I was in the middle of a warranty claim for my riptacer. The bike wouldn't turn on. They sent me a new display, new controller and refurbished my battery. When i went to clip the battery into place it made a pop sound and then started to smoke. When i got ahold of my service rep Michelle she said they'd send out a new battery, 4in1 cable and xt60 connector. That was over a month ago. Haven't heard from them since. Very sad. Looked on ebay for the parts and nothing even close. Feel bad for Michelle. She was nice
That's some mismanagement, no reason this company should have closed. This is the best ebike on the market.

Seven bikes from this company since 2018 when I started riding I just put 15,000 miles on my ripcurrent s, 44,000, miles overall I'm starting to have my first problems though with battery connector cables and ports melting

is Juice bikes also owned by the people who make the Wired Freedom?
I got one for my motor goat and it seems like the torque and top speed really is not too much better because of the extra weight but I am hoping the range will be greatly improved. Time will tell when I finally get a chance to have a long ride on it
3500+ miles on my 2-yo Juiced Bikes HyperScorpion and I love it. After butting heads with Rad Power Bikes (which eventually lead to federal mandated mass recall and returning my 2-yo Rad Power Bike), I did some HEAVY research into a replacement e-bike and ended up going with the HyperScorpion. I do have a rather negative opinion on how Tora and Juiced leadership handled this, but I wanted to THANK YOU for keeping this story in more of a positive light on your channel with this tribute video. Again, I love my HyperScorpion, and even with hindsight, I have no regrets buying it. Two years later I still feel it's a top choice option (well, if the company hadn't closed!) in an e-bike. It is indeed sad to see the company go.
@@Internetpilot thanks man.. it was a good product and not enough emphasis on customers unfortunately it caused issues. I just hope others learn.
It's terrible to hear that Juiced is going out of business, and from what I've read, it seems that all of their assets are going to be listed for sale at auction. I was excited about their Scrambler X2 when it was released and announced earlier this year. However, a few months ago I contacted Juiced and asked when their Hyperscrambler X2 would be announced (since it should be better than than Scrambler X2 with possible full suspension, dual battery, etc), and I was told the details and announcement would be in Q4 of 2024. I followed-up with Juiced about a month or so ago and asked for an update and never got a response sadly. Too bad since I definitely think their products were ahead of their time, especially with higher voltages and motor watts. I hope it gets revived somehow.
i litterally wrote Tora several times to review his bikes.. he was interested then literally vanished about 4 months ago from responding.. I knew something was off. That Rip Racer may get bought back from who i sold it to now as a collector bike
I'd never sell any of my 3 ebikes. It's my only transportation for right now. I hate to see Juiced close.

@@king-pin007 @ColoradoAdventureChannel I don’t know all that much about the bikes you have but definitely a little surprised you didn’t say you own a Biktrix bike that is local to you. Definitely expensive but Roshan Thomas(owner) is very hands on with his company and builds great bikes. I’m a an owner of one of the first Juiced Scramblers built over 6 years ago on an Indeagogo campaign to kickstart the bike and Tora Harris used to be much like Roshan and then left for China never to be seen again. My wife does ride a Biktrix bike and it’s a very nice ebike.
He seems to be a fuck head not concerned about anyone’s money. Stop praising a company not afraid to shaft the public.
I’ve got $2100 and can’t decide between a wired freedom, another low mile onyx cty2, or a goat Powerbike. I of course can’t yet afford the goat powerbike just yet.

