Wonderful video mate. Not very common to see snow in Brighton. Hope you have a pleasant rest of your week.
Thank you
It appears that Brighton has been treated to heavy snow this evening, causing big problems on the buses atm. Surprised everything has not been suspended yet
Has to be very bad across the city for that to happen Certain areas are closed though
@Thebusdriverphotographer Seems like the West side of the city wasn't as bad.
New sub new driver here in USA but same pro and cons god blesd
Thanks hope you enjoy the channel
Happy new year to you and all your subscribers and viewers too, from an edinburgh bus driver🏴❤😀👍
Happy new year
Keep it up homie
Happy new year 💝
Happy new year 🎉
Also have you considered changing garages to Lewis road
I won’t change to lewes road as it would take forever to get to and from work everyday I’m at Conway as it’s the closest and easiest to get to for me
@@Thebusdriverphotographeroh that’s fair eniugh
I have a question do you ever drive the rail replacement busses
I have done in the past not for about 10 years though
Poor audio on this one for some reason. On my phone your voice only comes from the speaker at the top of the phone that is usually reserved esclusively to phone calls.
Yes I noticed this as well tried a different microphone Which I won’t use again
Well done Darren
Can you do a video where you ride Brighton bus route 23 if you find the time
The 23 hey marina to the university maybe in the new year
I have a question when your a bus driver do you get to choose your bus or dose it say on your duty sheet
The buses are allocated So if your signing a bus out you book on get your duty Say I’m on 5s there will be a running number for that service they tell you what bus is allocated for that running number You check the bus and off you go That bus will stay on that running number until it runs in
Oh dear..😳
Love the videos

Some people are just stupid realy and ignora t
Well you're lucky, can't have been London then, as you'd have far more racists there.
Thank you for your video, I think the bus drivers are underpaid compared to train drivers in the UK. I am sure the stress and strain are much higher for bus drivers and they need to be reasonably compensated for that.
Wow what a fountain of wisdom you are You clearly have the mental depth of a puddle
Pathetic video by a belly crawling worm
boring
Im white and i shave my head every 2 weeks with clippers which i have been doing for the last 20yrs and you have just stated twice that white males with cropped hair, people assume we share their Racist views. Talk about stereotyping ??? i find that comment to be Predjudice , and you claim the old women was " Thick " and people say stupid things ???. " Thick " and saying stupid things i think you need to look in the mirror because you have just discribed yourself to a tee after the boring, inaccurate and clueless dribble you have just spouted out. Oh and just for the record i have never had anybody in 20yrs of having cropped hair start chatting to me because they assumed im a Racist or share their Bigoted views which is what you were realy trying to say. 🤫🤫🤫
Zzzzz
You can turn it off or switch to another channel
I always say judge people as you find them as individuals, as there are good and bad in everyone. I absolutely disagree with judging someone purely on their skin tone. But nowadays it's used to shut down any criticism of anyone non white British, even when valid, that is the problem, nobody should be treated differently because of their race etc, but that doesn't mean their beyond reproach or exempt from any criticism either. If someone is wrong then it should be called out, there's nothing wrong with that.
Well said.
You are a good man wish there was more people like you 👍🏼
Thank you I appreciate that
I second that ....and to be fair there is
The word “racism” is an Anti-white slur word that was invented by a Bolshevik called Leon Trotsky in 1927 who killed millions of white Christians…why we give that word so much power is backwards.
Keep your plums in your glasses case by any chance..
its immigrant fatigue and its real. am i racist... yes
❤
anyone that hasnt got the same views as this fella means there bigot,s... this blokes a traitor to britain idiot,,, the patriots of britain would welcome you leaving the country.
somebody talking about racism doesnt mean the person,s a racist... i want all the illegal foriegners and the free loading legal ones out of britain,, doesnt make me racist,, it makes me a patriot,, somebody that puts the british before unwanted foriegners all day,, every day.... the old lady is right 100%,, it is an invasion of our country,, i want em gone,, put the british first, end of.... this bus fella would give our country away to foriegners in a heart beat... he,s one of them traitor leftys! and yes fella you are making yourself look stupid,,, you probly stand in front of your mirror and detest your whiteness!
race is irrelevant .One of my favourite foreigners is Auditing Britain . so if you want him gone , i want you gone . as stamer stated the door is open for you leave at any time .
