A classic masterpiece of engineering and design, it combines high-frequency circuits built with discrete components and audio amplification powered by a TA7240 integrated circuit. It features two oval cobalt-magnetic speakers, delivering beautiful and high-quality sound.

This recorder uses an AC bias recording circuit, and I've carefully tuned the mechanism, adding a precision flywheel to effectively reduce wow and flutter. I've also replaced the original head with a brand new dual-curved head. The sound quality is absolutely stunning! Wishing you all the best ！

Imho, that's doing WAY TOO MUCH to get a single tape clean, unless you live somewhere in the 🌎 where it's tough to get tapes. Where I live, it isn't.

That may actually be a special method of FM recording.

@@analog_music_lover Most definitely. Since all I have are a handfull of heads I salvaged from old non-working tape decks, I have no idea -I had no idea so many wires came out of each one. I feel if I could figure out which wire goes to the input, output, control etc. that would give me personally a good feel for how to actually go about hooking them all up to work together as a machine.

Couple of years ago I bought 4 of these old cassette player mechanisms, didn't actually plan to make a tape deck out of them but now I just might😂

@@analog_music_lover Yes absolutely! Right now I'm building a tape echo and that's the reason I bought those. For motors and such. PCB's are on their way. I will have to build my own tape transport mechanism for that also, but it might take a while.
