A small documentary on the iconography of slavery in Mauritius since colonization to nowadays directed and produced by the Nelson Mandela Centre for African Culture.

The film focuses on the importance of artists perception and creation regarding history and the lack of representation of slavery from a modern perspective including resistance and resilience.
