Fanatics has no clue what they are doing as far as creating a collectables market. Its only magnified by their rampant supply. Volume can offset supply, but Fanatics have 0 plans to do anything to attempt that besides general market cycles/sentiment/rookies doing their thing. It feels okay to me if everyone who wants a base....can get a base for a low low price if they want it. However, at what point should something be "special"? Since Fanatics, this bar has gone lower for Modern. Ive got a lot of thoughts on this. Thanks for watching

100% true. Blurred lines for many people between "investor and collector." Some fall more to one side. Flippers follow money and price action. Soccer has little history of price action for ppl to be excited about. We'll see how things develop. Thanks for watching!

Often the case here in the US. Certainly exceptions, but at least now, as a casual collector. Its disappointing. Card shows put 0 care into making sure theres variety. Appreciate the comment and watch through 🤜🤛

This is a great comment/take. I agree, and good to point out! A lot of those reds were shilled and that whole red saga went terribly when that big wave got listed. Didnt like to see that at all. Fully onboard with eBay comps never being reliable. Worst of all places to look for numbers. 130point/sellthepeak for better accuracy. Caught my laziness on the Jerry! Hahah I v much agree, its getting pretty messy with the new released stuff. Not a fan of it only to getting more ridiculous from these 2 companies. I actually am super interested to hear more detail though. 0 problem to think that 2 of these may be undeserving! Would love to hear which 2 and why? Any and all opinions welcome here. No bad takes.

I agree! Theres plenty of other sets the deserve attention. Couple personal favorites in what you listed. I havnt actually seen much of the thesis for 2015 Donruss? I like the duel autos from that set (bale/cr7) is a wild one. What you like about the set and what will help it age well with time? Would really appreciate a answer to learn more! @@f1sker_karma as always with donruss, you get a LOT of base which I like (unpopular opinion I know), a lot of legends of the game that are not on the 2014 prizm (Zlatan, Berbatov, Arshvin etc.) and it has the best signature set to date IMO - the beautiful game.

@@f1sker_karma j’allais au Parc des Princes voir jouer le PSG lorsque j’étais jeune, c’était la folie à l’époque nous descendions sur la pelouse à chaque fin de match pour tenter de voir nos joueurs préférés de prêt, Valdo et Raï étaient mes joueurs favoris. Je remarque que les Américains s’attachent plus aux statistiques des joueurs que nous les Européens, le style, l’élégance, la puissance et la vitesse sont des atouts que nous prenons en compte pour juger du niveau d’un joueur. Lionel Messi, par exemple, manque de style et d’élégance à mes yeux contrairement à Beckham ou Bellingham, même si c’est deux derniers ont moins gagné de trophées, leurs cartes seront toujours plus attrayantes pour moi. So much hope for the UK guys. Bring some intelligence into this market! US collectors often do not watch football and it shows. Major advantage across the pond and a lot of passion to be found. Gotta think more people in the UK move away from collecting kits/stickers in time. Understand the culture of collecting there is different though. Appreciate the words. Thank you for watching!

Card have had a upside but that's because we have more choice now..There has been Topps Match Attax & Panini Adrenalyn XL for many years but they never had parallel or numbered cards. 2 is a big step up from years ago! I bet I would enjoy the shows there more than the oversaturated shows here with nothing but Baseball/Basketball legacy tables. Love the way the UK market is going. Gives me hope for a bright future. So many passionate fans unfamiliar with collecting outside of kits/stickers. PSA really needs to get it in order, and help you guys out ASAP with local service. Its pathetic they havnt already. USA got the collectors, but few football fans, UK has the football fans, but few collectors. I fully agree here. On card autographs can make sense to me on old historic cards. I cant bash people that seek to collect those when authenticated However… yea on the modern side. I will not participate in base on-card autos. Im a bit against the autograph hounding culture thats pretty aggressive here in the US. Esp when its just for a quick sale. This is on PSA/BGS to fix, but in the age being able to get autos for most players on modern cards. Its just not a area that I even consider. Ima fan of both licensed sticker autos & on card though for sure.

Couldn't disagree more. Modric has solidified himself as one of the greatest midfielders. Many put him alongside Xavi and Iniesta. So yes, he is certainly in the conversation, and out of the players you named he will leave a greater legacy than Lewandowski.

I can see why theres debate for some Ney is finished at 30. His career started almost too early. 200+ unappreciated goals in the Brazilian league before Europe arrival. This is certainly going to be the longterm knock. Modric and others continued to ball well past 30. I watched the Modric narrative really explode after the Euros when he lead Croatia. Entire perception on him was massively boosted AND he performed incredibly when Americans were getting interested in Soccer for the first time. I think everyone listed is incredible, but Neymar just personally feels like he had the most cultural impact inside/outside the sport. Plenty of reasons to dislike Neymar, but cant argue that Neymar is the 3 most popular name since 2010. Put talent aside. All subjective. Just how I see it personally.

100%. Just not popular to like Neymar. Easier to sit back and take the career hes had at face value. Even if he hung up the boots today. I think his legacy would be unharmed. Would love to see him continue to ball though on the comeback. CR7 helping legitimize the league and the goals scored there. @@Car_Porn
