Normal stress is not normal. Challenge and stress are different. I am pretty sure the person doing that metal analysis of complex trauma has no experiential of the depth, layers and complexity of healing.

This is extremely helpful. However, I am at the stage where I want to give up and move to my parent's country of origin despite not even having basic proficiency in that language. I think I may be an exception to the rule that "recovery is possible" due to my acute mental health difficulties stemming not just from being a coloured person in a white country but growing up in a home with domestic violence and abuse. I am only just starting to think of a runway to make this move to the country of my race possible. My only option that I can think of so far is being a TEFL teacher.

Tragic. I’m doing research for trauma informed foster care for prevention of SUD for class. And the I’ve found the odds are stacked against them. I too was in the system. So much needs to change. Great video!

Great video but my daycare is still open and I keep my son to his schedule. The only difference is that he has school work to do at home but he likes it. I am blessed that his schedule hasn't changed much. We dont watch news in common room and we also do projects to stay busy. thanks for the information