U R a weather Racist. It aint cold, it's just a Tad Cooler. 😆😆 Be thoughtful when dealing with your elders...... Lots of British lost family members. Several in my two sides of family. AND >>> If things are tight/hard in retirement while others (foreigners) "seem" better off, it may trigger emotional memories!
"You either love 'em or you hate 'em!" "I don't mind 'em." Hahahahaha Anyone else get onto how funny that actually is?
So . . All humans are the same ?? . . Japanese people are highly disciplined hard working people and they are extremely honourable trustworthy people. Now what about Romanian people . . ?? I can safely say they are the total opposite of Japanese people. I’m only using a couple of comparisons just to show how wrong people are when they assume that all people behave the same, because frankly they do not. Culturally we are different depending on the way our ancestors were treated or how they survived throughout the last few 1000 years or so. Some humans have an inbuilt instinct to behave in ways that will clash with other cultures or nationalities.. We are definitely not all the same.. not at all.
"So . . All humans are the same ?? . ." yes the same traits appear in all races . very common for folk to put thier own country on a pedestal and blindly make ludicrous stereotypical claims , you are not going to look me in the eye and say any different are you .
@@EvenBigger-Brother I won’t only look you in the eye.. I will provide data on the statistics which proves that certain “ creeds “ have a higher percentage of difference in behaviour patterns than others . . You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to understand this kind of thing. It’s like saying all dogs are the same.. yes, of course they are dogs, but do you think that an American Pitbull behaves in the same way as a Golden Retriever ?? . . Nope.
its on the rise these days mate, horrifying stuff
What is ?? .. Oh you’re referring to the increasing amount of people who are concerned about our country being inundated with violent disrespectful people who are being treated like royalty.. after arriving here in orange rafts ?? Yeah.. it’s really horrifying when people are concerned about their grandparents being frozen without any heating while these “ visitors “ are given a nice warm fully furnished home and a wad of money each week . . Really horrifying stuff . . ?
@@The-Punch-and-Jewdy-Show your comment really just proves my point and you re so thick you don t even see the irony of it, well done mate
@@The-Punch-and-Jewdy-Show It sounds like you are angry at the wrong people. Everything you've said you're angry with is what the Tories have put in place over the last ten years. Immigrants aren't coming over here and stealing houses and benefits from old people. It's been the policy of the Government. Plus, this bullshit that they get treated really well and get loads of cash and houses is fucking bullshit. You've been reading too much right-wing bullshit. Immigrants get a lot less in benefits than everyone else and they AREN'T ALLOWED to work. Plus they are always on the bottom of housing lists. But you're so naive you think it's people with absolutely nothing and no rights who are the money problem in this country and not the multi-billionaires who have been dodging taxes and stealing huge amounts from the country's wealth to hand out to each other for contracts that never get fulfilled. No, it must be the poorest people who are squandering all those billions. If the Tories have frozen your grandma to death, it's because they have stolen and committed treason to the tune of hundreds of billions and not because an immigrant in a bedsit got a hundred pounds a month to live on.
@@The-Punch-and-Jewdy-Show Agree. Sick of the weakness. At this stage tolerance is not a virtue, it's pathetic compliance with our own demise.
@@Olivia-vn1tf That’s the problem, because people have been emotionally manipulated to stay quiet and when they raise concerns or criticism of the situation then they risk being ridiculed or even punished by financial sanctions etc. We are being walked all over and there’s not much we can do about it.
Try being a dark toned white guy and all the racism you get from people. never mind if I'm 'white' or not.
Brighton is a great city but some of the folk there make Londoners look tame.
What bus company do you work for?
Circumlocutious. 😢
Too many words . Get to the point was my thoughts.
At the end of the day we're a' Jock Tamson's bairns.
