Buenas tardes ,hoy es 2 Agosto 2024 mi padre en el año 1966 se compro una camioneta for ve 8 a lo que no me quedo en la memoria si era 1935 o 1937 esa camioneta vino con caja de madera y yantas con rayos . Mi padre por supuesto oviamente la compro usada .Quien se la vendio segun le dijo a mi padre que ( quien se la vendio era el dueño numero 3)'y que no sufrio modificadione por ninguno de los dueños . Oviamente que con el paso de los años se le iso ajustes al motor . Me encantaria poder ver alguna ves ese modelo . Siempre miro los miro por Yutub . Gracias

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station fuel pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime :-((

Not likely with such a tiny hole in the lid. About 2 drops per second...cant dump it which is why people have problems. They pour it some gas then start with the container open. Recipe for failure.
The only thing that sounds better than a flat head is too flat heads

That is an unsafe act y'all are committing to start this engine I speak from experience. Put a little gas in it then crank it and repeat until the fuel pump primes the system. I had all the hair burnt off my arm up to the elbow and my hand was on fire by starting a flathead in this manner. Thumbs up on the video.
I do it right. Jar with a lid and a tiny hole. Works perfect
That flame can still go in through that small hole. I recommend an upgrade to an electric fuel pump; safety first.
Agreed. I've seen some.... *exciting* moments result from "hand priming" like this. At the least it might be smart to upgrade to something better than a glass jar. BUT, better than spraying ether all over the place. Saw a guy trying to get his car started on the road side once... he was in the car cranking and yelling instructions to his girlfriend, who was standing in front of the car and spraying ether at the carb. You can imagine how that ended.
What my dad taught me a old Ford guy is to take the air hole pump air in the gas tank cover the gas filler with a rag and pump air in the tank three to four times when you hear the gas tank expand this pushes the fuel up to the fuel pump . Then put very little gas in the carburetor then start the car . Work every time
Hola Sr. Siento decirle que echarle gasolina al carburador con un frasco de vidrio es muy peligroso.con razón ustedes tienen tantos accidentes absurdos. Mejor use una botella de plastico pequeña de cocacola limpia abra un orificio con una puntilla a la tapa llenela con gasolina y echele a la taza del carburador.

@off spec and just what do you expect the fireball to be like if the engine backfires?
