And this is why I don't really like her to this day. A lot of folks either willingly choose to overlook how shady she was toward Letoya and Latavia in interviews, or they're too young to remember. Shoot, she even used to undercut Kelly every time she got a little shine. Sure, she was young at the time of this interview, but a 19/20 year old is no baby. You would think after years of publicly lying on and shading her former group mates in interviews and songs, she would've publicly retracted her false statements about them and apologized. They may have reconciled privately, but I feel like her acknowledgement of and apology for any wrongdoing on her part should've been as loud and as public as the disrespect and shade she used to throw at Letoya and Latavia. But that would've been too much like right. People seem to have forgotten that there was a brief period after the OG DC4 breakup drama when folks weren't really effing with Beyoncé like that at all. She was getting ate tf up in media (specifically blogs, chatrooms and message boards), even SNL jokingly shaded her in a skit that DC3 was in. Oh, and let's not forget the classic MadTV parody featuring Debra Wilson as Beyoncé. But Matthew must've worked his magic and hired the best PR team money could buy cuz people have completely bought into Beyoncé's act of being such a kind, selfless, and humble person. 🙄😒