Hi, you use the word 'bigoted' one which is often used when talking about racism. The word means an intolerance of another views or beliefs. That could be equally used when talking about someone who isn't prepared to listen to the views of a so-called racist. I find most poeple are tolerant of other skin colours and beliefs, what I think is the problem is other cultures and religions coming here and trying to impose their own beliefs on us, and more usually trying to prevent us from carrying on with our own culture. Why should we not be able to wish each other a 'happy Christmas'? and not be woked into using 'happy festive season' or some other nonsense in case we offend someone of a different belief. Why sould we not be able to carry on our own traditions as we like in our own country, why should we now be descending into having armed police at Christmas markets in case some non-Christian religion is so offended by that he comes at it with a machetti or gun? Let us not beat about the bush, we are talking about Islam. Islam is a religion not a race, so by disliking Islam and what it stands for is by definition not racist. IF someone called you a 'horrible ugly Anglican' they may be offensive, but hardly racist as you could be white British or black African and be Anglican. People who shout racism the loudest seem to forget we native Brits do also have our rights. Rights are not the total reserve of minorities or incomers to this or any other country. Maybe keep some of this in mind before over-using the 'risist' card. When people see Asian people or families, they are most likely taking out their frustration on someone or a group who they see as being partly responsible for our cultural errosion ... keeping in mind that Asian person coule also be Hindu, or Sakh ... but rarely do I hear remarks aimed at those religions - because I suspect they appear and come across as less angry, less confrontational and certainly more respectful of living in a predominantly Christian culture. There of course will be exceptions to this, but by and large it isn't those and other religions which are demanding this and shouting about that.
It depends how you define racism. No culture is above critism including British culture. The problem we have is the word racist is used for just a difference of opinion and it dilutes the word for when applied to the real racists. I'm a patriot who gets called racist because I think all ethnicities should be treated the same and if someone comes to live here for a better life, then they should live how we live etc. To be far until all the critical race theory stuff, most British people dont see colour. Unfortunately the older generation are a product of their upbringing and to be fair to the old bird, it may seem like an invasion(I'm not saying she's right by any means). It's unprecedented times that we live in, in many ways.
I mean this comment is proof we have a long way to go. Sadly Britain was a much more racist society in the past, you basically just admitted to that but dressed it up as a 'product of the older generation'. I have sat with plenty of old folks and heard racist language that to a degree I am happy to let them off for given the environment they grew up in but they absolutely were being racist. And to say that people didn't see colour until the 'critical race theory stuff', seems to completely ignore the experience of people of colour during say up to the end of the colonial era in the 1950s. It wasn't ignored, it was visceral, at times in your face nasty stuff. Critical race theory is something most people wouldn't even have heard of but would understand and likely agree that often racism is a social construct. British people have always seen race, they see a lot more than just race too, they see class. Knowing your place has been an attitude that has pervaded British society for a very long time.
@defined12 I didn't express myself as well as I could have, was busy at the time. What I meant to say was around the 90s, early 2000s we had hit a sweet spot where we almost got most things right, racism, women's rights etc. It wasn't perfect but it could have got there but with most things we didn't know when to stop ie women didn't want equal opportunities, they had to hate men. DEI started out as a good thing but turned to crap. I didn't say the lady didn't say anything wrong, just that she was a product of her upbringing. Which infers that it had been a problem in the past. The fact that the UK is in the top 3 least racist countries in the world, should be testament to how far we had come. Class has always been a real issue here, with that we agree
Learn to be “racist”, it will save you.
@@defined12nonsense , we are facing replacement and you’re concerned over the hurt feelings of a word they dont like???? Eugh
@@defined12great comment the rasists are sly with their comments
Picks on auld wummin....brave man. We are being invaded.....you're the bigot.
The most racist people are the ones always going on about racism.
The kkkoran IS violent. As a Christian I find this a little disingenuous. It’s not bigoted to be horrified by a book which advocates child “marriage, slavery and murder.
I have met people from traveller backgrounds who are the most racist, homophobic people but are the first to cry racism if it is directed at them!
So true. They are the ones who get filmed coming out of someone's house they just robbed and telling them they are going to get stabbed to death if they phone the police and as soon as the police come there's a hundred of them outside screaming how it's all racists towards them for being travellers. No mate, it's not because you're a traveller, it's because you've burgled every house in the town and stabbed four people. And for people who claim to be "travellers" it's hard to get them back on their travels.
Based if true.
