These videos are a closer look at planners so people know what to expect. I let people know what works for me and my preferences to help them determine if this is something that may or may not work for them. Not everyone likes undated pages. Some people hate it because if they mess it up, it throws everything off. I’d rather let someone know before they spend the money and realize it’s not going to work for them. I spend a lot of time looking over each planner, sometimes using them, and reading all the info available so I can give people a complete picture of what they are purchasing. I actually still have this one and pull it out to use now and then. I even did the Kickstarter for their weekly planner because I like the company so much.

I have ADHD and that planner did not work at all for me because things like rewards don't work at all for me. I try to show the entire planner and give my thoughts so others can better decide if they think it would work (or not) for them. Are you looking for a goal system? MakseLife and Power Sheets are more goal systems than planners. I tend to take what works from those systems and leave the rest. If you are looking for a planner, I like vertical planners (like Erin Condren or Happy Planner). Lately, I've been using the Happy Planner Dashboard layout and am really enjoying it. I plan to record a plan with me video in the Dashboard to go up next week if you want to see it more in action. I also like the Erin Condren Daily Duo but I know daily can be a bit much for people, depending on what they have going on.

Overwhelm can be part of ADHD. I definitely struggle with it at times. There is a lot of activities in the book but if you know you get overwhelmed, you could focus on that section at first. The totality of the book can be overwhelming. I think the key is to know you don't have to do everything in the book and find the areas and activities that fit your needs.

I get some people only use planners for work so I get it for that. But I'd rather have the extra space. Even my work planners always have separate weekend days and I'll use that space for extra notes and reminders.

I haven't used it in awhile because I use a different daily planner but I really like it. I still have it and use it from time to time when I have a lot going on or a specific project/goal I'm working on. All of our brains are different and my goal is to provide a thorough walk through of each planner so you can make a decision! Because planners ain't cheap and often you don't get enough photos on websites to really tell if it may work for you.

That's always going to be the thing with boxes like this. Some people won't think it's worth it and others will. Personally, I enjoyed this box.

I'm glad you have found something that works for you! It's looks like a great planner. I usually buy the undated for reviews since I give most away and it's hard to know when that will happen.

The sport stickers are so helpful, especially if you have go to (or watch) a lot of games. If I had kids in sports, I'd use these for tracking that too!

@@Runsonespresso Monk Manual is pretty good. They have some good training videos on how to use them. They are not a Christian based planner, but a spiritual God based planner. Which was odd because I am a new agey person but I like the layout a lot. The Cleverfox budget is good but now I'm using the Habitnest one which is awesome and tons of instructions for me, which I like up front

I haven't heard of Habitnest either. I'm on the hunt for the elusive perfect budget planner so I'll check that one out too!

@@Runsonespresso Yes, I just started to use it and I love it, it plays to my ADHD and my Virgo overly detail active mind. LOL But seriously. I've been going through the setup steps and love it. Their new planner is nice but I also love their Morning and Evening routine books. They have a Digital Detox one too and a House organization one. Plus the have an app now that has everything in it but the budget stuff. They said, to me when I reached out to them, "you really need a paper planner for that." I like their philosophy too. 😀

Oh, a day off grid is intriguing. I don't know if I could do it other than when we go camping in middle of nowhere! I've become way to dependent on tech 😂 Which means I should do that. I love a book or new clothing item as the reward. Those are great ideas!

@@Runsonespresso we rarely go off grid. Since my wife has ADHD the phone is glued to her hand like mine is. LoL

BTW I love using those monthlies when my month is SUPER laid back, no appointments, going on vacay most of the month. I don't need weeklies on months like that! Then you can use a planner much longer too!

I really like the planner, just not sure how I can incorporate it into all my other planners 😆 That is a great idea for the monthlies! I have _mostly_ stopped using monthly views & only use weeks/days.

They are usually really good at matching the hardware to whatever foil color they use! I personally prefer silver and hope they do more designs in it!

I understand the idea behind it. My personal preference is still the month followed by the weeks. I'm sure there are people that prefer all the months together. My brain just doesn't work that way 🤷🏻‍♀️

I still haven't figured out what I'm going to use the note page and weekly overview for. Leaning towards weekly actions. I almost didn't notice the one didn't have no lines! I'm so used to them having them. I've been using a sharpie on the darker ones but they usually end up being either the last ones I used or more to draw attention to something.

Oh, nice! I really do like it and think it will be a good weekly planner! Especially now that I have a lot more time-based things for work.

I think I'll probably stick with my separate weekly. I like being able to see both at the same time and not flip back and forth. And I cannot tell you how happy I was that the min calendar is gone! 😂😂

I sometimes add different things in my bullet journal if needed. I think I might go back to using it for budgeting next year too. Do you follow Cindy (llama letters) on IG? She posts her challenge each month & it's so helpful!

I feel you on the undated. I always get anxiety I'm going to mess up dating it! It doesn't have to be pretty. For me, making it pretty is a creative outlet and I set aside time every Sunday to play. Sometimes it doesn't turn out but I get to turn the page and start fresh the next week. 🖤
