Modern Nose Clinic
США
Добавлен 17 май 2017
This clinic was opened September 2017. The premise for being is that medicine is broken on multiple levels. The belief of our organization is that traditional clinics are unable to undergo the changes necessary to address many of these fundamental problems in medicine. One major issue is cost, another major issue is accountability, also there is unacceptable inefficiency. One piece of this Modern Nose Clinic Involves communicating and connecting with patients. This RUclips channel is our effort to provide additional information beyond the clinic appointment for patients or prospective patients to learn more about treatments available to them.

Modern Nose Clinic can Help with Your Salem Sinus Issues!
It seems unreal 😂
I currently have a giant polyp in my right nostril, and I'm scheduled to have it surgically removed next month. I'm so ready to able to breathe through my nose again! 😭😭😭
I’m so worries it’s only been one full day and my stitches are already falling out
I’m in the Uk two days post op the Blocked nose and not being able to swallow is a nightmare
i did my nasal polyps surgery just yesterday and i was instructed to use Physiomer solution but i also must not blow out my nose... so annoying 😢 i have to breathe through my mouth
Stern was a good guy!
ENS is rare. Doctor should do some research to find the best way in cure...if not don't any surgery. It's so depressing to be an ENS patient😞, some of them commit suicide😵.
I wish I could show you a photo of my CT scan, the damage they've done to me
I have one and now I’m scared to have surgery seeing that chicken breast sized thing come out. I can’t even breath thru nose at all
Sure that wasn’t half of the Brains 🧠
You described LPR perfectly, but you lost me at recommending PPI's. :(
I always ask and never get a reply. Why can't the ENT perform reduction of only one side of the nose at a time? This way one side is left alone and if something did happen in theory you could compensate with a bad side with the other side still having nerves and sensory intact? Would this not be the new normal of treatment to ensure no ENS? This way post surgery with luck the one side is fixed and the other never touched so a better outcome? This should offer relief and safety, any ENT care to reply to this idea?
Hello, does a humidifier help after a nasal polypectomy? I am doing a nasal rinse regularly and my drops am and pm.
Looks like raw meat.
It is pretty obvious to me what causes ENS. Empty nose syndrome (ENS) is a medical condition that is caused when too much inner nasal mucus-producing tissue (the turbinates) are cut out of the nose, leaving the nasal cavities too empty, too wide and too dry, with severely diminished capabilities to perform their functions of conducting, filtering and humidifying the inhaled air to the lungs and with severely impaired capabilities to preserve themselves and regenerate. So why dont surgeons take responsibility for reducing their patients turbinates too much. And negatively impacting their patients lives. And why isnt turbinate reconstruction covered under ohip. It definitely should be. Since its a functional surgery.
Pls I need help, constant mucus in my throat since after Covid, i have done everything including EGD and still no answer. I am really depressed and is affecting my life. Please I need help
Guys please can anyone tell me if its possible to have ENS from using nasal drops. I guess they damaged the mucosa and thats what giving ens symptoms. I hope so much its reversible because i never had any surgery
I highly doubt it, ENS is a result of surgery not drops. You probably have very swollen turbinates from abuse of drops and it will take 6 mos to heal. I recommend you see a Dr. who can help you recover from this, they can offer help to lesson the swelling and return the nose to semi normal but it takes time. Stay away from Afrin.
Yes, prolonged or excessive use of nasal sprays or drops can potentially lead to Empty Nose Syndrome (ENS). ENS is a rare condition characterized by a persistent sensation of nasal emptiness or spaciousness, often accompanied by other symptoms like nasal dryness, crusting, and difficulty breathing through the nose. # Risk Factors 1. *Overuse of nasal decongestants*: Using nasal sprays or drops containing decongestants like oxymetazoline or phenylephrine for more than 5-7 days can lead to rebound congestion, potentially contributing to ENS. 2. *Prolonged use*: Long-term use of nasal sprays or drops, especially those containing steroids, can cause mucosal atrophy, leading to ENS. 3. *Nasal mucosa damage*: Trauma, surgery, or chemical irritation can damage nasal mucosa, increasing the risk of ENS. # Symptoms of Empty Nose Syndrome 1. Persistent sensation of nasal emptiness or spaciousness 2. Nasal dryness and crusting 3. Difficulty breathing through the nose 4. Loss of olfactory function (smell) 5. Nasal discomfort or pain 6. Fatigue, headaches, and facial pressure # Prevention and Treatment 1. *Use nasal sprays and drops judiciously*: Limit usage to recommended durations and follow instructions carefully. 2. *Rinse nasal passages regularly*: Saline irrigation can help maintain nasal mucosa health. 3. *Consult a doctor*: If symptoms persist or worsen, seek medical attention. 4. *Nasal humidification*: Use a humidifier to maintain nasal moisture. 5. *Surgical options*: In some cases, surgical interventions may be necessary to repair damaged nasal mucosa. If you're experiencing symptoms of ENS or have concerns about nasal spray/drop usage, consult a healthcare professional or an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialist for personalized guidance.
@@SubSonicDistortion no my turbinates are not swollen at all. Quite opposite, they seem sort of small of CT. Hope they can grow back
I need this Soo bad I haven’t been able to smell for 4 years and it’s flaring up extremely bad these past2 weeks
Where is the clinic
HOLY COW!!!!!!
Where is this doctor located?
Is this a different procedure from the full polypectomy procedure?
Hmmm I didn’t even get a report… just a prescription for a CPAP. Makes me feel like it’s all a big scam…
I was told to wear these because I had a turbinate reduction.
Who told you. And why did they tell you that.
Mupirocin USP 2%
Man can smell the 4th dimension now.
😅
Why the patient is not sleep????? I thought if its nasal operation the patient will be in general anesthesia.....just asking because i also have a nasal polyps and planning to go under operation.
That’s what i was thinking i just had one with anesthesia approximately 2hours surgery
9/10 he probably had a local anesthetic that is sprayed into the nose
Could I send yiu my daughters results and could you help me with them I'm struggling to understand

