Oil decline that is not because of oversupply equates to slowing global economy. US economy has been strongest and held up the best but it will also start slowing. Fed will then need to lower interest rate as the economy cools.

It’s an ETF and stagflation is horrible for long bonds.. Also, long bonds move on market expectations. How can you feel comfortable being in the long tenors and claim no recession?? The ONLY way they rally is if we see a recession. Who wants a 4% coupon with inflation north of 5,6,7%?? Only a matter of time before long bond investors realize they’re the suckers in the room and demand higher term premiums

Agree on the analysis. Prefer to add to TLT position on dips rather than chase tech stocks. Closer to the US election would expect some upside.
