The free spaces in the decklist can be anything you want, my brother. My usual picks are: Maxx C, Ash, Imperm, Called By, and Crossout; and sometimes I randomly add: Nibiru, Veiler, Harpies Feather, Magnamhut + Druiswurm. Also, the Weeping Idol is a good bridge for many handtraps, and in the extra deck I use Raider’s Knight and Arc Rebellion. Hope that helps! Cheers!

I’ll say 3 Simoon is a must. Sudri is the real MVP, but Simoon is another starter that takes you to it (and Black Whirlwind). I'll also say Gale is optional, unless you're running many Lv-7 Synchro. Lv-2 tuner are more popular in recent builds (Vata, Sharnga).

Yes, you can! In the Simoon + Extender combo versions, you could replace Full Armor Master with a 3rd Assault BW Dragon. For the Spell version, you use Lv.2 Boreastorm with BW Dragon (8:51) to make the Assault Dragon. For the Monster Extender version, you make Dis Pater with Sharnga, instead of Boreastorm (10:00), then you use the saved Lv.2 Boreastorm with BW Dragon (10:10) to make the extra Assault Dragon. You're right (good catch)!. You usually have to decide between milling Shamal to recycle Chinook, once Twin Shadow resolves, or go for Sharnga; so, choose between negate or destroy. However, as you mentioned, in the scenario where you already have Chinook, or it is summoned back to the field (with BFW), you definitely should mill Sharnga to have both disruptions. Sorry, I thought you asked if it could activate more than once. Yes, the card is “soft” once per turn. So, the card’s effect can be used again if BFW is removed from the field and then activated again, in the same turn. It is similar as activating a second copy of the card.

Sorry for not posting it in the video. I based my deck on this Edison format's list: www.formatlibrary.com/decks/39225 Some cards were different in the banlist for the event, or required UR dust. I replaced those with other staples or budget options, but I pretty much used the same monsters and 'Icarus Attack' ratios. I also ran 1 Vayu and 1 Foolish Burial to mill it (never happened, though). Yes, I agree. I think a Winged Beast ROTA/Bonfire, or a Field Spell that searches for a Blackwing name would be good. Simoon is good, but not enough. We deserve a few more searchers.

@@dimitrisspiridonidis3284 Neither you nor the opponent can respond/chain to DRNM directly with monster effects (specifically); but, you can respond with a Spell or Trap (Chain 2), then target it and negate with Hot RDA (Chain 3).

Hi! You can use a Dark or Light non-tuner monster as a tuner replacement, as long as the monsters used to synchro add up to Lv 10. The Extra Deck will glow when the criteria is met.

From the first duel, Expurrely Noir. From the second, Dark Armed the Dragon of Annihilation. From the last one, Kashtira Arise-Heart.

I stopped using Bystials in the main deck as (in my humble opinion) they were hurting the deck's consistency. I use Accel Synchron and Stardust Synchron for the Light+Dark Angel combo in my deck, and I like it. The Accel Synchro Stardust Dragon I only use for the King Calamity and Crimson Dragon combo, but I think it uses too much resources for a mid-size board. Also, I started using Baronne, which does help when you're not locked into Dark only, specially on Turn 3. With Dis Pater and B.F.Whirlwind it's usually easy to summon by re-using resources. In this format, Imperm and Veiler are probably the best handtraps for the Snake-Eyes matchup. As for Blackwing, they would be hurt by Droll or a well-timed Nibiru, but I think BW can easily play through Ash and Imperm (with a good hand). And nobody wants to get Maxx'C'd, ofc. Cheers!

@@princeKazma thanks for your opinion and i saw the light+dark angel combo video + Kali yuga one and this one ofc :) Bystials might not as good in this fire meta anyway. Freestyling with Dispater and B.F. Whirlwind is pretty nice yea I agree that for BW Ash and imperm are not a problem, especially if the opponent dont time them well and also is able to play through disruptions. Snake-Eyes has tons of one card starters, really not easy but makes sense as it is tier 0. I struggle much more against Lab. Also thank you a lot for the guides, i used to play blackwing in like 2011 and felt like playing them again, so this helped a lot. Took a lot of solo testing on edopro and master duel, but now i got it ;D Although i feel like this meta is pretty crazy and not really that much enjoyable.

Hot RDA Abyss would be able to negate 1 board breaker. Full Armor Master would also survive, and Sharnga and Chinook should still be active with FAM on the field. So, no prob.

That sounds terrifying. In that case, keeping either Full Armor Master or Light+Dark Chaos Angel may still give you a chance to survive and win, if they can't break through it.

For Master Duel, I think the Full Synchro version, with Arc Rebellion, is the best option, because it bricks less often and has a chance going second. All versions are equally fun to play, though, IMO.

Yes. In Game Settings > Duel > Activation Order Settings, set the option to On. This will allow you to select the activation order and do chain-blocks (when possible).

@@princeKazma NP and I've watched his videos and appreciate what you guys do for the blackwing community! The draw phase trigger is really what makes this deck stand out because a lot of negates and interruptions are in the main phase, so gotta lock them out before they get a chance. Do you use synchro world in your build like hotshot or no?

I don't, but I'm still exploring the new support. Will let you know if I find a good combo that uses it, but for now I'm satisfied with just the extra deck changes. We shall see later on!

It's a hard decision among Trinity, Verte, 2nd Cross Crusader, and Dangerous, in the extra deck. I feel like the last 3 are required to make some not-so-good hands to work, or for the grind game. Wake Up and Neos Wingman, boosted with Honest Neos, can pretty much win against the same board setups as Trinity, thanks to the multiple attacks or burn damage, respectively; however, they require Miracle Fusion, unlike Trinity... So, I do not want to dish Trinity because of this reason, but I need to test without him to know how much I would miss not having him. I may change my mind.

@@princeKazma yeah this is the trickiest hero has ever been to build. for example, Verte is our only avenue of play under droll which feels like a must in this meta. Am considering dropping dread decimator. in this "pick your poison" situation we find ourselves in, I think I'll miss him the least compared to the rest.
