43. Looking Glass the Wild Leopard Appaloosa Stallion
If you've ever wondered what it’s like to connect with one of the most remarkable stallions I've ever encountered, this episode will bring you closer than ever. Journey into the heart of the Red Desert, where wild horses like Looking Glass, a vibrant leopard Appaloosa stallion, live out stories of resilience, loyalty, and freedom.
Tune in to see why wild horses like Looking Glass are more than just symbols of strength-they’re vital parts of our landscape, enriching the land they roam. Preserving their way of life is a cause worth championing, because if we lose them, we lose a part of ourselves.

42. Revisiting A Vision for Wild Horses
Просмотров 20321 день назад
Wild horses have long been symbols of freedom and the untamed spirit of the American West. But in recent years, these majestic creatures have faced significant challenges. This year, in particular, has been horrible for wild horses in America. In this episode, I revisit key ideas to provide hope and direction for those who are passionate about protecting wild horses. As we reflect on their plig...

The BLM's controversial new plan, “The Path Forward”, is a fast track to extinction for our beloved wild horses, and we need to talk about. Joining me for this important conversation is Debbie Coffey, writer, speaker, and long-time advocate known for her extensive work with many organizations to help the wild horses and burros. Debbie helps me break down the deceptive language and faulty premis...

The podcast preceding this one on my RUclips scroll is a slaughter holding yard., filled with skinny. unloved horses. 😢 Never so grateful to find a story like this !
Thanks for your time ❤
No video.??
Thank you for a wonderful post, I really enjoyed it and hope their winter is kind to them, in England we feed our wild ponies when the weather is so bad , putting hay out from helicopters, why isn’t it done with these horses? 🐎
Awesome Looking Stallion
Just like they would on the range
Hey Carol, they are wild horses. They don't need, nor do they want shelter under those conditions.......
These mustangs are from an area where there wouldnt be natural shelter other than rock outcroppings and valleys. Wiild horses, when the weather is most dangerous, will stand in rows and shelter each other from chilling winds. Heat for horses comes from digesting food. Horses not in this corral, are fending for themselves to find scrub grass under the snow. Nature isnt kind to wild horses. Still, here, they have a way to generate heat.
Haven't BLM read The standard to adopt A BLM MUSTANG??? I believe that proper cover is necessary!!!!!
I was going to say the same thing 😢
So wrong.
So beautiful ❤😊
The Grazing Association? May they rot in Hades.
This was the best suggestion and very doable . I’m sending this into the Epoch times hoping they will print it .
I've bookmarked the wildhoofbeats site, and will review it all when I'm not an emotional mess already, from all the horse abuse--ACROSS THE BOARD--in every discipline, venue, 'industry'--and it's global. I'm particularly disturbed by the BLM's actions (who made them lord and masters of this land?... the same people that put the indigenous tribes on reservations, or simply killed them.) They would do the same with people, again, if 'they' weren't thwarted by the 2nd Amendment... imo
Perhaps you don't like the fact that people from all over the country are now able to adopt these horses and give them homes. But i can tell you i am eternally grateful for the online corral. As someone who lives in New England. Also, kill buyers are prohibited from buying these animals. These animals are not allowed out of the country.
They are so beautiful
I appreciate all of you so much!!!
Thanks Carol. This is huge for wild mustangs if the Tenth Circuit finds in favor of the wild horses, which I hope and pray they will. I am so appreciative of all of the hard work you do in spreading awareness with your videos , attending the roundups , just keeping us informed of what is happening. 🙏🐴🤍
Thanks for the update. Thank you for what you do.
Gorgeous.
Heartbreaking. God Bless you Carol.
Speaking about adopted mustangs going to slaughter, recently the Horse Plus Humane Society intercepted about 20 plus mustangs that were headed to the slaughter pipeline. These horses looked unhandled, ungentled. They weren’t in the over 10 yr age range so how the owners got title I don’t know. This looks l0 yr old age range either.
Beautiful horses. Thank You ❤️🐴❤️
Beautiful ❤
Look at all that land. ❤❤
Look at all that land. ❤❤
They are beautiful.
They are so beautiful.❤
Hope they are able to stay wild and free.
I wonder how many will end up in the slaughter pipeline. This a horrible. Hopefully some can find refuge in one of the safe rescues.
HORRIBLE!
Why Carlo, why is this happening?
Oh my heart. Hearing them calling to each other 😢
Good lookin babies
How beautiful and peaceful. ❤
Little squealers 🫶🫶 I love watching them just enjoy themselves without them being chased down, peaceful.
I just don't know where to go with this. My US Representative who had an interest in public lands and had a a lot of power in the House has chosen not to run for office. The winner of the primary has no background or interest in public lands. She has been endorsed by the Senator who reneged on her endorsement of banning transport of horses to slaughter. If the Democrats win I won't have a Representative who knows anything about public lands. If her Republican opponent beats her then we will have a business friendly, wild lands hostile US Representative. Outrage without representation does little. What's next?
They are so beautiful
😍😍😍😍красота
beautiful
❤What beauty there is in the world. Thank you dear Lord.
Waiting for their turn. ❤❤
Beautiful thank you 🙏
Was passiert mit diesen Pferden. Schlachter?😢😢
This is heartbreaking to hear them calling to each other! 😭
Beautiful
They sound very unhappy 😢
Horrible! What's wrong with our government? SicK, sick, sick BLM. I'm disgusted. Poor babies.
Congratulations, beautifully done!
They are beautiful!
