VV Update 10/04/24 - Custom Ruby Dynavap Convection Tip?
like and share guys great video
Dam i just spent 1000 bucks on a volcano and just saw this oh well 😢
Oh the half bowl position is amazing! I almost exclusively use half bowls for everything, so that one made me happy lol
I always see the FKM O-rings and call them the fuck-em O-rings 😂
@@plumokin5535 lmao I think I'll call them the fuck em o rings from now on 😂
@VerdaVap it's even better that you can throw them in iso without worrying so that helps me remember the material properties 😂
@plumokin5535 that was the big one for me too. It's just one less thing to think about, no need to fuck around taking all the orings off each time you wanna iso soak.
@@VerdaVap do you also have ADHD? Cause that's EXACTLY how I think about it too. I used to avoid O-rings products cause of the iso issue cause I knew I'd forget
@plumokin5535 I got half way through the ADHD diagnosis last year when I started VerdaVap and just never went back to the remaining appointments... Turning VerdaVap into a business too all my time 😂 I'm like 99% sure I do have it. That's the main reason I gravitated to cannabis initially. Helps me stay focused and on task as opposed to just bouncing around between everything sporadically 😂😂😂
It’s so pretty I can’t wait!
Hi Mr. Reef, I am just a random subscriber. When are you going to work on these and talk with us on a live stream like you used to do on that other website question mark. Twitch I think it was called.
@@jlm3744 Hi (monti?), Idk, VerdaVap has been really the only thing I've been putting my time into and streaming atm is hard because I'm either working on databases k can't show or spiriously working in the garage inbetween being dad 😂 just chaos
@VerdaVap No excuses, just put that camera on your shoulder again and go live, stream it all. Who is this incredibly handsome Monti that you speak of?
@@jlm3744 😂
The damn flies! This is why I use glass plugs in every opening, to keep the bugs out. Great job on the stem, I look forward to your next update
Yep, I gotta keep everything plugged up now it's summer 😂 Going to head out to the workshop and record a session with the stem this afternoon 🙂
Thank you. Cheers!
That is awesome dude. And where did you get the little bubbler from?
@@jakewatts9652 thanks Jake! The bubbler I found in AliExpress years ago. The page I got it from is gone now but if you search around AliExpress you'll probably find something similar.
Definite 2025 customer here! Been waiting patiently and watching your marvel come to fruition. Great work. 👍
@@noxcorvus93 thanks mate I appreciate you!
Noice got the o ring clearances worked out in the end👌 looks good 🤙
@@DardyCingUnna cheers mate! Yeah third time's the charm 😬😂

Stem looks sick can't wait 🤙
@@DardyCingUnna I'm so stoked with it!
I thought this was a review of sorts since I didn't look too closely when clicking. I almost want to get one just because it's right up my alley. I love herb vapes and dabbing so this is a way to combine them for me. I just didn't see anything that caught my eye like this did when I went looking.
@@eve_squared thanks eve! Happy to answer any questions if you have them 🙂 I use this with concentrates by sandwiching them in degummed hemp fibre.... Works way better than I expected it would! You can also just heat the tip and drop the concentrates right into the air intake holes and it instantly vaporises on the rubies. Mind you, this method requires regular cleaning. The hemp fibre method is my go to now.
@@VerdaVap I guess I kind of do have some questions that came up while watching. First one is, what metal is it made of? I haven't seen enough of your videos to see if you've mentioned it sometime but at the temps this may be heated to I'd be worried about inhaling some small amount of metal and some stainless steels contain chromium so if it's off gassing at all it would not be great. Also do you ever plan to reduce the price as it becomes easier to produce them? Its a restriction for me even though I'd love to have one considering most of the cost seems to come from you having to produce them yourself. Otherwise I really like the design and the combo of new and old feels satisfying to watch and I'd imagine to use as well. Good luck and I look forward to seeing what comes of this.
