@@temmietaft2552 Thanks for watching hope they were helpful. 😊
As someone who is allergic to nuts, please consider finding snacks that don't contain nuts. You never know who is sitting around you who could be allergic.
The last few flights we’ve been on, they’ve said someone has a peanut allergy. I always pack snacks that are free of the most popular allergies. As a mother of a daughter that got type one diabetes at 6, I appreciated when other moms took that into account when bringing class snacks. We need to help each other out.
@@lynnconroy8 You are so right. I've heard people complain when the flight attendants give the warning. I'm like, fine then you can stab me with my epi pen when I need it.
Im not much of a snacker, so a ziplock bag with some chocolate chips and marshmallows works for me. Also, those collapsible water bottles spill all over when you try to drink out of them. They make a huge mess. You dont want to be soaking wet on a plane. Great pillowcase idea!!
@@SimplyKatieWalks Thanks for the tips! I am a Chocolate lover myself 😊
Clear is a scam, get global entry, it comes with preheck and is cheaper.

There are regional airports that do not have tsa precheck. There is a single line that everyone uses. Flights are on smaller aircraft of 20 passengers or less. They will fly you to a "mega airport" and you change planes. Just another option to avoid huge lines at the larger airports.
Yes, smaller airports you do get stuck in the "regular" line however they will give you a card that allows you to not go through the regular screening (keep shoes on etc). Doesn't save you time going through the line but does save you hassle. :) Thanks for your comment!
Global Entry takes your $100, and if declined, they keep that money and never give a reason.
We have pre check through our hazmat endorsements on our CDL licenses. We had clear and I had no idea I could get a veterans discount. Thank you!

Thank you!
Just to note, not all airport do TSA Pre-Check the same. I have Global Entry which has TSA Pre-Check and have been at some airport in the Pre-Check line that still want you to take your liquid bag out, some laptop/tablets out. Make sure you read the signage otherwise you may be “that person” holding up the line. 😢
@@roxanneonthemove4187 Interesting, I’ve never had that happen, I’m guessing it’s at smaller airports? Thanks for sharing.
Good video, especially the info on what to keep out of your storage unit. However, I would appreciate more info how you navigate what I consider the 2 trickiest aspects of being a nomad: finding accommodations and handling critical practicalities like banking and insurance. Finding a safe, affordable place to lay your head at night can be hard with most Airbnbs being as expensive as 3-star hotels (though I suppose it depends where you are). And banks and insurance providers will NOT accept PO boxes or mail service addresses; they require a "real" address. I ended up using my brother's home address (with his permission).
@@UppityRib Thanks for watching! I agree it’s challenging finding affordable accommodations-definitely one month stays at a time to get reduced rates but I do find some hotels more affordable than airbnbs at times. I also use my brothers physical address (with his permission) for my banking address which can be frustrating. I plan on doing more in depth videos on the challenges. Safe travels!
So brave so free I love it❤
I prefer to check my bag and only have a personal item on the plane. Easy peasy traveling. Frequently you end up checking your carry on bag anyway.
@@lynnstewart8313 Everyone travels a bit differently - you should always do what you’re most comfortable with! I rarely have to check my carry on and if I do it’s a gate check on a small plane so it’s waiting for me on the jetway after we land. I love not having to wait at baggage claim for my bags but that’s my travel style. Thanks for the comment and Safe travels! 😊
please leave Arizona yall people are the reason i cant afford my groceries and utilities

Absolutely, consistency and great content are crucial. Additionally, optimizing video titles, descriptions, and tags can make a big difference. Engaging thumbnails and leveraging social media to promote your videos also help. Happy to discuss more tips if you're interested!

Thanks for sharing-love getting new tips from fellow travelers.
Forget the pepper spray…it’s illegal in most countries. Take a travel size hairspray instead. Getting that in a criminal’s eyes can stop them for a bit. I also have a small whistle on a lanyard on me. I also have a small personal alarm that is also a flashlight.
Good tips! Thanks for sharing. I have a personal alarm as well and I've done another video on safety gadgets that goes in depth. Here is the link if interested. ruclips.net/video/Bhyd97HzDA8/видео.html
I think we cannot go through airport secirity with pepper spray (Canada). 😬
Yes you do need to be mindful of local laws. In the US it needs to be in checked baggage and there are still restrictions-I did another video specifically on safety gadgets that goes into more detail. Its this one if your interested. ruclips.net/video/Bhyd97HzDA8/видео.html

@@LaurieLore Of course. What advice do you have for those of us who take prescription meds? I’m on the generics for tegretol and geodon for bipolar and the generic for zocor for high cholesterol. I’m painfully aware that my meds are not legal everywhere in the world.
@@abkeener81 I know a lot of people need to be aware of where location-wise they can take their prescription meds. Fortunately at this point, I'm not prescribed any so it's not an issue I've faced so I'm sorry I don't have advice to give on the subject. Except for encouragement!-there are likely many amazing spots in your home Country to explore, travel doesnt have to be exotic. Wish you the best!
Do not bring pepper spray into the U.K. it is classed as a firearm and you will be arrested.
I travel a lot and usually I travel solo, but the only things from that list I ever use is lip balm and Sandals. I'd say that the most important thing as a female solo traveler is to adjust the wardrobe in a way that one will blend in with the locals and not in a way that will scream tourist half a mile away.
Very good point! Thanks for sharing 🙏😊
You may want to add some info on the newer Digital ID programs being implemented by some airlines and at some airports. With it, it's like winning the bigger lottery! In the 2 times I've had Digital ID through Delta, and going through both LGA and JFK this year, there was absolutely no one ahead of me in the Digital ID line.
Sounds like a game changer-I’m going to check it out! Thanks for sharing. 🙏😊
Pepper spray may not be legal everywhere.
Yes this is true-you should always check local laws when carrying pepper spray.
