I'm surprised to see this movie is still existing! When i was 4 or younger, before starting school, we still lived in the basement and my dad had recently brought home a TV, and my mom and me watched this. It was the first movie I watched. Fantastic! I'm going to watch it for the second time now.

Better than anything Hollywood has put out since Alien and Star Wars. Love the classics even if the science doesn't work.

Cheesy but the characters are honest.

I haven't seen this movie since the late 50s. There was another movie like it but had a giant Gorilla like creature in it that was very very shaggy with light colored fur/hair. I thought it was this movie.

When do we stop climbing? Are we there yet? Briggs is so 'out of shape' that he gets almost to the top before he gives out. See what happens when you take your parachute off! It took half the movie to get to the top and 2 minutes to get down.
