Never have seen any videos of yours. Very relaxing. Straight to the point and really genuine. Great job. I’d rather watch this kind of video as opposed to over theatrical reviews. I have the same machine and noticed you said you didn’t like synapse. What is your experience with it and will it be as quiet without it? I have also noticed that when I switch the screen to Nvidia mode it’s brighter but has a yellow tint to it. Did you have this issue? It just doesn’t seem as bright as it’s supposed to be. Thanks a lot.
I was just looking into upgrading to blade from my Asus zephyrs g15 from 2021. I use only Linux, Fedora to be exact. I think I’m just going get the newer Zephyrus model mainly because of the awesome Linux support for the Asus laptops through the AsusLinux project
I feel like every single release cycle we see Razer almost make a perfect product... like in every category that they make a product. But there's always one little way where they just go and screw it up.
I had a ryzen Blade 14 with 3070 for about a year and sold it. I agree it was just too much compromise. Dock it and it is too loud. Playing without external screen is too small. Keyboards are way too hot. As a laptop the battery life is terrible. If you have that kind of money to spend. Spend half on a desktop and the other half on an ultrabook that makes the most sense to me.
My question. I want to buy a laptop for work, unfortunately a laptop - I will not travel to the company with the desktop. I occasionally play, but rather in demanding titles. I wanted to take a blade with 4090 - but I'm terrified of the noise level it can have. As a result, I rather decided on the 4070. Razer Blade 16 with rtx 4070 seems to be a good choice. I will be working under Linux because the applications at which I write code die under windows. I will do a dual boot to windows. On the other hand I am facing the final choice whether QHD or MiniLed. I don't know which will be better - it would be different if I worked and used only under windows. But is everything REALLY OK using miniled under linux. Unfortunately the blade 16 with 4070 can also go with miniled - so they gave me another choice that I have to THINK about :(
Muy útil para mí, espero que los drivers de nvidia hayan mejorado lo suficiente. Aunque todo parece indicar que no vale la pena jugar juegos en un portatil con linux y gpu nvidia.
what you think of the razer blade 14 2022 with 3070ti is that one good on battery life like doing simple task and coding with vscode or on kali linux on terminal? like how many hours will that get me?
nice video! like the vibe. Would you say 16:9 on the 14” is still fine or are you still tempted to swap for a razer with 16:10? I want a 14” but $2700 is just too steep so i was thinking about last year’s
I am a digital nomad and I just bought the razer blade 18 I come from a macbook pro with 16 gb of ram and 500mb of storage and I really did not want to spend an absurd sum for a macbook with 64gb of ram and 2 terabytes of storage. To program really seen the problems with the linux driver and the battery really worth programming in linux or better in windows with WSL or some virtual machine?. If I had a fixed place to live I would buy a desktop pc and I would program with linux but it is not yet so.
Thanks for the video. I have installed arch linux on the blade 16, everything OK except for the speakers which do not sound. Did you have to overcome any problem like this?
I have the 17" Blade from 2021, the battery still working,, no issues there, I used it unplugged a lot, getting about 2:30 hours, 3:30 at the most, depending on what I do, coding mostly, now thinking on upgrading the RAM and SSD, max it out.
Hello! I really need you help choosing a laptop. I came a cross two razer blades that I’m torn between. One is a Blade 15 advanced with: 4K OLED Touch Intel core i9-11900H 16Cpus up 4.9Ghz 32Go ram ddr4 1to Ssd Nvme Nvidia Rtx 3080 16Go Vram. The other is 2023 Blade 16 rtx 4060 and mini LED with the double refresh feature. I don’t know which screen is better. Or how frame rates will behave in recent games like: RE4 and Cyberpunk. They both are 100$ apart with the blade 15 being the cheaper option. Seriously, I would really appreciate your professional opinion
I would do anything for a laptop like this, a lot of people in my school have super nice laptops but I don’t got a job 😢 I’m studying to become a software engineer so hopefully one day I’ll get a good job, it’s really fun to code and make programs even though it’s hard.. this really looks amazing, it’s crazy how far we’ve come in terms of laptops 🎉
My razer blade 15’s fans are always loud. Even just looking at emails. Why? I can’t use a gaming laptop as a normal laptop if the battery lasts 45 min and the fans are blasting doing menial tasks.
when it comes to reviews there are 2 things I have never cared in laptops, battery life and fan noise and the reason I don't care is because those two things are usual excuses to reduce performance for the sake of "slim" and more portable laptops.
I swear no one tells you these things in the reviews. Stop investing that much money in shit laptops and build a desktop for half the price keeping a mid-tier laptop.
ok i know i commented a lot of crap but this was one of the best laptop reviews ive ever seen good job!!!
also why not just add an infinite loop with a sleep of 1s to the battery script instead of having to click up and enter 500 times 10:08
it would literally take like 30 seconds and save your hand from getting carpal tunnel 10 times over
LOL what type of goofy bootloader were u using in this shot 4:53
just use grub like a normal person 😭

9:40. Seems like something one of Chinese friends, who don't care about patent law, could help us out with. 🤔 Make some after market upgrade options.
Stupid question .. UI is smooth when use it ?

Please do another review.....please.
where??
When!?!
It's the HDD clicks that make me nostalgic. Chef's kiss.
Wow 😮
Why?!?
How?!?

I like your style of reviewing, it's calm and unique. You should definitely make more vidoes in the future 💯

best laptop review ever
I have the same laptop, blade 16 2023. The speakers do not work in Manjaro. How about yours?
3d print some new fan blades. Patents ... PFFT!

I love how this video is so quiet and easy to listen to. I hate it when the video is full of background music.
0:56 💀
you should make more reviews! or videos
As the new 14" Razer Blade does not come with a 4090 nor 4080, are you going to hold out until next year?
this is the best laptop review i've ever seen, I revisit every month
come on, you gotta make more videos on this 5 months later
Bro has beautiful eyes
Have you gotten the speakers to work on your machine?

I would love an all amd razer but 14 inch is just too small for me.
I enjoyed the video, great style and thanks for covering various niche areas surrounding this laptop in this video!

Really good video, you should talk about more of your stuff :)

I really liked this format of review. Nice and easy to listen to!
battery life on windows laptops is just... ryzen is better, but apple just did a great job with m1.
