Agreed 100%. I've been a HUGE fan of "ArenaNet just trying stuff" for a really long time. And when they try weird stuff it's often interesting if nothing else. -- So (hopefully) this gives them enough time to iterate on the fun' aspects, instead of just polishing up a game mode no one actually wants to play ^^

It's miraculously still quite strong. Especially if you run Dwarf with it! You may want to swap in a spear for one of the sets. But I expected them to nuke the Vindicator Dodge Grangmaster, and surprisingly it's still pretty good for the build/roaming!! :D

Tbh it still may turn out that way. I'm hoping that the games being fast/fun enough is enough to catapult more people to to try it more = faster queue's+games = more fun etc. But yeah the development road is still far off so we'll see. :D

You know that WvW and "Open World" are different game modes right...? 🤣

They said it would be in a different spot to queue than traditional Conquest/Ranked. Still I'm happy they're showing it to us this early. Balance is always in flux & builds that become demonstrably better for this may not even exist by the time this mode exists. But I think the fact that they're just trying stuff before they invest mad $$$ into it has promise. 😄

​@@YounesTrainingRespectfully I disagree. What may be "hard" or "confusing" for some is what attracts others even if they suck at it / make bad' builds. Altho I do think if they updated the default builds about halfway through a season to whatever's became meta' that might help ameliorate that somewhat.

at least they did a wayyys better Job than the Balance Team before.... witch was basicly the PvE Balance Team xD

I'm (c)hopeful that it's fun enough that they can do both. Were you looking for something larger like 10v or 15? Maybe on EU, but I wonder if there's even a US PvP pop that could sustain that. 🤔

@@GW2Pseudo I was hoping for at least 8vs8. Anet talked about the game mode getting players comfortable with pvp, but one of the issues is that regardless of the objective in 5vs5 each player is 20% of the teams performance. That puts pressure on individual players to play well and pick meta builds, even in a casual game mode. More players means each individual player is less critical to winning, you can have more build variety, and can double up on roles. Which is great if they want the mode for players to test out builds.

@@ocean_bat Gotcha. Welp at least this mode is more confusing to something like that. I know they mentioned a 15v15 map in the past. So maybe this, but with like a slightly larger point could be adapted in the future. 😄

Yeah they had their music CRANKED so I turned it down at the beginning and forgot to turn it back up when they actually started talking. >.< Sill better than the first record where I had my mic muted for half of it 🙄 but will definitely watch it for the future ^^

Yeah definitely hear you there. Once I started doing this regularly I ran out wayyy quicker than I thought I would as I mentioned around the end @ ~11:00 or so. Boosters help as you mentioned, but the real Spirt Shard Farm' is WvW or PvP with max boosters. Altho I 100% understand that this is most definitely not for everyone ^^

@@GW2Pseudo wvw i get nothing. No loot, no XP. Cause i cant kill anything alone, Always die. And in squads i never get any Hit, so i dont get Partizipation. The only thong i get i from chest out of Ticks. Bit to get this, u need to Run 1 week for 8hours or more to get wooden Award. Ti get 1 level Up with books in wvw i need 1 week with 4+ hours playing per day. And then i have 0 loot. Waste of time

Rivers, it's wasn't in the builder yet. Most builds probably will for the foreseeable future. (Especially if you can get 50%+ boon duration.) ^^

@@NetoSantos-ib4wc Yup. I e heard lots of people launching the base .exe through Steam with lots of success!! It's a great alternative that I tell people if you don't want to mess around with external tools like REWASD or XPadder 😄

Give it a shot. Much of the gear you can get from WvW or PvP, even if you don't have full ascended/legendaries. Bladesworn still needs *a HUGE mechanical overhaul.* But at least we can pretend to be relevant for the 9 seconds until Relic of Rivers gets nerfed from orbit! XD

Don't despair too much. I've been telling everyone on my streams this method for literally half a year whenever they ask + I put up this video 2/3 weeks ago and the price/stock of Aurene Legendaries is still largely the same. People will always be gated on Imperial Favor/Spirit Shards until they put them in the BL Exchange Vouchers. People too distracted with Janthir stuffs. & TY!! ^^

It's not a secret (Entirely why I made the video/stream: I'm not a fan of gate-keeping.) & Use the TP, especially for the cycle of Make-1-Sell-1. Just be patient to list during / before content spikes or patches. It's also a good idea to see which builds get updated with what weapon/are popular on Snowcrows, even if there isn't a new weapon. | For example: If you see Axe/Axe+Spear Berserker just dropped (I made this up) and people are enjoying it for PvE, your port of call should probably be an Axe over say, a Greatsword! :D
