it doesn't matter what company it is, its just some drivers simply don't like having being filmed by people all the time which is an absurd way of thinking considering the uk is absolutely littered with cctv and cameras

As someone that's been round railway most my young life with my dad not long retired from being a train driver and would go to work with him almost every day a drive can lose his or her job for these things I mean guy that says about sticking fingers up or they can be removed from the train but also remember it's a very stressful job and I've seen some people acting like twats round the platform and flash on camera is bad idea

No wonder. The modern trainspotters these days (12-21 year olds mostly and the odd few with learning difficulties) behave like total nations on the stations and these drivers have to put it with it along with other members of staff. He shouldn’t have shouted at you but perhaps this driver has had a fair share of concerning individuals to deal with before?

Thanks for uploading this video, apart from the situation that happened with you and the driver, which is unfortunate it happened and if they really are hiring drivers who don't like trains potters, then they are in the wrong job I think to be honest. The company is in the wrong for hiring staff that can't understand this, its none of their business really whether you are doing it or not, its a free country and you should be allowed to film on any platform and trainspot if thats something you would really like to do. Its up to you to you what you do as long as you are following the laws and rules set. Also, thanks for uploading, and sharing, have both Liked & Subscribed and look forward to seeing more videos related to trains & maybe this? 😀👍

The prat, doesn't this driver know that this hobby of trainspotting has been going on since more than likely Railways first started, when I was a teenager in the Sixties and a train spotter, drivers used to talk with you, explain things and sometimes let you in their cabs or if you were lucky a ride to the next station in their cab. I think this driver needs to get a life and get on with his Job.

I got a driver at Colchester telling me off for 'filming him' when all I wanted to film was the trains arriving and coupling before departing for Liverpool Street, he even called my setup distracting, when it was nowhere near the platform edge :( Most railway staff are the best but some just ruin it.

Think you need to toughen up mate, so what . If he does not like trainspotters that is also his right, dont be so easily offended. We are entitled to offend you know and putting this on here shows that you are not happy with that. people will say things throughout your life you may not like just ignore them , not something to make an issue over.
