I invite all viewers to follow me as my goal is to record every aspect of the build as it progresses to its final stage. I hope you’ll find the channel beneficial to your build. Let’s build the Titanic, enjoy.

Welcome to Tony's Build the 1/200 Scale Titanic
At this point you might aswell just have an entirely photo-etched hull.
why? I have built Trumps Titanic does not need all that guff.
Paint stir sticks were a brilliant idea, thank you
That's just incredible, great job. Beautiful.
Whats the music you use?
The amount of details in your videos is INSANE! I hope you are well and thet you will resume posting soon!!! 😊
Thank you so much for this and for all your other amazing videos. It is SO GREAT to be able to see these parts being put together so upclose. If I had found your channer earlier I would have saved myself so much time. I know it's been a long time since you posted this. I find it amazing that there aren't more people watching these. I will try and spread the word about your amazing work. Happy 2024!
I am following your build- beautiful! I have a couple of questions for you 1) How long did it take you to receive your parts from minibrass? I am asking because its been almost 2 months since I ordered my parts and I have heard nothing from them. I tried emailing them- no response. 2) I noticed that you sprayed tamiya spray lacquer over testors spray enamel, have you had any problems? I was told that was something that should not be done. Its confusing to me.
How did you get the info on the houser pipe from shape ways. I ran in to a dead end.
Hi my friend, how are you? For the hull plating, did you use a lot of gorilla epoxy glue, I bought 2. Can we use a brush to spread the glue? Thank you in advance for your answer.
Glad to see a new video after a little break!
Thanks
Are you going to do a electric wiring guide as well
Sounds like a good Idea, I’ll look into it.
Super!!!! Thank you!!!!
Welcome!
hello, sorry for the inconvenience and sorry if I write with google translate, I'm using your same modules ( PCBO12 ) I wanted to ask you if you can insert a PDF file in the description that you can download, so you can replicate the wiring diagram. the one in the video is not possible to read. I also wanted to know if you connect all the LEDs you mount in series or in parallel
There have been many changes since this video, check out the woody’s B-Deck Ceiling video I just uploaded. Here I set the LED in Parallel so if I lose one LED the others will continue to have power, never wire in series in this situation.
where did you get the clear hull support ? love the work i am about to start mine

Hi dude , all clever building !!!!!! , can I ask, where you can get the decals from please, regards Tom from England 🇬🇧.
I add 3 links for the decals, click “Show more” in the description below to find the decals.
Enjoyed the video but for poor sound quality. Music ok but vocals poor, sorry. Best wishes Vic
I’m working on using a single mic for all the video recorders. It’s a work in progress. Thanks for the motivation.
Very good advice to stop the wood deck stacking! Did you notice there is a C deck bulk head included with my PE Superstructure set? I purposely designed with extended sides to fill the gap created when people use PE hull sides. Then the thickness of the bulkhead and the hull sides is to scale and matches.
I’m aware of Woody’s C deck bulkhead, in fact I have a few videos scheduled on the installation of several Woody’s Model Works photo etched sheets, Stay tune and Thanks.
Awesome
Thanks
Hello, are you working on your titanic yet?
Now that football season is over its time to get back to the build Al.
I’ve been following your build for my own reference and just want to say thank you for teaching me new skills
you're welcome
Nice detailing man, you're a very patient and skilled modeler.
Thanks
I always wondered what to hole was for, people either didn't know, never noticed or or didn't know what I was talking about. I just found out the name. I'm so glad that mystery is finally solved. It bothered me for years since I first watched 'Titanic' (1997).
I hear you; I’m learning a lot myself on this build
Of The*
I'm waiting on some stern hull plating and China 3d parts, so I can't do anything to the hull. I've decided to tackle some of the various deck parts (fans, vents, capstans, fairleads, etc.) I tried one of the cranes yesterday using the KA kit. My hands aren't the steadiest and while I finished it, it was a nerve wracking event! Then last night I found your RUclips site and you made it look so easy. Sure, you have the 1,000x magnifying lens to help, but you had a slow, methodical approach that I seemed to have missed. So today, I did 4 over a 2-3 hour period. I am pretty happy with them...thanks to you! (um...I missed a few of the VERY small cross beams at the end of the crane...don't tell OSHA!) WELL DONE and THANK YOU!!!!!
