For my third Vernon I decided to be a little more adventurous and make the insides of the button placket in a contrasting fabric, fearing it would make the folding even more of a headache, but, lo and behold, it's actually easier 😂 plus it looks awesome! Can't thank you enough for these awesome videos to go along with your patterns ❤

I made this pattern. It is my first time wearing a skirt that actually looks good on me. I plan to make more for summer and winter with different fabrics. This video was very helpful addition to the book.

Wonderful video. Very clear. I appreciate you are demonstrating with minimal gadgets. However, you need to discover "wonder clips" for clipping binding onto the edge instead of pins. They made my sewing life so much safer! (I don't work for Clover).

THANK goodness I watched this. I almost didn’t get it correct, the full FBA from your calculation I did, I needed a 1 inch FBA but I didn’t know it needed to be divided by two, IT’S A GREAT THING THOUGH.

Hi what kind of fabric are you using for the lining?

I have a cozy flannel I am hoping to make some lounge/pj pants out of. I have this pattern from the book but just realized it’s for a knit. Do you have a pattern that might work? I have made a few failures before because they just don’t accommodate my curves.

1:12:53 oh my God, thank you for mentioning that! This happens to me so often and it has been driving me mad, because I thought I was just that sloppy with marking, cutting or sewing 😂 Good to know it happens to others as well!

What happens when one side is way bigger than the other

Hello, I’m just starting to watch bra making videos. So very interesting & intricate ❤ I will try sewing in near future for granddaughter / oversize needs. I don’t feel the recent sizing at Dillards was correct. How can she really be 46 H. At store. When home measurements are 58 full bust / 48 under bust band ? I have been making 3x into 4x outerwear. But the bras. Are a whole new world. Thank you.

Okay, I'm a newbie, I happily admit, but I really wish you'd done this tutorial with a patterned fabric instead of lace. The lace makes it so much harder to be totally clear what you're doing and which side is going to which side.

Well done video. I am ready to start this garment with test fabrics so I can concentrate on the methods. I will be able to go so much faster after watching your video.
