Добавлен 28 окт 2020
This educational Physics channel provides simplest scientific explanations for observations in our day to day life in Common man's language with analogies and animations. Through the easiest explanations of phenomena, the listener is introduced to the basic concepts of Physics. We do not stop at explaining what is it, but go on to explain the bigger question, WHY IT HAPPENS?. We are bound to keep the explanations simple but comprehensive.

Tidal Locking | Why one side of Moon is facing Earth always
Просмотров 48 тыс.3 года назад
Due to Tidal Locking, Moon always shows same face to Earth. Faraway side or so called Dark side of moon is never visible from Earth. GPS works by getting data from minimum four satellites to find location and correct time offset. Accuracy improves further when it gets data from more satellites to find location. Relativistic time dilation effects have to be accounted to get good result. And in Global Positioning System, location of device is calculated by the device and not by satellite. All these are explained in simple lang...

Okay now understood ❤ thanks sir
Nice to hear that
Fabulous.. but can you please explain why its necessary to have sun behind us not overhead!!? Please....
What matters is relative position. The function of water droplets are simply to reflect back the rays at 40 to 42 degrees. If the observer is there in the path of reflected rays, rainbow will be visible to observer. Often the water droplets due to rain or humidity will be suspended at some height in atmosphere. So, for creation of rainbow (bow of colours due to rain), it becomes necessary that light source be on back. If sun is overhead, colours can be seen, if we keep some sprinkled droplets in the ground and if we look down, so that, the observer will be on the path of reflected rays.. Hope this helps..
@ScienceforCommonman so its js needed that the sunlight after refraction falls at our eyes?
Yes. There you are. Absolutely correct..
Thanksssss
Excellent video. Have subscribed and asked all my friends to subscribe to your channel. To the point simple explanation with the rught amount of details and without any ads. Beautiful. Kindly make a video on full.moon verses lunar exlipses
Thanks for the subscription and nice words! We will keep that full moon vs. lunar eclipse video idea in mind.
Excellent video
Glad to see the comment
Very nicely explained. Love the indepth physics dive in such a simple way of explanation. Hats off !!
Happy to read the comment. Glad that it was useful
Excellent presentation
Glad to see the comment
It's quite easy to create your own rainbow. All you need is a very fine spray on a garden hose, the sun at your back turn on and move the hose around in an arc and, Voala, your very own rainbow. kids love it. primary rainbows only, no secondary.
Agree to that
Crystal clear explanation Sir🎉
Glad to see the comment
Thank you!
You're welcome!
Excellent explanation. .You have cleared the long existing confusion for all viewers.
That is an encouraging comment.

Sir Eddy topic upload kharlo jalde
Sure
But few videos, I saw circleed video which was captured from top floor or sky view in helicopter. How rainbow 🌈 will be circle 🤔
Rainbow of full circle can be seen from a higher altitude. This part is explained clearly in the video. Watch from 4 minutes onwards...
Sir this video is amazing 😊
Glad to see the comment
90% of heat leaves the Earth's surface via radiation. FALSE. 99% of heat transfer is via convection. there is virtually no radiation from Earth.
I feel you mistook the narration. The video says that, out of the heat radiated, 90% is absorbed by the gases.... and NOT 90% of heat leaves the earth via radiation... Thankyou
So nicely explained! Thanks 🙏🏼

@@ScienceforCommonman I encourage my 8 year old nephew to ask questions. Most of the time those “simple” questions are SO hard to answer! That’s where I found your channel and thanks to you I could give him a reasonable answer! Hope to see more contents like this in future!
What an explanation never see before like this.
Thankyou for the feedback

Well explained 💯
Glad to see the comment.
America is in the West and Singapore is in the East. Therefore at 12.00 GMT the sun rises in the West (6.00 GMT) and sets in the East (18.00 GMT).
Confusing statements...
@@ScienceforCommonman It is NOT the statement that is cofusing, but the totally inconsistent use of terminology. And scientists call their system most precise, accurate and internally CONSISTENT. Try also to find the PHYSICAL MEANING of the 3 positive and 3 negative directions of the Cartesian system of coordinates (why should East, North and Midday directions be called positive and the corresponding other 3 negative, if one applies it to the Center of the earth?), much worse even, what PHYSICAL MEANING can one associate with calling proton positive and elactron negative? The only property of any particle, viz. its volume (= size) is already assigned to its MASS.
best explanation sir
Glad to see the comment
What causes light to bounce in the water droplet & not pass through? Although some light must be made through the droplet what makes this so? How does the light escape the droplet what factors cause this? Even with the other videos I still have a hard time understanding. Shouldn't we see a micro rainbow full circle infront of a viewer, if that viewer is directly surrounded with suspended water & white light from the Sun from all directions?
Whenever light reach a new medium, some of it may reflect, while some if it may pass through. This happens at every boundary with the water, but obviously the other light is lost in other directions which our eye doesn't see.
"Shouldn't we see a micro rainbow full circle infront of a viewer" If you were to draw out all the lightrays from the sun, it would look like a complete mess with light bouncing everywhere (we're talking light being reflected/transmitted at/through at every surface in every raindrop, as well as incident light hitting all different points of the raindrops). Luckily, you only need to consider the light that actually makes it to your eye, so you can disregard pretty much all of this. If you were to do this, you would clearly see why the rainbow shape appears. You're right in that raindrops close to our eyes also reflect "rainbow-light" into our eyes, which increases the perceived intensity. The rainbow appearing "at a distance" is of course an illusion, and all raindrops at the right angle, stretching far into a distance, will reflect some of the light into your eye.
Great thinking to have these questions. Will answer one by one. 1. What causes some of the light to bounce and some to pass through? To answer this, we need to consider quantum behaviour of light and the answer is probability. To further understand this, I would recommend you to read Richard Feynman's "QED: The Strange Theory of Light and Matter" (Quantum Electro Dynamics) 2. Micro rainbow formation... This could be theoretically possible. But the intensity of those coloured light, compared to the ambient light would be so less. The intensity depends on number of drops lined up for producing a particular colour in the cone. Hope this helps.

Have you made a video for a double rainbow?
So far no..
Very well explained. Very much appreciated. I am grateful for your work
That is an encouraging comment too...
Very nice explanation ever seen ❤
Glad you liked it
WHAT RAINBOW'S ARE CIRCIE'S WHAT nae man NAEEE
Ok
Very good explanation. The only thing you might add is why you can see the full or new moon without there being an eclipse. You could do that by rotating your animation so that we could see the moon is either slightly above or below the straight line between the sun and d earth.
Glad to read the comments and Many thanks for the suggestions
