This is surreal and amazing. I always loved this game no matter what anybody else says and to see it get this glow up feels like what the Saturn release should have been like to begin with.

I knew it was only a matter of time before people would turn Sonic Jam's world hub into a full game. It's the Saturn era 3D sonic we always wanted but never got. I hope this project continues with more levels to come. Wish you luck!

1) The animation when running forward at max speed needs to have sonic tilt his head forward just a bit; he's running with a too straight of a body position as is. 2)Also, he needs to have his body bob up and down a tiny bit more, so as to not look like he's just sliding/floating through the ground 3) When running at max speed, the foot going forward needs to go forward more, as if the leg really is reaching forward Other than that, congratulations!!! It's looking great. I hope you continue working more and more on this project. And if the end of this video is anything to go by, it would be cool if you also did some SA1 hub worlds in this low-poly style and connected them to Jam, showing how a hypothetical Saturn Sonic using Jam's engine could have looked like (but with the niceties of the modern age, like a higher frame rate and no texture warping) (Another super cool *nostalgiamaxxed* idea would be to remaster Sonic R's maps with this engine)

I was hoping someone made an entire game out of the Sonic World stuff from Sonic Jam. I am disappointed that this is not the case.

Is this a remake in Unity or Unreal, or is it using Sonic Adventure's engine to do all this?

Brilliant idea to scroll the Ring icon on the montor! I was wondering how to show the 10 Ring power-up for a while now. Unless this was already a feature in Jam, in which case I definitely need to study this game further 😅

In the US it's not called Sonic 3D Flickies' Island.. it's just called Sonic 3D Blast.

I hope this project goes somewhere and gives me a reason to play sonic 3d blast outside of the dx patch from the director of the game

I think there should be an option to enable some sort of 2d sprites similar to how sonic robo blast 2 works. However it would take a long time to make all of those sprites so I wouldn't expect it to happen.
