Very well made tutorial series ❤! Keep it up bud 👏 Love the presentation style and side info included
I use touchdesigner on my M2 Macbook Pro, can I still do this?
Awesome tutorial man, thanks! Looking forward to working through more of these. Little tip for anyone who wants to preserve the alpha background and overlay the output on something else; You can do this with a matte TOP, simply connect the level4 TOP to the 1st input, a constant TOP with alpha set to 0 to the 2nd input and the lumablur1 TOP to the 3rd input (you could also use the null1 or null 2 for the 3rd input). Just make sure the Matte Channel on your matte TOP is set to alpha :)
man! this is very practical tip i ll with use 4sure in may next networks (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧
@@OkamirufuV Sweet :) happy to help
Nice video thx! Is its version updated? I saw the level tab in a later tutorial but not in this one
Hey bro, there's an update I haven't had time to publish yet. I simply added a level to the pseudo liquids. You can update it in two ways: A. Create a level by connecting it to the output of the pseudo liquids. B. Create the pseudo liquids from scratch by following the tutorial and then add the level using the steps I showed in the tutorial. Hope this helps!!!
@@OkamirufuV ok great thx a lot man
Awesome video, subscribed! Just getting into TouchDesigner and these types of videos are super helpful to get a feel for how to set up mappings/routings!
Hey man, this is awesome! I'm so glad to hear that my videos are helping a lot. Hope to see you more active on the channel!
Hey ! Great tuto thank you so much ! just one little mistake : The second output of the render is the color_output, not the depth, depth is the third output.
Thanks for pointing that out. I'll add a note in the description about the error. It's good you mentioned it so others can read it too.
Very cool!!!
Love the breakdown!
Thanks! It took quite a bit of effort to edit it, but it was totally worth it.
Thank you
Between the custom component tutorial and now this one, I'm loving how much I've been able to customize in TouchDesigner. Thanks again!
Thanks, bro im really happy to know you're learning. Even better tutorials and components are on the way!
You are the best!
hey! thanks let me know if you made the tut
Ciao. Always precise and punctual as a Swiss watch: here's your new tutorial. Thank you.
Ciao! thanks for the nice comment what do you think about this tut where I manage to explain little concepts as the network grows?
@@OkamirufuV it’s really good - i appreciate the little details and tips you include, you explain them very clearly and it helps to understand what is actually happening. thank you as always!!
@@OkamirufuV I believe that this is the right way. Because as a perfect noob as I am, it is very interesting to take a break to understand what that particular node (operator) does and, above all, why it is used at that precise point of the TD Network. Or when you make historical references (as in the case of the "feedback" tutorial). Yes, I find your tutorials very complete.
Just what I needed!
justo on time! ٩(◕‿◕。)۶
Hell yeah! Im stoked for this one 🔥🔥
now the tut is live man!!! enjoy it ヽ(°〇°)ノ
i do not see the patreon link, did it finish?
Oh sorry the quota is full
@@OkamirufuV ok, well is the tutorial still very easy without this file?

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 fucking sickkk bro
hahaha thanks! i just drop the tutorial
hey bro! I'm happy to see the quality of ur tutorials getting better & better. I especially like those little artist tips u inserted between the chapters. Nice work
thanks marcell you've been here since day one! yes this little retro momnets was very fun to make
amazing videos, thank you! one note though - the background music is quite repetitive, it would be easier to focus on the amazing tutorial with no music or something more ambient :)
got it, man. now that I think about it i should go with something more ambient so the music doesn't distract. Thanks for the tip.
Man, keep going! You’re doing such great TD tutorials! Thanks!
