Say what you want about Engage but Lumera and Alear's story and relationship got to me. Especially with the context from the endgame missions. Sombron instilled such dread in Alear (and all his children) that they feared ever not being the best. Not being useful. In the darkest moment when Alear's worst fear was realized by suffering a grave defeat, Lumera reached out and made a genuine connection. But neither of them had that much time to really spend together in the end.

bro when i played this game finished it i didnt believe i played a game like this its soo good i couldnt believe it and then did all the content in the game got the plat i wanted to play more thats how just good is this masterpiece game of the year for sure

the game really leans on siding with Edelgard but the story makes you side with Dimitri and honestly i hav no idea why Claud was even in the game. his presence and motivation does absolutetly nothing for the plot of the game. I really do wish that the game offers a real 4th ending where it can only be unlocked after playing all routes and starting over again. I mean the gimick of the protagonist is literal time traveling. a good opportunity for a time alterning choice is that one time Flame emperor ask Byleth to join forces with him after the Remire incident I always feels odd that they even gave byleth a choice to join forces with the flame emperor when it doesn't even matter since she will always refuse regardless if you join her or not.

I use to listen to this track on repeat, vocals are so good. The feeling of self sacrifice & fighting for the greater good.

Man I,ve been listening to this for 3 days now and am slowly starting to want to get into fire emblem. At the beginning I thought that the protagonist looked like some ridiculous OC with his heterochromia but now they kinda grew on me. Shit.

I bet they are going to make it like canon, how cloud speak with Aerith and Zack in Advent Children. I BET THAT'S HOW THEY WILL MAKE IT CANON WITH ADVENT CHILDREN!

I havent played FETH in a year and after relistening to this, all i wanna do is starting once more a new game to discover this game one more time

This is midway between Dream Theater and the sound of old Pain of Salvation, especially the tonal shift at around 0:37 ; really caught me by surprise and I love it.

I did not like this game, but even still I realize there was still a lot of effort put into it. That will always be commendable.

OMG. I've ben so dumb! When I first heard this song, all I could do was compare it to "Hollow" from part 1. I kept focusing too much on the name "No promises to Keep" without understanding the full context. So, I never really payed attention to the lyrics. [Spoilers from the Original and potentially part 3] I just beat the game a second time, to really absorb the story. And now having watched this lyric video. I finally understand that this song is from Aerith to the REAL Cloud (i feel dumb, again). She believes in her heart that one day she will get to meet the real Cloud in person. There are no promises to keep, because as Alphried says in Loveless, "He knows he will find you here." There are actual layers to this song that just went completely over my head. This song is beautiful, and the fact that it comes from Aerith makes it even more special.

People who think Aerith won't come back are just coping at this point lol Anyways can't wait till Cloud finds her in the world where she's alive and finally have their beautiful reunion ❤

Base Engage had phenomenal gameplay but questionable writing while the Fell Xenologue had phenomenal writing but questionable gameplay. And I adored every second of both.

I love Aerith, she was my first fictional crush, and while I also love her woth Cloud, I don't want her to come back, Cloud ends with Tifa and Aerith reunites with Zack in the lifestream, that ending seems more poetic and romantic to me.