can balloon sinuplasty cause empty nose syndrome?
For those looking to breath through the nose better, try the much less intrusive “Cranial Facial Release” before allowing anyone to butcher your nose.
Can using a sinus rinse cause ear fullness?
Sir I have LPR and Post nasal drip this is a bit complex but you can help right? Pls do help me
Yeeted my matteress and pillow. Sleep on a sheet of a thick cloth on my bed. Wash it frequently and dry it in sun as well

Nice, helpful video. I like the trick and slogan as well.
After struggling with dust allergy for years, my uncle found remarkable relief through IAFA Ayurveda's natural solutions. Within just 2 months, his symptoms significantly improved, and he now enjoys a better quality of life. IAFA Ayurveda’s approach truly made a difference for him. Highly recommended!
Can LPR also cause laryngospasms?
I have allergy test results for my grandson. But I cannot find anywhere where it actually explains what the numbers mean. Why can’t any doctor seem to do that my grandson has 15 i/25e for milk that’s just one example. What does this mean?
I want to get rid of it, it's hard to breath I have this thing for 3 years now...
How are you now
@marthasisco9678 Still have it
@Forever_Legend1 nose stopped up?
May God bless you. I live in Canada and I have a large mucous cyst in my right maxillary sinus. I have been to several ENTs here in Canada they don’t seem to know a single thing but cut off your turbinate. It’s either they don’t care about nasal airflow or don’t understand it, instead they just inserted a tube down the lower part of my nose and then checked my septum, then cut back my lower turbinate and finally concluded that my air way is clear, but I feel thickly stuffed at the top of my nose in the area between the eyes and a couple of days after the process I feel worse than I had gone to the hospital. I’ve been suffering for years now and can’t get help. I only get appointments once after about 4 to 5 months, and so tired, mentally stressed and frustrated, I feel physically drained every single day of my life. If anybody knows a doctor here Canada who can help me I will honestly appreciate, simply send a reply to this message and I can follow up. Thank you 🙏🙏
whats the name of medication i must get i suffer more then 10years of the reflux
Omeprazole
I had terminate surgery and was never ever once warned about empty nose syndrome! Thank God, I didn’t get it, but I also needed to go back in because the procedure they did did not help me be able to breathe so they wanted me to come into the hospital where they could put me under anesthetic and do it more aggressively! 😮. Then somehow I found out about this and I haven’t gone back because I am afraid of getting this problem and I should’ve heck don’t want it !! 😢
Look into Cranial Facial Release. Game changer.
did you have any problems with your surgery results? like, do you have trouble talking?
on july 21 I had nasal surgery done because of my allergies to antibiotic's and trouble treating my sinus infections on my first ENT visit the doctor said that I needed surgery to fix my problem including my septum and turbinates surgery went fine when I when in to have my stench remove he sliced open my artery and I had to be rushed into surgery again since than its been hell Im having all the symptoms of ENS but my doctor hasnt said a word about this infect this is the first time that I have heard about this what do I need to do my doctor has pretty much brushed all of my symptoms off
Thank you so much for this! I have now watched several of your videos and feel I can make an educated decision about the surgeries recommended by the ENT I saw. They recommended getting rid of the concha that they said appears to have been there for quite some time, septoplasty, and turbinate reduction. I believe the best decision is to have the concha taken care of, and possibly the septoplasty... but to absolutely NOT let them touch my turbinates whatsoever. Any other suggestions people may have would be appreciated. Should I also not let them do the septoplasty? Or is that generally safe as long as the turbinates aren't messed with?
Good question, I have the same query..
Does this also make people have a constant dry cough? And feel it in their chest?
Turbinate resection surgeries/procedures ought to be outlawed in the USA!
No, you cant escape
