Ariens Belt Replacement
Просмотров 8 тыс.9 лет назад
Ariens Model 922016 Belt Replacement Video. Last winter we had so much deep snow that I overworked the snow blower and fried the belts. If the discharge is coming out slow and slushy get the shovel as these things are made to throw only snow not slush. When I dug out the snow plow wall in the street she stopped working as the blower belt disintegrated. I hope this helps you with yours. Feel fre...

Halloween 2012

Just a lil video of our Halloween decorations 2012 and the dog dressed up in a bee costume. It was very cold out but tolerable, no wind. This is a couple of days after the hurricane Sandy hit the east coast and the winds we got hit with here in NW Indiana kept us from putting up all the cool stuff. This was the first day in over 2 weeks that there was no high winds. Super clear starry night, no...

Digimax expansion for Cobra 2000 assembly
Does your email still work tofind out more how to obtain one from you?
Yes it does. I replied earlier but I see it did not post to the thread.
What happened to you brother?
Just busy. I go off in many directions.
Real nice work man! Very resourceful.
Do you make repairs on these units if they are shipped to you?
It depends on what problem your having with it.
Two of my tuning gears are cracked. Do you know where I could find them?
I have never had to replace them. The only thing that comes to mind is to take them to a local machine shop and see if they would make them for you. I don't use or promote Facebook but if you join the machinist group you could go there and see if one of the guys on there will make them for you cheaper than a machine shop. That's a tough one. Try googling the unit and the problem and you might find someone that figured it out or found a substitute gear. That's a tough one.
I know one guy epoxied or glued his back together with crazy glue.
Brake line good idea great video thanks!
Hi, what kind of material do you use to make the barrel
Steel
@@richg.2579 no shit, what kind
Looks like a ham sandwich with all those chips! Lol. Great video. Enjoyed watching the lathe work!
Thank you
How about a Threaded Barrel? 45ACP www.ebay.com/itm/Chamber-REAMER-45acp/264906467152?hash=item3dada7e750:g:PIQAAOSwORFfjt1t
How do you figure that the steel doesn't have iron, when iron is the key element of all types of steel? And also how do you know it's Chinese when that design is Japanese?
How about a 45ACP Conversion?
45 acp not atf approved nope
any idea what to set that binary code thing for on the 2000? thanks
It's a steel coated alloy
Copper wire is not really strong enough for a long antenna run. I use copper-clad steel wire. My longwire is 85 feet and it is tensioned by a 12 pound window weight at the far end.
What part of the United States is this? Trees seems stunted in growth.
Thank you for posting/sharing your knowledge, i was wondering if there is a way to ground the antenna wire, unless i am not seeing something, can you help me out, thanks in advance. Liked your brake line trick.
The ground connection on the back of the receiver needs to go to an earth ground on these radios to avoid electrical interference and boost reception. I use two grounds the coax to ground stake and an extra ground from the ground screw on the back of the set.
On my long wire antennas, heavy or light wire, at the far end, I'd usually mount an insulator and another metal cable or wire section and then feed it through a clothes line pulley mounted to the tree, then I'd suspend a weight at the end of the cable. Since Pine trees sway in the winds it was always a problem with the wire being pulled too tight.. The weight, usually a piece of fire wood or a brick, would move up and down as the tree swayed, and the whole antenna would stay as straight as possible for it's whole horizontal length. Even freezing rain would not let the antenna droop. or stress it unless it was a temporary one made of lighter wire..
My longest antenna was about 400 feet long. with a second 100 foot section opposite the center point.
Any healthy kids can wreck a metal futon in no time flat... adults too.
You either need a better camera or turn on auto focus...
You could change that screw that is hard to get to...to a small bolt head screw, or an allen head screw to make it easier..
Im new and confused. What are the circumstances under which you ground or not ground an antenna?
I use 14 gauge speaker wire. You can get 200 feet out of a 100 foot roll and it lasts a long time. Vy 73s es gud dx OM!
Is this the belt for the blades
see only your hand
how can i put legs on my futon to stableize it so one can sleep on it open with out falling out or over
wow you the same shity one I have..my henges bent the mattress was too thick
Hello, Are you still able and willing to produce anymore bfong barrels for the Sten MKII?
Yes
Lol
focus the camera
how did you come up with the .140 size vent hole ?
Simple ammo manufacturers reccomendation
Thanks for this video, I wondered how you earthed the coax, this is what I was going to do. Thanks for posting.
Forget the technical stuff..............this guy put in some funny dialogue here and there......... I'll have to watch this a few more times just to build one of these myself.
did u do the ppsh 41 video ?
never got to the ppsh 41 video
If you would like me to make one of these for you e-mail me at heervint@yahoo.com
hey where are your other videos for the led readout
Well.....thanks for the tips etc. but this video does not show exactly what you did to repair the preselector and so is not helpful for that. I have a dx-300 with the same problem and I'm sure others do too and would like more detailed information.
Darrell, I just put some penetrating oil on the gear wheels of the preselector and it worked fine; but the calibration will probably be off a bit. It's a common problem with the DX-300. /s/ Todd Myers
Hello again Circuit Domain. This kit was a pleasure to build and feel free to use this link to help or guide your customers thru the assembly process. If I can get ahold of one of the new kits I will make another video of the process for you also. Rich
Great video. Thank you for sharing your experience with DigiMax Lite on here. I am just browsing and have noticed your video clip. I haven't had much time to produce an official video of assembly process yet. I am just about to release V2.xx of DigiMax Lite with full support for BCD PLL chips (uPD858, uPD2824 etc) as well as all the binary chips already supported by V1.2 I would like you to be in the running for 1 of 10 free V2.xx kits. If you are interested then please email me on Sales@CircuitDomain.com
The ground connection on the back of the receiver needs to go to an earth ground on these radios to avoid electrical interference and boost reception. I use two grounds the coax to ground stake and an extra ground from the ground screw on the back of the set.
Would grounding receiver accomplish the same thing as running a ground wire from the coax?
I had this installed in my cobra2000 I ordered the pre built version it is awesome the guy did a great job engineering this thing my teck said it was easier than the les com to install.
I have been using this radio for over a year now and the only bad thing I noticed was this winter. Warm the room up for a long time and prewarm the radio for an hour on standby before you try to adjust the preselect as it is very stiff in the cold and will go out of adjustment or it may break if you turn or force it. I know this as my cold garage is my shop and I don't always use the wood stove out there unless its very cold.
The antenna has been up for over a year now and absolutely no problems with it. Using the tarp straps save me this winter when the heavy snow pushed the tree limbs down. This is one awesome durable, weather resistant, trouble free antenna.
100 ft long wire...yeah...73s...
Hay see what you think of this, I went down to Ace hard wear and picked up a 150ft spool of plastic coated twisty tie (didn't say what gauge but had 5ohm end to end and very light and strong, no middle connection), that spool of wire cost 4.49$ and simplified every thing a lot and was 150ft long too boot. Just saying, 73s KD7YKR
I took FEDEX to court and won when they damaged my item...
Deliveries gone wild
I have had really great Luck with the USPS ?
and ruined a BNC
USPS dropped my scope on its face, the voltage per division controls were completely inside of the scope, and a knob ripped through the box, it also cracked three out of four corners and bent several of the controls, don't ship USPS either.
