      Quarter wave transformers are used and they are by nature extremely narrow band.

    sir, h = 0.0606lambda/sqrt(dielectric permittivity), it is height of the substrate or what? and why we using this formula for calculating length and width of the substrate?

      Substrate dimensions doesn’t have to be so specific, depending upon the patch size you can choose the substrate dimensions. Say for example, if a square patch dimension is 35x35 mm, the substrate size should be > 35x35 mm if probe feeding is used. In case of transmission line feed, it should be greater than the patch and the feed line dimensions. Thanks

    Hi sir, I appreciate your video, and this is very useful for me, thank you., But I am stuck in a problem. I tried a lot in designing metamaterial antenna, and want to obtain some desired results. But after so many attempts, I am no where. I designed atleast 35 metamaterials antenna, but not able to understand what dimensions I chose, so that required results are obtain. Please help.