I appreciate your response. I too had difficulties! I recent broke a China 3D Print Bulkhead that was already installed, what a nightmare ($50.00 down the drain!). I had many other issues but always seem too fine a way to move to the next step. I wish you the best on you build.
I love it, its very good explain
Thank you! 😃
@@BuildingtheTitanic your welcome 😄
Looking good. But I'm afraid that you are falling into a little bit of pitfall. There is a slight difference between the wooden decks. The Scale Decks are designed to go under the bulkheads. Whereas the Pontos decks allow the bulkheads to sit directly on the plastic deck as the kit was designed. This means that with the bulkhead sitting on the wooden Scale Decks will sit a light higher than the kit is designed for. The bulkhead sits high by the thickness of the wooden Scale Deck. As the model is built up, this extra height adds up so by the time you get to the boat deck, it will look like boat deck does not fit. Several RUclips channels discuss this issue.
Wow, that’s wonderful news. It’s too late for this first level, but I’ll be sure not to pile on the next wood decks on the upcoming levels. I didn’t think of that, but it make sense. Thank's a mil Richard.
Welcome back! Stunning update, it's a plasure watching the timelapses
Glad you like them!
... also, your trick of using the MK1 deck to position items on the scaledeck - I shall definitely be doing that!
I’m glad I could help Neil
Thanks for setting up the website... I am sure it is going to get a lot of use from me.
Yes, it was design for the Titanic builder, like us. Enjoy Neil.
I like it
Thanks
Please drop that "music" otherwise love what you've done here.
I'm thinking of just using music on time-lapse section only. Thanks for the tip.
Great tutorial. The plastic edges on the model are out of scale they should have made a better job. Placing them rivets in 3dsmax not fun.
I hear you! My challenge was lining up the windows that I drilled prior to receiving the detail kit, big mistake but was able to get it done.
How much are these?
I have a site on this build. I recorded all the cost for this build, The stern plating runs around $76.00 www.buildingthetitanic.com/Cost.html
The music is way too loud!
I haven't mastered my audio skills but defiantly working on it!
Cool
Thanks Nick Nicky
Very nice
Thanks again
Awesome
Thanks
Fantastic work!
Thanks a lot!
Nice work, really enjoying this build
Glad to hear it and thanks John
Very good demo of how to get this frame all square. I’ll try this on mine. Fingers crossed!
You'll have no problem, 👍
Cranes look brilliant, great job
Thanks 👍
Fantastic work. If I may ask, what tool did you use for the cutting and which putty did you use?
Thanks, I used a WL-800 Mini Girder to cut the PE & Basic Type Tamiya Putty #87053
Great vid! Do you have to sand the surface down because it seems with the brass parts will stick out compared to the kit surface.
Negative, it looks much better in person. The only issues were the end pieces, E11 through E14, the ones with the port holes, if I had to do it over, I would leave those out.
@@BuildingtheTitanic thanks! I've got all 3 sets before Elixander stopped making them and want sure if sanding was needed.
@@BuildingtheTitanic thanks! I've got all 3 sets before Elixander stopped making them and want sure if sanding was needed.
Looking good ,I've drilled all my portholes ready for my leds ,which are on order from lighthouse leds.been ordered a week but takes about 2 weeks to get to uk .cant wait to get started on fixing them .
That’s great, it should be a breeze if you didn’t use Minibrass’s Hull plating. Using the plating looks great but lining up the holes can be a challenge! With time and patience, it can be done. Goodluck with the build.
@@BuildingtheTitanic many thanks great news the fibre optics have arrived ,they shall be light
I must be thick lol I didn't get how you connect the fibre optics up meaning what is there light source?? Otherwise brilliant video 🎉
Looking good not far behind you with my build got the fibre optics on oder from lighthouse leds .in the usa so sat waiting patiently for the postman
That’s great, I’m halfway done with the hull fiberoptics, what a task! The video will be up soon. Have a fun build.
Nice work but the propellers were actually all bronze not red in the middle
This has been debated for some time, but I was hanging my hat on this article. www.titanic-cad-plans.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/Propeller-paint.pdf Thanks for the info, Ronald.
side propellers, inverted. Anyway, good work
Got that fixed, good looking out andrewsbestship, thanks!
