Thanks for the Gametime promotion got last 2 $58 tickets. Was sorta pissed when I went to the Alabama game as I was going to bring my Mom and Sister, but had to be vaccinated and they wouldn’t. Then when I arrived they never checked vaccination status. They could have gone to the game. My Sister and my Mom both passed this year within 5 months of each other.

You're right, It will never work. Another cost is title IV. It takes about 80 scholarships for football so they have to add another 80 for women's sports.

I love Watson. It seems like the Zaggs always have that guy who may not be # 1 or 2 but are absolutely essential to the Zagg's success. Watson seemed to always come up with the key play, usually a steal, that would put us over the top. I hope he has great success in the future.

He should provide the Zags with the type of role player that makes an impact on a game 🏀 without scoring a lot of points. I think that Innocenti will prove to be one of the Zags best additions by the end of the season. Zag 🆙 🏀

SDSU has had the Zags number. Man I'm looking forward to those games, and Boise St.

It was said that SDSU was a step down last year but they made the sweet 16 and beat Gonzaga at home. The team this year at SDSU did lose pieces but replaced them with experienced players. They are much longer and more athletic, so I would not count out the Aztecs. SDSU is 3 - 1 against Gonzaga since 2010 with two victories at the kennel. We lost Lamont Butler and LeDee but picked up two experienced guards including Nick Boyd from FAU. The San Diego sports media thinks this years team is more exciting than last season and I agree. We look forward to hosting Gonzaga at Viejas.

is it true that Wichita State has the same exit fee? they dont have football, so maybe not. Adding Memphis & Wichita State would make the Pac 12 an extremely good basketball conference

I still don't get why GCU gets so much love. They've literally only been a D1 school for 11 years. Before the 2020-2021 season, they were mediocre at best and never had had an NCAA tournament appearance. People are acting like they have some great history when literally they are relying on 4 years of history. And that's it. And if Drew ever leaves, which he probably will, they could definitely go back to mediocrity. Keep in mind they were mediocre in the "new WAC." The one with Tarleton State and UT Rio. The whole GCU thing just baffles me. Even more than Sac State.

I was looking at the basketball schedule for Stanford and Berkley. They are playing in the ACC. Talk about a travel schedule! Both are football schools. Don't ya think one, maybe both, might want to come back to the pac-10 which will have both respectable basketball and football schools?

In order to make this work, getting four Central Time Zones CLOSE TOGETHER is key. -Memphis -Tulane -Texas-San Antonio -Rice (North Texas and Texas State are not much better, and at least Rice has the academics on their side) Remember, the AAC's exit fees are STEEP too. The Pac needs to bleed as much money as possible from the stupid networks (responsible for this mess) to pay off exit fees for the AAC AND Mountain West (suing is a bad idea without proof that the Mountain West violated the contract). And NO Eastern Time Zone universities! I don't have to explain how stupid it would be if a South Florida and Temple etc. were playing in a conference with constant jetlag, do I!

I am confused as to whether or not all these conference changes will affect the WCC tournament in Las Vegas. I want to go to those games but uncertainty makes me hesitate to make arrangements.

Sadly…We’ll always be a mid level conference that is treated like a second class citizen. But we should have a decent basketball league. Let’s GOOOO!!!!

Welcome to the PAC Zags, so excited to go up against you all on the court! Would love the same for Memphis too.

As a memphis fan, I can tell you most of their fans want this to happen. But it has to make economic sense for the university too.

The last two PAC additions are basketball ones. Utah State has won the MWC and been in multiple NCAA tournaments over the last ten years. Gonzaga is Gonzaga. They've been the gold standard for sometime. SDSU was in the Final Four two years ago. What Memphis has in the AAC is a joke. The PAC would be a huge upgrade for Memphis basketball.

The energy just thinking about Memphis to the PAC 12. It’s just so much fun thinking about it. Let’s just give the PAC/Memphis decision makers the space to work out the details. I’m a graduate of both WAZZU annnnd Warner Pacific. The goodwill of having Gonzaga in the PAC is such a joy.

Memphis has always respected Gonzaga and even tried to schedule with them in the past, I believe. Memphis has lost all of it's rivals, but Tulane. Louisville, Cinci, UCF, and Houston are all gone. The AAC is a joke and the school knows it. In the last three years, the AAC has had two NCAA tournament teams. Memphis and UAB. The PAC has seven, and that includes final fours by Gonzaga and SDSU. I think if Memphis can make the numbers work, they leave.

We don't need Memphis and UNLV...Go after ACC school like Duke and North Carolina.

Grab UNLV, Memphis, Uconn, Air Force, Army and Navy

Pac needs some football teams again Memphis is nice but it will not drive revenue.

Yeah I saw clips of the Memphis ad a couple weeks ago. And it did sound like they did not like the first offer. And was trying to get. Second offer or maybe 3rd offer from the pac

News that was missed is that The Pac is pausing in adding schools (at least till the end of the year) The Pac is currently pitching media deals with with multiple hypothetical lineups and membership possibilities.

Sorry, guys👎🤷‍♂️🤔, but Memphis and UNLV as well as other AAC and MW universities are under new contracts that binds them to their leagues. No moves will be made in the foreseeable future.

I know your a bit bias, but st marys brings absolutely nothing to the pac-12. No football, the are a known team but far from a national brand... from a media standpoint they bring 0, they do have some sway as a comptitive team that makes the league better but thats it. Fans of wsu, boise st and maybe memphis dont care anymore that st marys is comin in than they could care that tulsa, tulane ect was comin. Same applies to GCU, they would be better off adding a Montana or a NDST who are big brands at a lower level of football. Idk why wcc people keep bringing up gcu and st marys when they just add nothing in terms of money or brand power and thats what the pac 12 wants and needs

Memphis is the important target that’ll hopefully unlock more schools in that area. My hope is the PAC gets up to 12 football teams with 4 AAC members and TxSt, but I also hope they look at Grand Canyon, Wichita and St Louis as non-football members.

UConn and UNLV would be good back ups to Memphis

If the PAC gets Memphis than you gotta think UNLV reconsiders.

I would prefer the Pac going after St. Mary's and Grand Canyon for basketball and Sacramento St for football. The Pac would overwhelmingly own the West Coast basketball market and a strong football market. Memphis seems out place regionally.

Pac should try to get Uconn with Memphis

If Uconn would come in as a full member and not just football only that would work too.

I think they are shooting for having 9 or 10 football schools so it would be nice to get another basketball school or two to make the conference actually 12 teams. Would be great if they could pry Creighton from the Big East. GCU, St. Mary's, and Wichita seem like solid options as well.

Memphis fans are real happy about this development for the Pac. Go Zags!
