How to Prepare and Sew Ruffles on a Yoke
Thank you!!! I tried so many times and I finally found the hole at the last step that I could not imagine in my head. Great tutorial!
idk how i did that but i did😂😅 perfect tutorial
Thank you! I love your boys vest pattern btw, best way to construct a lined vest I've found so far!
Perfect thank you so much ❤
I have to watch this again. So amazing. I am wondering how did the needle know where the holes were on the button. Yeap, I have to stay focused and only do one thing at a time. I am going to rewatch this at least 5 more times and take notes. Thanks darling this is a very helpful video
Oh god this is the first time I succeeded to tie a bow, thank you very muchh
Makasih
This is a really amazing tutorial!
Width of elastic?
This was so helpful!!
Works every time 👌🏽
Next time, take more time to show how you set your serger up for a flatlock stitch in the first place. It would've been a lot more helpful that way. If you're going to post something on You Tube, take the time to show AND explain what you're doing. Don't rush it.
ok but the rialto has an extra bodice section !!! arg lol
This is exactly what I was trying to understand! Thanks!
Wow, i shouldve watched this first before cutting mine. Ty
I don't like it
Sorry the music too much l left the site
Why do you not stitch the folded part over at the end with a stretch stitch? Won’t this straight stitch pop if not a stretch stitch? Also helpful to have a pressor foot that guides the stitch distance from a guide that rides along an edge of the fabric and you can position your needle to the left of it. Or serge the folded over in half binding to the neck and then press, edge stitch with a stretch stitch 1/8” from the edge using a pressor foot to guild you. This is such a visible area for wavy uneven topstitching
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I am going to try it. The pattern I bought does not have a snap opening for a diaper.
The two patterns I have that require a snap panel are sadly from other shops, bought before I knew Little Lizard King existed. This explanation is AMAZING!!! I was so frustrated and ready to give up. Thank you for sharing! Add it to the list of reasons I will keep buying from Little Lizard King!
This is the best sash tying reference video.
Great video. Thank you!
I've always had difficulty with placing the buttonhole foot on fabric, I'm v e r y grateful for this video. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ ❤❤❤
It's better than the way I've been doing mine! I do apply interfacing within the limits of the seam allowance to help reinforce the snap areas!
This was so easy and helpful! I’ve gone my entire life just struggling and having ugly bows. Thank you!!! ❤
are these seams technically called french seams? I'm trying to understand what french seams are and if this is the same? Thank you!
Not really. A French seam (as I understand them) puts two pieces of fabric together side-by-side. They also result in a small 1/4 or so ‘tag’ of the seam standing perpendicular to the 2 pieces you just joined. I guess you could sew that part down as well, at which point it would look similar to a flat felled seam finish. If you’re trying to work out how a French seam works try doing a few samples with some scraps. I have done two pieces now with French seams and I still have to think about them. Something about sewing the first go with wrong sides together confuses my brain I think. They do get easier with practice and are actually not too hard.
Can someone tell me how big should I got the bais? I am beginner at sewing.
Thank you so much after so many tutorials this one finally was able to convey what I needed to understand omg. Also thank you for adding subtitles so that I could take the time to understand the instructions ahhhhh❤❤❤❤❤
If I wanted to order and print out a pattern how do I do that?
The best bow tying video! Thank you
Oh my gosh I needed this so badly. Thank you for this super clear tutorial.
This is the BEST sash bow tutorial!! Super clear and easy to follow. I’d watched a few different ones and they either went to fast or I got lost on a step because I didn’t see a step they were doing. Thank you SO MUCH for your clear and informative video😁
I can't understand this videp
Thank you! I love how you have 2 diff colors so we can tell what's going on too.
This tutorial is good when used in conjunction with a couple other ones. Here she shows how to sew a few different versions of flatlock stitch: ruclips.net/video/y0h-iUgKdzk/видео.html and here she tells you how to adjust tension on a Brother serger ruclips.net/video/vITyDS-4-nI/видео.html. I don't think a blind hem foot she demonstrates is actually needed bc you can turn off the knife on the side of a Brother serger which still helps as a guide.
Just to be sure: you can't do this with a regular sewing machine right? Bought leggings from this company and all the flatlock seams are coming apart, but I don't have a serger. :(
Muy bien.. Si.. Si.. Así se enseña... Nadie lo había enseñado de esta manera...
If we use a serger to gather, do we need to disengage the blade?
Beat now video on the internet. And I had to watch a bunch of them! Thank you!
Thank youu! Great video. Loved the details.
I got it. Thanks a lot.
I tried this on my niece's dresses when she was a little girl. Never could get it right without the bow ending up crooked.
❤ A new challenge 😅
I finally got it, thanks to you ❤❤❤
Amazing!!!!! I watched this one and a half times and got it 😍🫡❤🏆 thank you for an amazing tutorial!!
Thank you for demonstrating on an average home sewing machine!! Not a $1000+ machine.
Thank you so much, simple and easy instructions, I was able to follow along with the video.
Your videos are so well made and easy to follow
Thanks you so much! This is by far the best video I’ve watched and easiest to follow. 😘❤️
I just watched this video and it was a life saver!!! Although adding some stabilizer is a must!! I followed your video easily and will use this technique from now on!! Thank you for sharing
