The island is basically owned by the same 1-2 elitist 1%er families. Unless you want to spend $$$$ for $ star hotels and crappy food, it is not worth going.

Thank you - beautifully photographed video. We love OBX - heading to Kill Devil Hills in October with planned trip down to Hatteras ferry dock for shopping and lunch. Then back to the Sanderling Resort in Duck for New Year’s Eve. Thanks again.

The OBX is my happy place, from Corolla to Ocracoke, it truly doesn't matter... Each town holds a special place in my heart and just to get away there is amazing. Will be back there in August and it will be my yearly excape from reality, again truly my happy place.

Some nice tidbits, a bit annoying that Disney made a formerly free service a paid for one though. Excited to see how you did all those rides on your magic kingdom day!

What fun nail polish, really fits with the Disney theme! It’s hard to get a reservation, but the breakfast at Cinderella’s castle is good if you want a fun themed meal. It is a bit pricey though

While I've been to the Outer Banks before, this was my first time to Ocracoke. It takes a little bit of extra planning with the ferry, but it is so worth it! Ocracoke has been on my bucket list for a bit and I am so happy I was able to see it. Thanks for coming along on this adventure with me 😄
