In no way an expert on this but what i do know is, just like you said, relief on the neck but also, if the string height is at a reasonable height where you are happy, then the next step is filing down the high frets. Plenty of good videos on this subject if you require extra information and if that doesnt stop the buzzing it may be an issue with the nut slot not being filed down correctly if it just happens on one or two strings but the rest are fine.

Thanks for your honesty...it's hardly ever heard.. Was able to keep from tiring up my pedal trying to fix a problem that just didn't exist. I had moved mine down all the way to hit the sensor. I never realized the head tension problem fixed mine now Thank you again

Some might have the impression that these guitars are tougher than they actually are. They do stay in tune fairly well, but they can absolutely crack about as easily as any other acoustic. Im not sure how it happened, but mine cracked in the area below the bridge, right where the front of the guitar and the bottom meet. I was able to repair it, but only time will tell how it holds up.

I just got mine and I knew a cab sim impulse response (IR) will give it more acoustic dimensions and it actually worked pretty well. I used flamma cabsim pedal with Taylor IR I bought 3 years ago. For recording i bypass all the onboard effects except the compressor then reverb plugis on DAW, chorus and other modulation effects on DAW as well if needed . Reason being is that the IR should be the pre effects in the signal chain.

It is very similar to a greeny too... and a slash ... and a million other lest pauls. I'm always amazed at why people want the signatures when they are nearly identical to the base models. I guess it is for the name and resale value... but that is kind of circular reasoning.

I want that semi hard case. I just bought the electric/acoustic version and got it yesterday, but now they come with a regular soft case. But that is the ONLY complaint i have. What a wonderful little travel guitar.

Thanks for the follow-up review. I just picked up the electric version (SP1) and it's pretty nice. I did change out the saddle for a compensated bridge saddle and it helped with the intonation on the higher frets. I've also polished the frets to smooth out bending. Other than that, it's a great guitar. Like someone else said, it now ships with a padded gig bag. The bag is stiff, which is similar to the ones provided with the new Martins and Taylors, but the padding isn't as thick. I do like the larger front pocket to store accessories. It can also hold smaller songbooks but you may not be able to zip it closed.

It no longer ships with that case it now ships with a half way decent bag - but it’s not a case and not anywhere near as nice…

I wish they made one at the regular les paul size and scale. I'm a bass player primarily but always like to have a guitar around, and this would be a cool one, but even at standard scales, guitars feel too small. I love carbon fiber instruments though.

I'm actually interested in it. With my disability; "big" (normal) guitars are more complicated for me to handle (i'm short & all) and I have a steinberger but it's kinda heavy. It is ok because I can handle it, but if I can have something actually lighter than that too that would be something great. I'm actually considering it
