YT has been recommending me some small but golden channels recently, one of my favorites are yours and another one gaming related that goes by the name Rubyfallz. Looks like they currently have 1.22K subs but when I subscribed to them it was just a 3 digit number, like maybe 300 something. Found them from another video who mentioned them so I suspect a lot of people came from this video and the number got increased. I wasn't in such a good mood lately, I had no motivation to do anything, I felt nothing when doing things, like not feeling happy doing things that I normally like, or not feeling bummed down by having to do something that I don't like doing, but for some reason when I came across yours and that other channel I mentioned, for some reason it made me feel a lot better, specifically your video about collecting stuff and Rubyfallz video on a game called Chulip

This just unearthed a memory of reading the 1st Amulet book in elementary school. I never got my hands on the rest of the series and honestly don’t remember how I got the first one

I read Amulet back in elementary school! I only has access to the 1st and the 3rd via my middle school library and never found the other ones anywhere else so I never read them all lol

this video is very comforting to me as a collector. recent talk of overconsumption on social media has led me to feel guilty about how much i own and continue to buy. while i do think it is an important conversation a lot of content out there feels denigrative. i collect lego, books, manga, figures, vinyl, and video games :-)

For me, part of the fun of collecting isnt just cultivating something you love, but also the Thrill of the Hunt. I try my damnedest not to order stuff online & its makes it more memorable to find something you love; or even something you didn't know you'd love til you get it (esp as a record collector)
