf2 came first doesn't mean a lot of people know what it is. I started with tf2, I love tf2, but even I'm not dumb enough to think it made hero shooters what they are today. Battleborn, paladins, and concord are literally all games that look and feel exactly like overwatch. Besides, tf2 doesn't really have "abilities" like all these other hero shooters. It has classes with equipment but not the layout every other hero shooter uses now a days where you have classes with unique equipment and abilities.
Nailed it. Atmosphere is key. It needs to be built up skillfully. Many games and also reviewers are missing this. Games that caught me: Child of Light, Gorky 17 aka Odium, Detroit: Become Human, FTL

I think it would've been better, if the story was more like the side storylines, Sebastain etc. Like we do shit with our classmates, not going to genocide the goblins. But I did enjoy playing the game.

The game was extremely boring and monotone, I was beyond hyped for it and, like many, wanted to convince myself it was good because a HP RPG is something we've wanted since forever. I was already over the game upon finishing the main story, I never bothered to finish most side quests and looking back at it now it would feel like a chore re-playing this game. I wouldn't say it was bad, but it was just so painfully mid and underwhelming in every way

The requirements for a character be in smash that there game needs to be on the Nintendo system
Final fantasy 7 remake isn’t on the switch and cloud and sephiroth are in the game
@@Fullmoonwerewolf remake isn't there, but the original can be played on it. However, both are featured in Kingdom Hearts which has had several of its games on Nintendo

So you can find a way to make it work through connections. But the bottom line is that Nintendo has never made any statements about the requirements of characters that they put in their games. Before the dlc packs I’m sure nobody ever thought Steve could get put in smash. I think that really proves that literally anyone could get put in. Also, its just fun to think about your favorite video game characters being in smash

@ifitscool I have a gta 5 review up and at the end I say that online is a lot of fun with friends. But I pretty much h reviewed the story which I thought was a bit disappointing

I wasn’t the worst game ever I had fun with it. But I’m allowed to express my opinion if I don’t think it’s flawless
Botw was revolutionary because it let you explore an entire map in ways never seen before in an open world (climbing, paragliding). The story was out of the way but still overall good and coherent, and was structured this way so we never were limited in our exploration. Still, after a few hundred hours on botw, i was done with this game, but i trusted that they would make it so reexploring the world would be interesting in totk. But i was disappointed. I expected the sequel to build upon the lore we already had and refine the exploration formula. In the end, totk is a sequel only in name. It is clear that they wanted to refine the physics engine and everything else was an afterthought. It feels like the world was reused more as a way to cut cost/time and less like they wanted a true sequel. The story, while flashier, is worse than botw's imo. It destroyed a lot of what botw established, didnt even exploit the new elements they introduced, and was structured in a way that shows they just didnt understand why it worked in botw. They heard "we want a more involved story" and went "lets do exactly like botw but flashier and linear" which destroys botw's greatest strength that was freedom. Honestly, it feels like totk was made for the people who post on twitter all the glitches they found in botw. Which is fine, people are valid in how they play! But as a zelda fan who discovered and fell in love with the series through the wind waker, it just feels bad to just... not really be the target audience anymore :') I know the next zelda will probably suck me back in, if only for the element of surprise, but yeah. Idk how i feel that they want that physics engine to be the heart of the game
I am still disappointed in gta6. Gameplay and environment are good, but the story was bad. In 5 there was so much story . 6 just feels like a driving Sim, but you're not racing and the physics aren't as realistic. I still have fun in the game but everything about 5 was way better except graphics, customization, and driving camera angle. I would have preferred a gtaV remake.

Gta 5 may have been lighthearted and arcadey compared to 4 but it would be best if rockstar doesn’t aim to make a boring and depressing tone similar to 4 and rdr2 for gta 6, because gta is supposed to be a satirical parody of real life, not a life simulator that makes it feel more like work than play.
I’m fine with it being lighthearted and arcadey. And not as serious . (Although I would be a bit disappointed). I just want them to commit to something. The problem with this game was not that it had that stuff in it. The problem was that it was there 30% of the time, and the other 70% was a story they tried to tell but didn’t do it very well. I would’ve rather had the whole thing be crazy fun but there are so many missions that are just boring and don’t do anything to progress the story