The fact that this can go 60 mph/ 100kph actually kinda scares me
not as scary as some ladies I know so its a minimal risk imho
I just got mine today. It has far exceeded my expectations. My old bike was 750 watts 1500 max. And would struggle just to maintain 25m.p.h. I wasnt sure what to expect from this, since I had never rode any other e-bikes. On power level 3 it got to 20 mph so fast i thought the display must be overly optimistic and had to check it against a gps speedo on my phone. It climbed the steepest hill in my neighborhood at 20 without being close to full throttle, and my old bike would be gassed at about 3-4 mph to get to the top. This feels like more like a motorcycle than an e-bike. The headlight is blinding. I thought maybe it had a couple of dim bulbs in a big fancy housing, but nope, it is very bright. I could keep on praising it, but I wonder if you could answer a few questions for me. Does your charger get really, really hot. Mine gets so hot I’m afraid not to be in the same room when it is charging. It came almost fully charged, and I only had to charge it about an hour and a half. I’m wondering if this is normal. Do you know if there is a way to turn off the slotted lights in the headlight enclosure that are always on? I think they draw attention and I want as little as possible when riding a bike that looks like a motorcycle. Thanks for any help you can give me.
@@edb1913 first off congratulations on one of the most fun best performing things ever invented.. yes it's normal for the charger to get hot, it's what relieves the heat from the current charging. I understand about the side lights. It's a safety feature and I'd love to turn it off lol. But you could unplug it or figure out a mid switch but it may disable your horn tho. It's seriously a fun hobby to get into. It's addictive 😆 but you'll have someone to show for it lol
@@ColoradoAdventureChannel Thanks for the reply. I was just concerned about the amount of heat, but I’ll just have to keep my eyes on it. I’ll probably take the headlight enclosure apart and see if i can disconnect the wires to those always on lights. I thought there might be a setting in the computer to turn it off. It’s not a big deal. I’m really impressed with it so far. This is going to be perfect for cruising around my neighborhood and short trips around town.
I hate to be a pest, but do you know if there is a way to reset the tip odometer without resetting the total mileage odometer? I haven't found an option for that, and who wants to reset their total mileage?
if you're worried about the heat, use a small fan to blow on the charger..will cool it way down

First off congats on my favorie ride ever.. 20-25mph is what I usually ride, also keep it in a middle mode at that speed itll help a lot.. so sayonh that 30-35 depending on weight and terrain. enjoy and lmk when you take it out
@@ColoradoAdventureChannel Thanks for the reply. I have a Cyrusher thats almost maxed out at 25 and takes all day to top out at 28. Really looking forward to being able to cruise at 30 or so and not be tapped out.

I’m riding mostly gravel.. I backed off the rear suspension tension and it suits me pretty well in my humble opinion .. but I only own 2 e-bikes

@@ColoradoAdventureChannel I appreciate it! I think I'm going to first try and see if I can't find and patch the puncture in the tube just by deflating the tire and using a lever to pop if off the rim. Sand the hole, put some glue and a patch on. If it comes time for full-on removing everything to fix it, I'll be sure to let you know!
So awesome that you are getting the 60ah battery. You'll probably be the first person on youtube to make videos of riding with it because I haven't seen any yet. It's a good purchase since the bike is so awesome. I like that you upgraded the tires to Vee Speedsters too. I would do the same thing.
first of all thanks for watching.. I appreciate that.. yeah The Vee Huntsman maybe for winter.. but Im very excited about doing the battery install and an epic range test through some magical mountains here in the Rockies near Vail, plus... a New Seat from Tapia is on the horizon .. so stoked..
We are both lucky to live in Vail valley. I have an eCells bike, but thinking of getting an emoped next spring after the snow starts to melt.

Great review! I’ve been riding for 2 seasons on a used board and looking to get a new one. I’m beginner/intermediate, can ride green and blue and attempt some red/black, go on small jumps and do some easy tree runs. Do you think should go for the Craft or Ride Agenda? Also I’m 5’7” 135lbs what size would you recommend? I like all mountain, from powder to freestyle. Ps: atm I’m riding a Santa Cruz black widow, very old can’t find any info on it, the shape looks a traditional camber and it’s pretty stiff

I bought one of those Amazon 5600 watt 60 volt scooters. Had it for 2 weeks and the main suspension weld broke between the post and the front fender. $300 for a new front end so Im just gonna make something like one of these type scooters. The dual 2800 motors are great and the controllers are 35A. Very torquey

@@samuelbrady8035 all the time.. I try to minimize it tho.. I carry a trash bag with me to cover the display and controls. I just tie knots with the plastic bag corners. Works so well actually 😆

I also noticed you took off the shifter, I would do that too and probably upgrade it with gates carbon belt, (the power goat frame allows it if you take the right suspension off) the question is what is your fix ratio you are using now?
