I am happiest when I workout consistently and stay active. I mostly do at home dumbbell workouts and pilates. I'm in my mid-30s (so definitely not old lol) but I want to age as gracefully as possible and keeping mobility is a big motivator for me.

Nothing wrong with knowing ur favourite curriculum now but it may grow!!! We haven’t used blossom and root tho!!! I prefer Christian curriculum!!! We love Charlotte Mason and nature curriculum and we love gentle and classical nature and now doing their 1st science curriculum and loving it!!! We only do optional activities if we want to!!! I prefer to buy books due to our travel schedules but we don’t use all books in a curriculum due to our fast paced life!!!

Have you started All About Reading yet? I am curious how it is going. Considering trying it t for my first grader as I am not happy with what we are currently using. What size binder did you store the activity pages in?

We surf as a family including my younger kids but they are only allowed to surf small waves on a longboard!!! I find fitness fun and so do my kids!!! PE when I younger wasn’t that good and I want better for my kids!!! We live in the tropics and I think because we work out in water the heat doesn’t bother us!!!

I am with you! I love working out! I just don't feel like myself if I can't get a workout in, especially yoga. That is my mental calming and energy rejuvenation that my body and mind craves. Hi friend! Wow, this was so inspiring! It is so true to carve out time through the day to put yourself first and your health. I was a yoga instructor for about seven years and once I had my second child, I stopped teaching and also didn’t work out as much. It has been very difficult for me to get back into working out. I will go through phases of working out for months and then fall off and so on. I’m totally motivated to get my workout routine back in order. I actually have the atomic habits on audible also. Congratulations on your half marathon and that is so amazing how much you do! TFS and have a beautiful week friend🤍🤍

We’ve just moved as my friend and wanted to spend more time with us and we have a homeschool room but we still have 6 to 8 months of travel every year!!! My teenage daughter has a bookshelf of Japanese books!!! I just bought new maps that we need to put up!!! We now have a homeschool cart and we love it!!!

Great video! Your space is wonderful! We recently moved this past year, before our loft we also homeschooled at the dining room table, and had our supplies hidden around the house and in closets. On mine the ignited for the stove section seems like it’s sitting right on the flame and glows bright orange making the flame a lot bigger. Looks like yours does too - any long term effects? Also have heard of the grill side melting?

Logic of English has a stand alone handwriting curriculum if you don’t want the whole thing. Called rhythm of handwriting. Even a digital version if you just want to print handwriting pages.

We love the freedom that homeschooling gives us!!! Me and my husband travel with work so we enjoy taking our kids along for the ride!!! I have a 8th grader who speaks 3 languages as we speak 2 languages at home and she speaks Japanese as well and learning 2 more languages!!! I asked her to learn Hebrew and she asked my stepdad to teach her Latin!!! We love being outside!!! I’m glad we have time for free play even tho some of mine are too old to play yet I see them playing on their devices and learning!!! My schedule is busy but I love it!!!

I know I've said this before, but I love that your son is learning 3 languages!

It is such a great idea to start now for your portfolio! Taking a bit of time weekly or even monthly makes the end of year assessments so much easier to deal with! It's great that you can get a fun back to school bag as well!

I’ve started next year’s portfolio as it’s going to be our 1st year!!! I remember at college I was told not to study at the end of the year but to study through out the year!!! I prefer PDF curriculum!!! We are living with another homeschool family so if we don’t use something they might!!!
