I like to "try" and fix, I like to "try" and mod, I will give anything a go but I am no expert, what's the worst that will happen?!!
I have made mistakes, I have been lucky but I aim to improve on every repair learn from the last and improve every time.
My aim is to buy faulty items and save them from the bin. I try and buy items that I can keep, give to my kids or family or use myself.
I seem to mainly pickup Switches, but will give any console or electrical item an attempted fix!

In my opinion, I think it's better to go for a used S22 Ultra instead. It has a somewhat stronger chip, bigger screen and it comes with an S-pen within the phone rather than having to buy it separately. I bought a refurbished S22 Ultra and I'm loving it so far. I am also a fan of the note's more squarish design compared to the rounder design of the S. I got the 512gb/12gb ram version and it is functioning wonderful for me right now.
Thanks, you make good points but you could argue for all of the other options/models too, especially as there is so much choice. The main selling features for me was it is a Samsung refurb, so new screen, new battery, new housing if needed, possibly all new? It has a little sway over a used phone with no history, warranty. But everyone will have an opinion and the input helps people decide. 👍

Where do you find the files to install? He shows you dragging them on to the mod but where do you get them to even drag them to the mod?
ich have a Switch Modell HAC-001. Serial number: XAJ7004488… I‘am not sure whether to install the V1 oder V2 flex cable? The model number is from v1 (no revision behind it), but some state that the xaj7 is v2. Does anyone know that? Thanks
Good job
The hardest parts were trimming the heatsink and reattaching the sd-card port. As for the points: Use a multimeter to check the continuity values of the resistors. Install the flex cable and recheck the values. If they aren't responding then you'll know they're not connected. And use good flux, best brand is Stirri v3-TF.

Why? Your modchip works. And another chip doesn't send a payload better than the other one.
My V2 is working great. I just purchased an OLED. I received the mod chip yesterday. Does the OLED take the same firmware?

Which modchip is this one? It looks exactly like the one I just had installed in my OLED switch and I'm curious to know what it is exactly (PICOFLY, HWFLY, generic RP2040, etc).

Yer, they used to use cheap poor quality sd cards, the newer models are starting to come with branded ones 👌

My New 3DS XL touchscreen barely works with my finger, but works perfectly with my stylus. Is this something I should be worried about?
This is what all the replacement ones are like, if yours has never been changed I would suspect it is slowly going faulty?

Possibly, but it is thicker though and you don't want to hold in the heat

Hello, what voltage and amps switch was drawing? I am trying to repair switch lite right now, replaced previous master bad soldered type c and it's now drawing 15V 0.48A. No shorts around M92, BQ or other chips, and the only thing I found is this IC is chipped. Can it cause such behavior or should I search elsewhere? Would appreciate the advise
Sorry it was a long time ago, if it doesn't show it in the video then I don't know. If there is a chipped chip though, I would swap that
Can someone help me? I have had a switch lite for about 6 months that was bought new and has barely been played. Im having pretty much the same issue as the person in the video and im not sure what to do.

Mine will let me play FE Warriors and Three Hopes but then it blacks out and I have to hard reset it. Wondering if it’s just the games that cause it to overheat or what, but I’ve had mine since the Switch was a year old in release.

Is the touch screen the exact same as the new 3DS XL? I got a new 2Ds XL but the touch screen is not working right so I'm going to try to replace it and I'm having a hard time finding out if the touch screen is the same as the new 3DS XL or not if so do you know the best place to buy one?
They are different, I still haven't found a decent replacement, someone said I need a plastic one, not glass but can't find one so far! Let me know if you can find one 👍

Either its not push in correctly/enough to make a contact with the pin so does not read or you haven't set your multimeter correct?
