Guitar Pete-Love Me Or I'll Kill You
Townes Van Zandt-Loretta from Live at the Old Quarter

This is hands down the best recorded version of this song. Frankly I am not a big fan of any of the other versions and were it not for this one I'd say it was one of his more forgettable tunes. Thankfully, this one exists. I can't say enough good about it. The happy upbeat playing (very rare for him if you know anything at all about Townes) captures the mood perfectly and his voice as a good as...

Cool song off the album "Scuffletown." I keep getting emails that people are subscribing to my page, so someone must be watching these. so for those few who you are, enjoy some eric taylor (thumbs up)
Jerry Cantrell-Give It A Name

My favorite of the jerry solo tunes. I also like it far better than any song on the new aic album. no disrespect to william, saw em play live back in 06 in chicago, he was great. new songs just didn't do it for me. anyway, enjoy give it a name, i think cantrell is one of the best songwriters of the generation.

popa chubby-woman in my bed dub

i meant to put this up awhile ago and just kept putting it off. anyway, the song is good, really good guitar work and my personal belief is that popa chubby is the best lyricist in his game.
tom waits-black wings

this is off bone machine, one of my favorite songs by waits. images are of no real significance just what i could quickly pull together from search engines. i like to think you don't know whether the character in the song is good or bad, and you don't know whether the wings beneath his coat are angel wings are demon wings, hence the last picture. of course that is my interpretation there is no ...

Thanks for sharing Wendy. He's with you. ❤
So agreed! Loved them since forty odd years. Core memories. I can feel where I'm was. Magic!
From Australia best band I’ve heard
My dad loved this song, we played it during a slideshow at his funeral. I was 17 and now I am 22 and constantly come back to this song. Hug your loved ones tighter, you will never know the last time you see them.
Rip to your dad. Stay strong ✊️
Sorry my friend for your loss, I do understand. You can never speak and show your love too much for your loved ones in this life!
Look up the lyrics: NO ONE can understand them. There are at least several versions. Someone needs to ask the Ozark Mountain Daredevils, but they can't understand it either.
You must be an urban male !
Great
Country girl knows how to do it
Get this! I was at a gents lunch yesterday in southern France, Texas Bill was next to me who grew up in South Missouri, these guys were mates of his. Love them. Some going back to The Old Grey Whistle Test in 70's UK.
Pure music
His Wha Wha......wonderfull
Gilbert Wayne Borders..⚘️⚘️
Knowing what I do of his career, I’d have to say the latter. It’s what makes him often duplicated never replicated❤
Happy vibes❤
Damn! I still get goosebumps listening to this song!!! Saw the OMD in the early 80s when KY102 sponsored a show in Warrensburg, MO for $1.02! Great show and truly gifted musicians. ❤❤❤
One of the best bands of all time I think
Wow🎉
One of the best ever

Thx for the memorie
who the hell was E,E Lawson..???he sounds like one hell of a man.."sittin on the porch with a barrel of corn" classic
To me, E.E. was a bootlegger of moonshine and homemade beer from inside a blind pig party disguised as an ordinary general store in your average southern areas from Ohio to Florida.
What a voice. As far as I remember this was on the album It'll shine when it shines from around 1975. I bought the album because I just loved the song Jackie Blue and still do.
E E Lawson sounds like a great guy to know. From a safe distance.
He's a hell of a man"
Leonard Cohen, also
What on earth are they singing about?
i took lessons from CE ...wonderful player, easy to get to know, can flat out play
Actually much more
I listen to you as much as Allman bros Tedischi trucks Led Zeppelin and Mac Miller.
Straight up look at you guys. A Missouri country girl like me take you down. And you’ll love it.❤
Always thought these guys and Black Oak could'a made something greater together.
I agree, best Bluestrack ever
Love you Gord...I really miss you sometimes....I hope you are with everyone else xo
I also am from Missouri and in particular was down near springfield and bolivar when they started out and I have been a fan ever since, they are my favorite band and agree, they are severely underrated
My brother brought this band home 2 me from St. Louis. I love the band and my brother turned into a jerk!!!🔊🎸🎹🎻🪕
I haven't heard EELawson in more than 30 years. It all came back like it was yesterday.
I used to go camping with my kids every year at the Ozark Campground on the Buffalo river with several other families. My friend Kent, LOVED this song so I learned it on guitar and we used to sing along every year. He later got Parkinson’s. He lost his business and could barely walk or talk. It was horrible. Was for him. He went to his cabin in the Ozark Mountains and took his life with a shotgun. I miss him. And miss Steve Cash of the OMDD. May you both RIP. ❤️🙏
Derek Trucks and Warren haynes doesn't get much better
🎸🪕🎻🥁
Saw them at Red Rocks in Colorado and got to meet them after the concert. I will never forget that, ever!
Santiago de chile 28th of dec., 2022, 10:08 am. Is everybody here this morning??
Went to school in Springfield with these guys always knew from the beginning that they would go far. Great guys
Hard workin
Really good memories in the 70s
the Best.
I've never heard this song before. I was going through my 1976 HS yearbook. A member of that class put the lyrics of this song on his Senior Page. J.M. Rene: if you ever see this message, I'd love to hear back from you. To show you're bona fide, you should name the hockey player also on your page.
My all time fave track 🙃🤘🎧🎼💚💯💯💯💯💯💯
Any you Ozark men still around? I’m a 59 year old Alton Il/ St. Louis country girl attorney.
Back in the day, this song used to come on at parties and everyone would start singing along at the top of their lungs.
These are my people.
