Which Type of Vehicle Is Right For You? (AAA)
You missed the most important reason! WTF. It's BECAUSE it's more visible than most colours (airplanes) and hence safer. Duh.
Thought black cars looked cool, I cant seem to keep mine looking clean
I'm looking at the same year, manual 130,000 miles. Asking close to 7k. Still have yours? Problems? Please and thanks
did a nice job, but audio was difficult to hear
I drive a E46 and New beetle and your wrong in everything you've said as a complaint. had a e92 as well.
I really want to test this car with a manual but all I see is the Focus ST or a couple Fiesta ST in my area.
@@LCdic09 They can be difficult to track down, the ST’s in general are much easier to find. In my mind - these are still a better investment (in reliability, maintenance costs, etc). Thanks for watching!
@@austinsautomotiveadvice Thanks for the reply! I also think it would be a better deal (if I see one). Some people say it's too slow, but I think it's wrong to compare it to a sports car. I drive a 2005 focus wagon at work and it's fast enough and handles well for what it is. A newer manual one should be even better.
Nice review. Is this much more reliable than the Focus ST? How does it compare to a Mazda 3 or VW Golf in interior quality, space, fun factor and general reliability?
I can dig it🐊🐊
I bought a black car, did not realize how much of a pain it is to keep looking clean. I figured it wouldn't show dirt. I was wrong. White will probably be my next car choice.
Same thought. My next car will be in white too.
Unfortunately tar spots ruin the look on white cars…..
I've had many black cars: '95 Mustang Cobra vert, '90 Mustang GT vert, '95 Bronco, and a '01 Corvette vert. They are HOT in summer and impossible to keep clean. Have fun washing and hand drying your car every 2 days (it isn't fun and is bad for the paint). When a gloss black car is perfectly clean, they look the best. But unless you keep your car in a museum and only drive it in perfect weather, you are in for a lot of aggravation. My current Bronco is white and I don't even know the last time I washed it. It looks perfect all the time! Black interiors also suck: they are hot (especially a convertible) and show every piece of hair or lint or dust. Again, black is always dirty looking.
2011 focus 😎 subscribed lol
For someone who thought of five reasons to make a video with, you missed the most important reason; it is the safest color relative to other colors in avoiding road accidents.
💯
@@kagepoker Not sure “safest” is the “most important” reason to have a white car. Do you also wear a helmet all day? It’s safer. Perhaps you can also recommend a Volvo?
@@ThinkDifferentish Maybe your life is not as important. Keep trolling.
White cars are UGLY, period.
I just traded a black car for a white one. My first white car ever. Seems to really help with the heat.
Lighter cars get less hot.
White is for nerds, but black is for the savages out there.
Unless you have pitsy poshy fake freinds to show off, get a white one.
I have a black car in California and just use AC 😊 All colors get hot
White cars are so ugly, boring and look cheap (like plastic). Even if someone gave me a free car that was white, I would sell it in a heartbeat. My last car was purple. My next one will be blue or green.
Am in Minnesota too with the 2016 focus 5 speed manual transmission. Now have hit 310k miles on it ..Very few problems .. Snow tires are a must on a focus . Other than that no problems .. Have a gray S sedan bought it new . Not sure how long this car will last drive it everywhere. Was thinking 2 more winters ? Will hate to see it go has been great.
Yes Absolutely Right But Other Special Benefit Is At Night Time White Colour Car Reflect Properly Thats Why Accident Chances Very Low. Other Thing Is White Colour Car Reflect A Lot At Day Light So Car Won't Get Heat Quickly.
My current car is black. Looks great when first washed. I might go white on the next one. They do tend to keep the clean look longer.
Why do u look like carry minati(asia's biggest RUclipsr)
E150
You can not beat the look of a clean, waxed, (no swirl marks), black car. You could spend a day detailing a white car and itll look the same as a white car that just went through a $5 wash. But as you said, black shows dirt fast. White will still look clean even if with that same amount of dirt. Give and take.
I agree - a black car can look super classy when clean. Thanks for watching and commenting!
if the car doesnt have nothing to work with, you can come over here to the str8 6s
Got my charger sxt for 5100 and it was money well spent
That is a nice deal👍
Nice dude
Get a life dude
Fix Ot Rgain Dony
Is that a Ford fiesta?
Close… A bit bigger.
