I, too, hated to see the table painted, and it looked like that chuck had been beat pretty badly. I guess it works, but I would think it needed replaced. Good job, however, making the drill press usable again.

Dear friend, I really appreciate the restoration. Unfortunately you made a fundamental mistake of painting the well machined surfaces like circular bed, pillar where drill stock move etc. Nobody with right sense never touch those highly surface grinded parts except polishing it after removing the rust. Painting will not serve any purpose. One more suggestion is never use metal rod on cast iron body which will easily break or crack. Instead use wooden round rods. Otherwise it is a good work. You are aware of corse that when you fitted the the rear suspension using new nuts they were the wrong thread and by forcing them on you have destroyed the threads on the frame studs, you will never get them off and on again!!! Poor workmanship!!

It's always the same with these supposed restorations. Different rusted parts, the rusting was helped along with salt water, the electrics still look good and the biggest joke is the plant with the roots in the cradle closed at the bottom.

All that work and he didn't repack the bearings? That's a forehead slapper right there.

Well, it's disassembly, cleaning, oiling and painting at minimal cost. Basically, except for the chipped grooves of the pulley, which will damage the V-belts and the cracked engine cover, they should have been boiled and repaired and it's OK. Those bearings have low revolutions and are not heavily loaded, so they last. The hum of bearings on a band saw is pointless.

No hiciste muchas cosas bien, ni siquiera pusiste sellos done entro agua, ni cambiaste los cables resecos de la parte interna del motor, etc! podrias hacerlo mucho mejor!

Изумительно, любят ребята из юго-восточной Азии снимать видео о "керосиновом" ремонте. Трогательно вмазывает солидол в подшипник, не озабочиваясь добовить смазку через маслёнки, которых уйма. Не говоря уже о звмене пдшипников.

очень плохой ремонт!!! шкиф со сколами будет рвать ремни! подшипники нужно менять они будут шуметь! крыльчатку двигателя сломанную поставили!!!🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
