Seeing it the 2nd time today!! Won the lottery. Last time I saw it, I missed Tshidi when I last went 10 years ago. She temporary switched to the tour. I ended up seeing Ntileseng Nkhela play "Rafiki".
The lion king is my all time favorite Disney movie of all time I got to see this last summer with my mom and it was AMAZING BEAUTIFUL AND BRILLIANT!!! I loved it I sang along to all the songs I laughed and cried at the end when Simba took a bow I screamed I LOVE YOU SIMBA 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I'm a Disnerd I grew up with Disney and I love all things Disney I'm 30 now and I still watch Disney I always will always love it
The ticket is worth every dollar just to see the first minute of the show. Rafiki voice is amazing, maybe perfect person in perfect role
Back in the 2000s did they not do their iconic pose in the finale & super trouper? Where donna has her hand held high & tanya & rosie are with their hands on their hips?

Why isn’t that Journey to the Past instrumental on the soundtrack?
They barely publish the curtain call music on a recording, that is one of the reasons I recorded the whole thing, including the play-out (the Journey to the Past instrumental).

I saw this Saturday 19th March 2022 and I will never, ever forget the experience. Myself, my mother and my sister all crying at the end of the opening number. This production is just absolutely stunning.

Saw it ten years ago in NYC with my daughter. We saw again Thursday afternoon in North Carolina, taking her three year old daughter. She sat on my lap, laughed, clapped. She knew the names of the characters. It was emotional seeing it through her eyes. She loved it, hasn’t stopped talking about it. I cried at the end. It’s an amazing musical, a must see.
