For the cost of everything and ease of install, it really does sound amazing! Is this the best value exhaust setup for the Mazda 3? Let me know in the comments! 00:00...
Best handling upgrade for Mazda 3? Progress Tech rear sway bar install (w/ front poly bushings)!
Просмотров 857Год назад
If you want an easy and inexpensive way to upgrade your Mazda 3's handling, then watch this! While the Mazda 3 on its own handles very well compared to its competition, it does has one major flaw: The rear sway bar is too weak, which makes for an unstable car at the rear during high speed maneuvers, which can create a car that tends to understeer. In this video, I show you how to fix this issue...

How To Install An Oil Catch Can (2013 Mazda 3)

In this video I show you how to install an oil catch can in you car or truck. An oil catch can is a collecting device that collects excess oil from piston blowby from the PCV system. It is connected by inlet and outlet hoses that go from the PCV valve into the intake manifold. Modern engines come equipped with a PCV system that routes all of the gasses and oil from the crankcase back into the i...

Great video
If its outa warranty, just disconnect and vent to the atmosphere . Plug the spot ware it hooks to your intake manifold. Screw the oil catch can. Im in a winter wonderland and catch cans dont work well here 7 months a yesr. Just do a direct atmosphere vent and done. Carbon deposit are 90% gone.
I made my resonator intake to the airbox to 60 mm ,then I inserted alloy piping with 62 mm silicone piping over the piping to hold it from slipping out ,then I added 60 to 80 mm silicone hosing to the alloy piping ,then i added a 80 mm alloy piping ,then I added a 80 to 100 silicone hose to the end to give a better intake to the airbox
did you also delete the resonator? and is that already what is sounds like with cats? or catless?
@@georgemeyer8221 Resonator and cats are still there.
Try going LED, I reckon you won't be going back to halogens 😂
In my 1st and 2nd truck I ran 10k and 8k hids. Then my 3 truck I ran Sylvania h11 since they fit my Silverado. But after all I went straight to halogen..... Reason why is because everyone is running less and I don't like to have the same look that everyone has. Ok good using the Sylvania silver star ultra.... But when I can't find none I use Philips crystal Vision. Those are the 2 best halogen bulbs I tried
K&N oil is bad for the MAF sensor just use a dry paper air filter
I've heard about this many times before. However, in my experience I have not had any issues yet. Going strong for two years with proper cleaning and oiling👍.
They don't filter well either, and restrict air flow probably one of the poorest filters you can put on it
It does look like your headlight needs polish. I can see it is a little fuzzy and this usually manifest much more at night because the fuzziness diffuse the light. If you clean the lens, it can concentrate and you should see a better and brighter light pattern.
I did end up getting the headlights polished. However, even then there was a clear difference between the two bulbs. But you are correct on that.
Hi everyone! I forgot to include the torque specs for the bolts and nuts. Here is the info you need: For the two lower bolts: 90 Nm or 66 ft.lbs. For the three or two nuts on the engine: 100 Nm or 74 ft.lbs.
Great video
you did a good job, however that flex pipe will fall apart in about 3 to 6 months it is better to use exhaust pipe for all of it.
I haven't had any problems with it, but I'll keep an eye out.
Where did you get the urethane inserts?
Here is the company. I also bought my sway bar bushings from them. www.nolathane.com
Anybody have the torque specs for the bolts?
I managed to find the torque specs if you still need them. The info is in a pinned comment on the video.
@@vitok-20 You're awesome! Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback. This is why I posted this. Now you know.
What are the torque specs for the nuts and bolts? I have a 2013 skyactiv automatic Transmission and i am finding it hard to find torque specs. Thanks
I managed to find the torque specs if you still need them. Seems to be the same for both MT/AT. The info is in a pinned comment on the video.
@vitok-20 Sure ya I will take them.
For those wondering this also fits sky activ automatic transmission, the part number is: BFD1-39-060
Thanks for confirming!
Great analysis at the end. I'm considering the Progress 22 mm RSB for my stock '09 Accord coupe. Not looking to go on the track or anything, just looking for greater responsiveness, stability and a tighter feeling on these CO mountain roads! Do you think it might be a good fit?
Absolutely!
@@vitok-20 Just popped it in this past weekend, can't believe the difference!
Good to hear. Have fun!
Hey guys just letting you know that I fixed the chain skipping issue and upgraded the saddle! Here's a link to that video: ruclips.net/video/Po0pJD5ID2I/видео.html
Does this kit be installed on a 2019 Mazda sport cx3 ?
It's a universal catch can, but I will say that the location for the PCV is going to be the same on your CX-3.
Hey man, can you do a fuel injector replacement video?
If that day comes then sure.
Nice tutorial bro
been using those catch cans for years, works best with stainless steel scrubbing pad inside
That's how I personally run mine.
Hey man! Just about to buy a new to me used Mazda 3 2012 skyactive and found your videos, do you have any social media where to hit you up and talk a bit more about the mazda 3 skyactive specifically?
Sure. @vito_k._20 on Instagram.
I just bought this exact car with the 6 speed manual. Great car!
👍🏾
Did you turn the engine to close the 4th valve?
what about exhaust note did it make any difference?
Not really.
Great video, keep it up!!
Would this video work for a Mazda 6 as well?
You got a really good deal, paid $470. For mine a couple of weeks ago it's November 25th and they didn't even lower the price for black Friday.
Every one wants this bike.
That's a really good idea to put tape on your bike to protect the frame, I'll be doing the same to my new axum.
I have the same bike just watched your other video and I can't believe you're still using that same saddle, it's terrible. I changed mine after the first week of riding mine. My chain drops every once and a while to but other than that this bike is still the best bike I've ever had.
I bought my axum last week and I love it I got a new seat just yesterday because as you said the one it comes with is very uncomfortable. I injoyed your trail video shots and I will be making my own videos of the trails that I will be riding on. Nothing to crazy because I'm a new rider and in my late 50s and like by body to stay in the unbroken but we'll worn state it's in😊.
Very good video. Easy to understand. Two questions. I have the exact car. What size screw did you use to attach the bracket to the car? And what do I torque the manifold bolts to? Thank you in advance.
The screw I used is a 10 mm. I do not remember the thread gap however. If I were you I would take the original bolt that's there and match it with something that is slightly longer at your hardware store so that the bracket can mount to the frame; that's what I did. As for the intake manifold, the torque specs are the same for all bolts: 33 ft-lbs. or 44.5 Nm.
I see schwinn really went all out on the tire size lol, 2.60 with barely any room left on that rear tire. Beefy tires are nice but personally atleast on the rear I'd probably size down to a 2.50 or 2.40 just so there's a bit more room so the seat tube isn't caked with mud. It was a great idea to add that frame protector film on the seat tube.
Yeah they really went all out with the tire size.
That saddle and the bars were the first things I replaced.
I changed my seat after the first week, the handle bars are ok, I like them.
@@CleoCoal I kinda replaced everything....except the frame.
I have a Schwinn Axum 1-8 speed it’s dropper post ready mine is the blackish gray color with gold sparkles? Inside the paint absolutely love this bike. We have the same bike but mines a different color for the price of the bike. I think it’s a awesome value. Yes I agree the bike seat there’s not much comfort in it If you know what I mean, you should just go to Walmart and get a bicycle seat gel cover. And put that on you’re gonna be happy with it. The bike is very very fast. I love the big fat tires. It’s really good for a grip. Great video my friend.
I have the same frame. I've really upgraded mine though.
I've got the same one had it for about two weeks now. Love it . Got rid of the seat after the first week and it's been a joy to ride.
Are there changes from earlier than 2023 year models of the Axum DP? Also are Schwinn bikes still available direct from Schwinn? I know they ship free. The web generally only says where retail stores carry this bike.
There seems to be no changes to the Axums for 2023. The Axum is a Walmart exclusive, so no, you can't order directly from Schwinn.
@@vitok-20 I wish Schwinn would offer just frames so I can get a 17in Axum frame
The derailleur is junk on the axum bike. Mine broke on day one after dropping the chain. Cost me another $200 to take it to a bike shop to be fixed
I had to replace my derailleur and had to buy a matching cassette for the new derailleur. I actually like the new cassette better.
Only dropped the chain a couple of times but once is too many, I am having so much fun with this bike that I don't want to waste riding time wateing for the shop to replace something that hasn't become a problem yet but I changed that horrible seat after the first week.
Sounds a whole lot better. I was wondering if I could do it without removing the front bumper. So excited to do this thank you!
You can! Just remove the screws holding the left fender liner to the front bumper and it's easily accessible.
You have a link to the oil catch can you used?