Fix Or Repair Daily = FORD
You are so right 👍👍
Your voice is irritating
Actually I was thinking that was ford focus
If your gonna say that sht, explain why not, explain multiple other solutions. It's like saying don't vote for a politician because and then not explaining
LOLLLLLL
Bro please go back to voicing Mr. Crocker on fairly odd parents
Super reliable car for the money, i love the car,low maintenance, manual transmission is awesome
Absolutely agree!
I love my 5 speed sedan. I have lowering springs, exhaust, intake, and I still have a lot more plans for it. It’s been a good car so far and I’ve heard great things about the manual SE.
Glad to hear - they are great vehicles! Thanks for watching!
I am struggling with Tork, bought exact car a month ago, took was great now struggling to max each gear and can't really get to 80mph
I got one but in sedan!! Yeap is stickshift ✌🏽
Nice! Thanks for watching!
Basically ford focus manual is much reliable than those automatic transmission?
I would agree 100% on this - seems like the transmission is the first big thing to have issues for the Focus if it's an automatic
I got one but is sedan SE and yes is manual is 2014 it got 112,345 miles !
Sedans are plenty fun as well! So much better with the manual. Thanks for watching!
How much was it?
Because I got the Focus during the winter and with over 138,000 miles on it - I was able to get my hatch for under 4,500.
Only 33 mpg? Get about 40 mpg on a 2016 focus with the manual transmission now 230k miles. Zero problems so far . Not very good in snow and ice . Runs great always starts even below zero days . Put in windshield, new air filters ,plugs, coil packs, new bilsteins shocks ,struts , Steeda after market rear sway bar, battery, brakes ,tires 5 times, oil change every 5k miles coolant change, transmission oil 3 times, brake fluid change, front end alignment . That's all so far.. How much longer will it go? Got an extra alternator and thermostat just in case . They say put in throttle body from 2.3 liter mustang. Run lucus fuel treatment in every tank and motorkote in engine .
That is amazing that you have/had 230k miles on it! Keep it maintained, see how far it goes! Thanks for watching!
@@austinsautomotiveadvice Still have the car one year later 297k miles. Had coolant overflow with crack in it replaced along w/ solid plastic coolant line goes to temp sensor ,top of radiator and coolent overflow..which broke . First real problem I have had. Both should be replaced if you have a focus. Plastic parts don't hold up so well . Car drives and runs wonderful still.
@@halaheleu7013 That's incredible - all in how you maintain it! Way to be a responsible owner and take care of the Focus!
@@halaheleu7013 I bought a used 2013 hatchback in manual with 158k and went to change the oil and its wet with oil underneath. Does yours leak oil? What can be leaking on it? Super cool to hear how many miles yours has! How many miles now 4 months after your comment?
@@bryce_149You need to look where oil is leaking from . Can leak from a number of places like timing chain cover ,valve cover ,oil pan, . Was year ago posted comment car has 314k today . Runs ok.. CAT is Shot won't replace it. Will keep on driving it till it no longer runs . Has been a great car sure will miss it when it's gone.
Two year update?
Great question. I may make another video, but I still have the car - still have had very little issues. Regularly changing synthetic oil, and checking other items. 169,000 miles currently.
I have the same car. Runs pretty great so far, random problems though as all cars have
I daily an ST and it's one of the most reliable cars I've ever driven. Ford did well with the manual hatchbacks.
100% agree. Great cars. I’ve driven an ST as well, and they are definitely enjoyable to drive. Thanks for watching!
Hello! I own a 2014 Ford Focus Manual that I bought brand new. It now has 134k miles. It is still on the original clutch! I have taken it through every climate, over a dozen national parks and around 25 states. Just got my first engine light, but it's just a sensor. It has serve me well through all these years.
They are definitely great cars, very reliable for the money. I'm still driving mine - coming up on 2 years with the car... Thanks for watching!
Great to hear i might get a 13’ mk3 with 89km on it for 8 gran which is not bad but excited to test drive it
I got the same sensor !! But is nothing serious ✌🏽
@@6sinsero yeah, It was the purge valve. Bought it from Ford and swapped it out myself in about 30 minutes. It's going to hit 150k miles tomorrow and still going strong!
Thanks for the review, very helpful! Considering a used 2013 focus stick-shift so this answered a lot of my questions.
Good to hear, thanks for watching!
