    Absolute nonsense. Pressure points are nonsense. Theyre pain compliance which flat out doesnt work on a determined and tough attacker. Quit teaching people nonsense that will get them hurt in an actual fight.

    Submission techniques not taught to police. Damn prison/corrections officers get better submission training than cops do. If they would teach this to cops it wouldn't take fifteen cops to respond to situations, nor would cops need to kill suspects in custody.

    This man does not know what he's talking about. He's making it up as he goes along I have 49 years in the martial arts. I've seen a lot of his hogwash videos. Why does he feel he has to make up things? I really don't know. I practice pressure point fighting and you can knock a man out on both sides of his face using your right fist.

      Back then sparring was kind of a mix of full contact and a little bit of point sparring because of training for tournaments. The 90's was the beginning of Mixed martial arts training

      @dojotelevision always good to know how the older people have lasted. That's part of the training lessons and set of skills you want to have too. If I was the type to travel and interview these old skool teachers.. I would be travelling every weekend on the first of the month to find these guys and interview them. Since they've been on camera and know what to say when asked about their health journey and tips for keeping active

    • @dojotelevision
      @dojotelevision 6 дней назад

      Bushidō (武士道, "the way of the warrior") is a moral code concerning samurai attitudes, behavior and lifestyle,[1][2][3] formalized in the Edo period (1603-1868). There are multiple types of bushido which evolved significantly through history.[1][2][4] Contemporary forms of bushido are still used in the social and economic organization of Japan. Wikipedia

      Ah, dann funktioniert aber BJJ und Jiu Jitsu auch nicht. Morihei Ueshiba, der Begründer des Aikido, war Grossmeister des Daito Ryu und Meister des chin. Bagwa. Des weiteren war er Schwert und Stock Meister. Er wurde im Verlauf seines Lebens immer wieder herausgefordert - er wurde nie besiegt.

    Kein Mensch hält einem Katate Tori Ai Hamni und läuft einfach so um einem herum. Der Angriff zielt auf das Zentrum, um Tori zu kontrollieren. Tori aber weicht aus und geht am Uke vorbei nach vorne. DANN ergiebt die "Änderung" des Angriffs, in einen Ushiro Angriff einen Sinn.