Can I put one in a jeep?
Yes
Can u take out front tyres out easily? I want to remove them n put inside car
Yes the front wheel is a quick release axle.
That's a nice trail. Where is it?
It's a Mazda 3 bro, not a race car.
Is still a car faster than u
@OdinRodriguez-c1u ummm, I have a mazda3 also, but with the bigger motor sooo I’m faster 😝
It needs a clutch........They put them on cheaper bikes why not this one.
I slice the box and use it to work on to save my knees and the paint....I replaced the pedals with Fooker pedals.
I CANNOT find the size M version anywhere. All I found was size L which is too big.
Here is the Internet link to the medium-frame DP model. They don't make a medium-framed base model. If you are trying to find one inside a Walmart store, Axums are known to be very hard to find. I would just order one online. www.walmart.com/ip/Schwinn-29-in-Axum-DP-Mens-Mountain-Bike-Blue-17-in-Frame/793547014?athcpid=793547014&athpgid=AthenaItempage&athcgid=null&athznid=si&athieid=v0&athstid=CS004&athguid=3ktwQXdEsDjNiLvEzblZ3db7aRLLCbZZ3pC5&athancid=288838682&athena=true
@@vitok-20 Oh. OK. Thanks. I’ll just forget it at this point.
I took a hacksaw to cut the size of the seat down to fit me better.
@@Randy-ry9ss That wasn’t my problem. The frame itself was too big. I couldn’t safely straddle it.
@@bikdav the Kent Trouvaille comes in a medium frame.......The Schwinn Boundary is also a great choice
Great vid, let's get rowdy!!🔥
What size bike did you get?
The large, which is the 19 inch frame.
@VitoK-22 what's your height? I'm 5.5 and can't find one of them on size medium. Do you think a large would be ok for me?
@@samochoa6733 I'm over 5'11" and this bike fits me perfect but for anyone shorter I would not recommend at all. Here is a link to the DP model in the 17 inch frame which should fit you much better.
