Loved this video, THANK YOU ! I will be an exchange students from Africa and here we do not pick our courses so this is very helpful
Would you recommend doing 19 cr. to someone who works 20 hrs a week? 🤔
Did the company you scribed for make you commit to a year? I'm looking into it and they want a 1 year full time commitment. Seems unreasonable with school as well. Curious if you were penalized in anyway for quitting.
2 years later what’s good
Or... You can invented a cybernetic implant placed in the brain that is like a computer for your brain. You look at text once and remember it instantly.
I remember being in college but the line for office hours for Chemistry was so long it would end before I could even get in. The professor was sarcastic and would say “did you read the book” if we said yes he’d say “read it AGAIN”. The class was also CURVED DOWN. They did not curve up.
Hi, where are you now Brenna? Are you okay?
Best i did was 23 credits 4.0
It is such a tough job even for a virtual scribe and pay is as low as peanuts.
Thank u for the video! I'm taking 24 credits this semester and I'm SO SCARED. I'm in law school :((
You deserve more subscribers. Hopefully the RUclips algorithm helps you out soon!!
Man, I don’t know how surgeons do 36 hour shifts
The fat paycheck that hits them twice a month… and coffee
What program are you in ? Put your program in the title please
I'm taking 23 hours rn and I figured out all this info just by throwing myself in and doing it. I only recommend it for ppl who are 100% committed and focused to their studies. It's only 3 months yall. If you want to do it you can you just need work ethic and rest. It's possible. I'm going to get all As
How did it end up going?😁
How did it go??
You're spot on. I'm 50 and at a point I needed to change my career so I went back to school. Time management was/is a huge factor. My wife and I have 5 children (one will be graduating college when I do :) But, I will be taking 18 credits this next semester just for the simple fact, my wife landed a job that financially can support the entire family and I will be able to quit my current job and focus on nothing but school. No hanging with friends or going to bars. Any free time will be spent taking my littlest to the park. :) Thank you. Inspirational.
have to take 18 credits spring 2022 to graduate after spring 2022 haha, I will be back to this video around the beginning of that semester, i'm so scaredddddd
I applied and they threw the quiz and exam to me. I haven’t even been accepted into the position yet. There is no training of understanding what I’m quizzing for either.

Hi so so want to be a medical scribe but I don’t wanna wear the ugly polo lol. How did you get to wear the scrubs??
What app did you use to stay organized ? (schedule)
Omg you just said everything I was thinking down to the remarks I heard. Thank God I watched this. I feel so much better, I thought it was just me ❤️
Thank you for all the info. And girl you already look like a doctor 👩⚕️
im a senior in hs and planning on taking 24 credit hours freshman yr for computer engineering is that doable? I also been in 7 aps while in hs
I’ve literally been searching for research opportunities for the past year and no luck thanks to Covid so THANK YOU FOR THIS - it really reassured me 🥺💖
Hey, girly! I just recently landed a full-time job, which I felt would help me not only earn some $$$ for applications and sustaining myself...but also get more experience in medicine. I was so happy to come across your video since I have seen multiple people say you can't study for the MCAT while working full-time. Thank you for showing us that it's possible, and I hope the application cycle is treating you well. Best of luck! <3
I am planning on taking 20 credit hours in the fall. It is all arts classes as I am a graphic design major.
What is scribing?
I’m at 20 as an electrical student, it’s terrible 😞 but I have saturdays off as long as I work from 8 am - 8 pm on Sunday to friday
How do you get up at 5:30 am 😭
You don't. 😂
Contagious smile 😉
Currently taking 21. 😭😭😭😭😭😭 I just want to cry rn. Pray for me y’all. ❤️
@@donaninan4773 hey Dona! I passed! I got A’s & B’a and 1 C, in my Finance Class. I’m just glad I passed. It was a bit hard, but overall it was good. I took 21 hours short term for 2-3 months since I had one class that was only during the break. Then, I had 18 hours, while working. Overall, it was pretty good. Wish I graduated with a higher Gpa, but it’s fine. It was good! Hope this helps. 💕
@@charlineorozco you go girl ✨👏
HOLY MOLY-
The videos are very helpful, Thankyou. You are an inspiration for sure.
