You make great coffee, you’re a master of grinding and technique :D This little portable coffee maker is just a tool. ;) It’s a unique coffee maker for its price range, and it’s still part of my coffee gear collection. I don’t use it often, but when I do, I’m always happy with the result. Like you, I’m a simple soul who doesn’t overthink coffee. ;)

Sometimes in the middle of steaming, it loses pressure and needs a few seconds to continue. This happens with or without a water filter and usually occurs when I steam a large amount of milk (for 4 cups or more). Do you have hard water in your area? Did you try to descale the machine?

Yes it happend after 1 year daily 1-2 using it. The reseller refund me the money so i bought a better one the df83 v2 but after 3 months with the new one i bought the weber eg1. This is my tip for all: get the best you can buy otherwise you will buy twice tripple...the Espresso machine is not so important as a well working grinder.

Ohh yes... 😂 I also have to add i used the kitchen aid grinder in the beginning with a pressurised basket on an delonghi ec 680. As i started using a nirmal espresso basket the grinder was not useful anymore. Than the journey began... 😅with a profitec go 100 (sold)... Rancilio silvia moded for pressure profiling with ito leva!...la pavoni europiccola now I am satisfied ❤

I've seen good reviews about it. Do you use it as you main grinder?

@@poorguyscoffee I use K4 at home and K6 at work. Both are great. And with the top adjustment it is very easy to change settings. K4 is a little faster than K6 at espresso grind size but it is not sold anymore. K6 is more all rounder more uniform a little slower but not that much. They are very similar to more expensive hand grinder like 1zpresso. Hand grinder are great for single dosing. But a little painful to use when you do more than 1 or 2 caffee per day though.

Yeah I did that just like you did in the video and I did it agian to make sure and it told me java was up to date

@@poorguyscoffee after i checked to make sure java was installed i stopped cause i had to go out of town.i wasnt sure how i should open the file/folder since its not giving me the same option as you in your video.im at the step when you opened the forge file with java but its not giving me that option to open with java

Ubuntu GUI already comes with Firefox browser, but you can easily install Chrome if you're more familiar with it. While I'm not sure if there's a way to control Ubuntu directly through a browser, there are a few methods you can use to manage your server remotely. One straightforward way is to establish an SSH connection using PuTTY and then run the "sudo shutdown now" command to turn off your PC when needed. This is how I usually manage mine. Also wondering after ive done a shut and restart it to play agian will the server automatically spool back up?

No, it won't start automatically. You need to start it manually every time you boot the server. However, there are a few scripts that you can use to start the service on boot. Here is one example: minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Tutorials/Ubuntu_startup_script. I haven't played with that yet because mine runs 24/7, and I haven't felt the need to automate the startup. The terminal remembers your last commands, so all you need to do is press the up arrow a few times :)

In this tiny 51mm basket around 11-12 grams. Depends on roast. But usually 12g.

@@MikeSW. With the Dedica, 51mm sized head? I've ordered 2-cup baskets but can only fill 12-13 grams into them. I also have 4-cup basket, which isn't really optimal...

@@poorguyscoffee yeah on a Joe Frex bottomless portafilter. Always 18 grams and if the beans are 2 weeks old half the cup is just crema. I have a funnel tho and after wdt I tap it on the counter for the coffee to settle then remove the funnel and tamp. You'll have to play with the grind settings tho

Just water to avoid grinding mess because of all the static produced.