💚🍂😄
@@entexchange dude I'm gonna be sending a stem your way (and another surprise) to have a play with! I'm gonna need another keychain decapper.... I think I bloody lost it 😭 been looking out for it for a few days now but can't find it 😂
@@VerdaVap Oh hell yeah!! Sounds like we're doing another wood/leaf exchange. Can't wait to give it a go, thank you so much! 😄 PS I'll pop a leaf in the mail this weekend, luckily still a few left
@@entexchange amazing! Thanks so much! I should be able to find some time through next week to spend a few hours in the workshop and get your stuff ready 🙂
merry christmas, been follow you from the very first day one good to see you doing well and still working on the verdavap. nice compact and neat set up.
@@wabalabadupx2912 thank you mate!
I have so many things to say I love your TTB! I have the orb in galaxy black! Whats the whip hose connection at the bong side? The more portable attachment is so cool too! I also save the big nugs for the end 😂 Yocan like the cart battery maker Yocan? I didnt know they worked with butane devices at all The vape station is so cool, so minimal, I love it. A timer feature would be so helpful as you said There really is something to a manual device. It honestly compliments an easy to use battery device very well! Congrats on the baby and fatherhood! I'm also an engineer! Electrical/computer but still lol, I got that feeling from you when you were going through all those CAD drawings!
The ttb is awesome, I bloody love it. Alright so the hose connector, I just spent ages trying to find it 😂 here is one on AliExpress, not from the same shop I got... Seems they've shut down 😂 a.aliexpress.com/_mNGjDgb Lighter, yep the same yocan who does the cart vapes. They are a brand and do other whitelabel products. Thanks for the kind words mate!
Ahhh I had no idea a tray torch like that existed and now I NEED ONE. Maybe I can order it in time to arrive with the VV 1.5 that is on its way. Cheers and thank you. I will probs fab a little half pipe arm onto a piece of sheet steel so it is free-standing and independent from the torch, like a tray on a tray. I recommend that design for you as well.
@@freezemyheaddootcoom the tray torches really are a nifty form factor! Different which is fun! So I was thinking about doing it that way when I design it properly, but it adds another part, and more parts means more issues. I was thinking I'd get a nice wooden based CNCd for the torch, then have a copper piece machined that attaches to the wooden base. Then I realised that the body of the lighter is aluminium, so if I design a copper or aluminium piece that just directly mounts to the lighter in some sort of elegant way that will actually help move the heat from the cooling stand down, and distribute through the aluminium shell of the lighter. Essentially using it like a big heat sync. Idk, I do like the nice wooden base idea though! It would fit the VV vibe as well with the wood. Decisions decisions!
Hell yeah all those ideas sound fun and worthwhile. My tray torch is arriving tomorrow! I just rely on my lazy mig welding ability and a grinder to make it look like I'm what I ain't lol.
@@freezemyheaddootcoom grinder and paint makes the welder I ain't 😂 I feel ya! Would love to see your finished project!
I just got the VV 1.5!! Thanks for all the "snacks" lmao will probs have to regift that Vegemite. I am currently scrounging for materials and will hopefully have a functional torch stand after the holidays. I'll email you a photo if it ain't too shabby lol
Alright I figured out a solution that seems like it'll work nicely. I got a 1/2in copper "stub out elbow" ($5 plumbing dept piece) and a copper female pipe thread adapter. I wanted the VV to sit at about 4.5-5in above the torch and also have the copper arm be long enough to span the whole tray and function as a heat sink like you suggested. Turns out a "stub out elbow" is perfect for that and avoids any solder work. The female threads screw into a standard mild steel nipple that I need to weld onto a piece of steel plate to make a stable base. Then just take a dremel or mini cutoff tool, trim off the stub tip and cut some slits. The inner diameter is slightly smaller than the VV so I'll have to widen the cut pipe a hair with a hammer. Hopefully I'll find some shop time soon to fab it up right quick.