Thanks, man. I hope the TD community keeps growing. It's got so much potential for creating all sorts of visual worlds
as an audio engineer, I got super pumped to try and experiment with this until I saw the price! pass! do not recommend channel or Touchdesigner content no more!
there is a free version that Includes everything, the only limitation is the output resolution
Broke boy 😂
Pretty cool! Thank you
Thank you too!
dude, this tutorial is awesome. today is my first day working in TouchDesigner and you blew my mind wide open (this is my first tutorial, ever). Thank you for keeping everything straight forward, and interesting. I have watched dozens of Blender "tutorials" that literally throw a brick wall that prevents me from achieving anything substantial, so it's really refreshing to find a video/instructor that teaches me step by step rather than assuming I already know how to do everything. this is going to make a huge splash for my live sets and music videos! :D
Omg Delta, I think this is the most motivating comment I have received. it make me happy knowing that you are genuinely achieving your goaals and learning Touchdesigner, my goal is to quit my job to dedicate make this my full time job for bring you better tutorials, i hope I can do it soon because this community has helped me grow tremendously!
@@OkamirufuV When you're ready, make the jump. The universe will always catch you. 💫 Looking forward to more of your videos - happy to support you!
one minute in your channel and its epic, quality, comment, wow! congrats and cheers from TJ, Mex

Very well poised and comprehensive breakdown of the concepts, from the transcription to the assets and illustrations used to describe the program. Thanks, looking forward to more of your series.
Thanks ! i hope to see you frequently on the chanel. where are you from?
@@OkamirufuVMost definitely! I’m from Kenya 🇰🇪
@@sayankah nice!, im very curios about what are you doing there in terms of new media art or technology
This is gr8, a friend told me about touch designer, that I hadn’t heard of …this is a great overview. I could definitely get into this as the modular interface appears to keep things simple enough to later explore more complex ideas. Cheers
It's exactly like you mentioned, once you start exploring more about TD, you'll realize it has huge potential to expand into artistic areas, multimedia, the music scene, museums, experiences, etc. It's massive!
Bro made music Houdini, sick
hi! what you mean ?
Side FXs Houdini is a node based VFX software, used more and more within the film and games industry. It has realtime output but its primarily suited for complex model generation or simulations. There's a lot of interesting generative visuals you can make with it, so interesting to see someone use similar software concepts instead for music visualisation @@OkamirufuV
Okamirifu, I hope you take a moment to read this, and I apologize for the length of the message: I've loved TouchDesigner for many years, but it was only two years ago that I started making real videos. I took personalized classes, watched almost all the RUclips videos, and obviously visited the official Touch forums. What I always noticed in the videos is that the creators leave questions unanswered, or if someone gets stuck, they don't help them move forward. Sometimes, in extreme cases, you have to pay for Patreon to get the components to create the tutorial videos (you know who I'm referring to, she has a woman's voice and is on RUclips). What you're doing is great and in such a short time, my friend. Please, I hope you can continue and be present in the comment section. I understand what it's like to live from art and what it entails, but sometimes not everyone can pay for Patreon and support, for example, due to being from emerging economies or being in a bad situation and surviving day by day. Please continue with the videos; if it's too much, do fewer and space them out more, but please continue. Straight to the point, understandable, with good analogies, knowing what you're saying. This is magic. This is pure magic, Okamirifu. An idea that might help you monetize: Upload these videos to Web3 networks like Farcaster/Warpcast/Zora, and invite people to buy the "authorship" of the videos as a sign of support. The important thing is to achieve multiple income streams, not just rely on Patreon, as many people would like to support you and might use other methods. If you need help with this, I can guide you with pleasure and for free, of course, all for the cause. Sorry if this was too long, keep up the great work!!
awesome! keep them coming!
thanks!!! 4sure
hi! really nice tutorial, on which parameter do u think I have to put my audio to make it audioreactive? thank you :)
noiseeeee! its almost the best option, let me know how it works
nice share, may I askIs there any place where I can download a beginner's template?
Hi you can find a lot of stuff on my patreon account
hey man, really nice visual! i feel like having some sort of quick explanation for the parameters and actually saying the changes out loud (ex: change speed to 0.38) would go a long way in avoiding a lot of back and forth and pausing on your viewer's end. just my thoughts. i really like your tutorials though, very high quality and your visual style is really cool! keep at it!
Hey man, thanks a lot for your comment. I’ll definitely keep your suggestions in mind, and I think it’s possible to make it happen.
crazy bro keep going
Thanks 🔥
bro, this is mind blowing shit, so glad to start see and learn this lessons bless u
thaaaaanks!! did you get the tutorial done?
