I'm glad they Americanized engine 8419 into it's traditional style when working on American railroad.

Love to have a g-scale of the steam engine and cars running around my yard. What an elegant paint scheme!

Noteworthy that they've removed virtually all Chinese markings from the engine (flags, writing, symbols, everything).

Nice video Could you be on top of the federal building on 12th and Clark ? Remember as a child riding with my father late 60s crossing over the rail yard on the 12 str overpass and they were still building the elevated sections of HWY 40 east and west bound. Lot of the tracks now gone but frequent the neighborhood.

I was lucky enough,many many yrs ago,to see this place while Red was still in the process of building it all up yet.my dad,and another friend of ours from Colfax,we're both sheep shearers.and Red had sheep at that time.he took us in the basement and gave us a lil tour.heck they were still wiring the main control panel yet.then a couple yrs later my family got to go see everything running.it was amazing to see.can't wait to see again

When I was a kid, my dad (a child of the 1920's & 30's) would refer to the Toonerville Trolley, especially when we were waiting for a bus, or train that was running late... "That darn thing is the Toonerville Trolley" he'd say. Never explaining it to me, for years I thought he said 'Tuna-Ville Trolly'. Nice trolley you have. I'm thinking of making one & calling it the 'Tuna-Ville Trolley'.