I was on your channel yesterday wondering if you'd uploaded. 1 day difference is crazy coincidence lol. Love your videos
Love it, mine came yesterday and I have not let it fully cool down lol 💜✊🏼💨💨 Keep up the great work Reef 🔥🔥🔥
@@billyyarr6824 hell yeah! Love to hear it! Enjoy! Cheers mate!
24:30 The word your looking for is modularity and I would love to take parts from the 1.5 to the 2.0 or vice versa
@@mclarenspeed yes, I've designed things to be this way 🙂 For instance, the stem attachment will fit on the VV1.5 and VV2.0. I've also made an 8mm stem adaptor, so if people have DynaVap sized stems, they can fit onto the VV also.
@@VerdaVap that’s gonna be so cool I can’t wait!
thats the right grinder 🤙
that lighter and stand though!!! when you putting those out?!?!?!
good to hear man
@@kennysain4202 the lighter itself is called the yocan red or yocan slate. The stand I've mocked up a prototype in the workshop, but I really like the concept. I will spend some time designing an attachment I can get machined to fit on the lighter 🙂
@VerdaVap that and when ya do, link where to buy the lighter if not from you cause thats a dope set up man, handy af and cool 🤙
@@kennysain4202 I got this one directly from the manufacturer as a sample unit, and I'm not too sure if anyone locally stocks it. If you have a google around you might find something but I come up short.

Das letzte gerät was mir noch fehlt davon 2 dann hab ich alles
Hey man just got randomly recommended your channel and loving it. Always loved the dynavap engineering but this is next level stuff, got some friends who love their dynavap who I bet would be keen on this or even just the tip (lol). Really want to get in on some pre-sale or email list action but your website is down :( Tried with a vpn but it's not just me!
Heyo! Website is back :) Had some issues, all fixed now! Thanks for the love, also! I'm sourcing an array of vendor who can supply the ruby part for this dynavap project, currently. Making sure all the prices will actually make sense. Machining ruby is very time consuming and you need to use diamond tooling.... hahaha, pretty cool!
when the time is ready send models out to Table Top Bong, Sneaky Pete and Troy and Jerry. they'll get far more eyes on the Verdavap for you.
I need it❤
can I be a real bastard and say why not just have the poker attached to ''lid'' of the handle... sorry!
@@dismafuggerhere2753 It is attached to the lid/cap of the handle, the poker threads into it so you'll essentially unscrew the handle "lid" and the poker will be attached
@@VerdaVap I also thought the same thing, I edited it out of my comment once I realized but if you just look at it quickly it looks like a separate piece at first. I love the design though the more I look at it!
bringing balls to the dynaverse is cool AF. haven't got much to say, just wanted to feed the algorithm a touch.
I laughed so hard cause I was also wondering "who's we?" and then you said it was just you 😂 I love the improvements. A lot of the issues are so hard to find until you have people testing stuff out. I've had issues with terp pearls getting stuck in other devices when I overfill, but before then I'd have never thought about that being an issue at all.
@@plumokin5535 lmao, I was like why do I keep saying we? I guess the we is myself and Jill, but she's handling the emailing and logistics side of things whereas I'm doing design and whatnot.
@@VerdaVap ohh ok, that's not bad then. I had to look up who Jill was but it's so cool that you and your girlfriend are working together! Life goals! I'm so happy for you, especially now that you have the ability to work on this full time as something you really enjoy. I love this community
Love the bubler idia
@@anonymous_b0t Yeah there are a few mods that have to be done to the cad file before I can get some prototypes made up. For instance, the current spot where the mouthpiece attaches is too low and you'd end up getting water splashes into the airway. There are some challenges to making a nice usable small bubbler, but I'll figure it out when I get some more time to throw at it. I just want something small and palmable that won't break.
Take my money !!!!!
A list I'm happy to be on 😂 Keen as. Edit, presale open for 2.0 on website or?