Does taking more credits mean you will finish quicker?
Yes. I’m taking 18 credits starting Monday.
Or double major
Hey! I’m a pre med student that is also considering doing something in the engineering field and was wondering if you could speak on your experience doing engineering classes along with pre med classes and also what helped you decide between the two ?
🙏🙏
New subscriber. You really made me feel less stressed, this is my first semester at uni and I feel a little bit lost. My grades are all A's until now but I don't know I have this feeling like lack of guidance and especially since everything is online. And because I had a high grades in EMSAT (it's a national system of standardized computer-based tests here in my country you take it after high school, they immediately transferred me to major courses. Again thank you so much you're the best. I'm not a med student though haha I'm study cyber security.
please never stop doing videos! Your channel is so helpful <3
Thank you so much for this video! I am taking 14 easy class credits this semester. And then next semester 18 including A&P 1 😭 so nervous, but I am motivated! I have no other choice so I can raise my cumulative and meet my deadline goals to the the diagnostic medical sonography. Thank you!
Love from india ❤️
Ayy Purdue let's goo. I'm a freshman in Data Science and am in the Physics Data Mine. BoilerUp!
Seek Christ Jesus YHVH God ..
Amen.
Love you and your channel
Finally an adult I can relate to. :) thank you for sharing!
I am planning on taking 19 credits, working on the weekend, and extracurriculars EEK! Such a great and helpful video! Thank you so much!
So glad you found this helpful!! Good luck with your semester--you can do this!!!
Omg, I needed this video! I've been so stressed out and worried about being able to find a research position but its good to know that its possible to gain acceptance without it.
For sure! Research was not a focus for me, and I think that demonstrating passion for medicine in other ways is entirely possible. Mine came through scribing and volunteering, others may do more shadowing. It's all up to you and what sort of experiences YOU want to achieve that will help you learn and show medical schools that you know what you're getting into.
@@brennajeanfuturedoctorvlog2432 thank you for this I’m not able to find any opportunities that will grant me research
Thank you for this! I’ll be taking 19 units while also working on the weekends 😅🥺
Oh my gosh-good luck!! You can do this!
How it went?
How did it go?
@@alejandrapacheco75 it well pretty good actually! I got all A’s! It’s only because I managed my time wisely.
@@bruhmomento_2197 hi! It went better than expected. I got all A’s. It’s all about time management.
At least you made a thumbnail 😂 med school doesn’t leave us with much time for anything.
Samuel Smith Med Haha yes, just glad the RUclips algorithm found a good pic 🤣
Pretty nice to start for mes school material. Would be cool to see you talk about it, may also help you on the studying part.
UNIBE UNIVER For sure! I definitely need to diversify how I approach studying too. I’ll be trying a few different approaches in the coming weeks that I’ll try to document!
And I also meant to emphasize on what you’re learning, might be good to tell what seems interesting to you; maybe a little bit more in depth with that since many people have different POV, yours is interesting as a past Scribe.
UNIBE UNIVER For sure! Not sure if I did a lot of that this past week, but I’ll definitely try to do that in future vlogs!
a lot of information. thats good you dont feel overwhelmed yet. good first vlog support you
Ant Lino Yes, although the overwhelm changed pretty quickly as you’ll see in my next vlog 😅 Thanks for your support!
How much medical terminology experience does the job have. I have a bachelors in exercise science. And have taken medical terminology 1. And about to start medical terminology 2. I’m not sure how confident I am in my medical background
You would already be better off than me! Depending on the company, most will put you through a series of online (paid) training on common medical terminology and how to write patient notes. I didn't have any medical terminology knowledge before getting hired!
