I got a car from a buy here pay here, it only cost me 5k however it was a crappy car so I ended up putting 2k into it. Not everyone can get a credit loan but still need a vehicle to get to work to make money. I live in FL where you NEED a car. So if you go to a buy here pay here get a cheaper car preferably a reliable brand like Toyota or Honda.

I Disagree. Higher risk lending requires higher interest rates to offset the higher default rates. Then when you factor in the unpredictability of used cars and the fact that a car can be totaled in an instance, the higher interest rates and retail prices of cars start making more sense. If a buy here pay here dealer were to not charge charge higher interest and /or have a higher retail car price, that dealer would go out of business.
