Bro whats the deal with people lm the i internet. I personally think EPD is a great department i see them around all the time (i'm from eugene and have lived here my whole life) and always see them helping people and being freindly and helpful and interacting with the community. Im a boy-scout and do parking at the football stadium and i've sadly never been able to interact much with epd officers but from the interactions i've had they are always very friendly. ( this is my personal experience with epd and i've seen and heard very good things about E.P.D from people I know and people of the public but this is most likely not the same for other people)

Officer Robert Rosales is yet another "cowboy" officer. Years ago I got pulled over for speeding, admittedly my fault, and they released his dashcam footage. To my shock, he sped around and cut off drivers, driving erratically, and endangering people's lives without his emergency lights on. I had my attorney review the footage and he just shook his head and said I could report him, but nothing would become of it because police generally are not accountable for these actions. He needs to be terminated immediately.

So the EPD made a slick video about what selfless heroes they are. In it they harass homeless people and complain about how hard it is to be a cop. You complain about being dehumanized but you refer to the human beings whose lives you ruin as "custodies". It's not that we can't get past your uniform, it's that you people can't get past your uniforms. You all chose to be on that side of the "blue wall". You all chose the life of cops vs the world, of constant us vs them. You chose a life of dehumanizing people. You can't put people in cages, knowing full well that many of them will be doomed to lives worse than animals and complain about how you are dehumanized.
