Set up no problem. Have had mine a while and no problem with th the ball socket working loose. Sometimes there is a delay in notifications but better than smart switch. I like that notifications can be received through alexa. Paid €20. I agree regarding use as a security camera but works well as a monitor.

Hi there my Wi-Fi at home is provided through Rogers but my cellular data plan is provided through another company called chatr. I bought this camera to see if anyone has been entering in my home while I've been gone. As I've had a few break-ins. When I walk away from my home and away from the Wi-Fi, I can no longer access the live streaming to my camera at home. I connected the tapo camera to my Wi-Fi provider Rogers through my mobile phone using the tapo app. When I walk away from my Wi-Fi connection and turn on my data plan for chatter I can no longer access the live streaming. How do I resolve this? How do I access my live streaming camera when away from my home using my Charter data plan ? Please help.

If you are filing through a window and want clear night recording... keep it set on day... night vision will just reflect the camera on the window.. quality is still great!

This software don't even let you set a OP(overprovision), is that because its not needed now ? Samsung Magician software allows you to set a OP

Thank you for the video and the time you put into this. Videos like this really allow us to see it first hand without installing it. It seems like software you really don't need, but it is a useful tool.

However, it is not found by WD Dashboard, nor by CrystalDiskInfo. The tools SSD-Z and HWiNFO64 find the SSD. In the BIOS (UEFI) of my motherboard MSI MEG X570 ACE, the self-test does not report any errors. What I said about the Western Digital SSD also applies to my Samsung 850 Pro SSD (Samsung Magican). Programs and drivers are up to date. Only the Western Digital has a Microsoft driver. I wanted to search for and install the latest driver from Western Digital via the Western Digital Dashboard. What may be the reason that both SSDs are not found in their in-house software or the "prominent" CristalDiskInfo. In my opinion, the problem has to do with the BIOS or Windows.

Can the USB port be used to trigger a shutdown of a NAS? I want to use this so that I can run my NAS and router without risking it. I know some units have a USB port which can be linked to a NAS and the NAS software can initiate hibernate mode or a shutdown. I don't need anything for my computer. When I'm out, I turn it off. My power boards are mostly surge protected.
