Hey brother, thank you for watching and for the support! :) It's a shame you didn't like LMU but thankfully we have plenty of sims to chose from :) Are you more into single player racing or online?

I do enjoy both I play a lot of iracing and assetto corsa for single player. I tend to do more racing online though who knows maybe in the future I will give LMU another shot but at the moment it just isn’t for me the whole early access thing but selling what I believe should be part of the base game as “DLC” just doesn’t sit right with me personally. I don’t mean to bash on LMU too much I can see it has its strengths and reasons to play it just isn’t for me.

Which wheelbase and ffb settings are you using? To me LMU feels better than ACC or iRacing. I get more fine details out of it. And I am on Simucube 2 Pro same as the OP is :P

Hey mate, thank you, appreciate it! Yes, the button box is a custom built 3d printed one and the display is independent. I have just mounted together to look like one :)

thank you for the answer… It’s ok… great work... I was looking for an STL file to print a "central tunnel" that contains the space and to position a 9.7-inch iPad and a 7-inch HDMI display while in the lower part there will be buttons for the button box... do you know something similar?

@@RD222eSports Hmm I don't know and from the ready projects I didn't like anything when I was researching so decided to go for a modified one. A friend of mine did it for me. I can ask him if he still have the files but that is just for the button box with the stream deck inside

Hey, glad you are enjoying it. Yes the cold tyres are no joke in LMU and the first 2 laps are pretty tough as it is irl. For as long as it's the same for everyone and simulates reality, I am fine with the challenge...we just have to practice more and improve :)

Glad it was useful! :) With regards to the FFB, it's a safety reason more than anything. I have tested the "100% FFB strength in the wheel software and reduce in game" theory but frankly I feel absolutely no difference. Maybe this was valid for the belt driven wheels years ago, I don't know... but based on my testing I feel no difference so I chose to never run 100% in True drive because anything can happen and having the motor cranked up to maximum is asking for trouble. Hope it makes sense :)

Around 80 average I would say. Sometimes goes down to 70 sometimes to 90.

@ What would you say about the competitiveness of the hypercars? All capable of top laps?

@@sfZ4M I think they are with the exception of the Isotta Fraschini. I haven't raced all of them but based on the leaderboards for the different tracks, different cars seem faster on different tracks. From personal experience, the races i did I tested the Ferrari, Porsche, Lambo, BMW, Toyota and on some tracks I was faster with with some of the cars but this changes on the next track and overall seems fine to me :)

@@SimracingGG No dude. I run everything on Ultra as well. Have a good PC. But my rear view camera looks like Pacman resolution. Can't find a solution.

@@Farogiven THmm, that's strange. Even with my older GPU (3080) the mirrors looked fine and I was not running things on ultra. Here is a video with my old settings (have to do an updated one in the next weeks), maybe will help: ruclips.net/video/TfXdOmpXCVA/видео.html Another thing I can think of is to delete the shaders and let the game rebuild them. Worth trying.. To clear shaders open: steamapps\common\Le Mans Ultimate\UserData\Log\Shaders, and delete the dynamic.cache file. Next launch the game will be slow to load the tracks and cars as it is rebuilding the shaders.

OK these are good and helpful tips, thank you! Will know for the next time but yes we shouldn't need workarounds to be able to save replay at will. Reiza should fix this :)

I haven't driven F1 around Spa for a while now... maybe I should :) The Hypercars are fast but the lap times are incomparable to F1

There were a couple of things I wanted to see improved from the previous ones and seems like they have improved on those! :) Overall the new ones feel like a step up in pretty much all areas, but I need to drive with them a little longer for a more complete opinion

i prefer iracing as a platform, but the hypercars are way petter in le mans, better tyre model and hybrid system, iracing uses a simple hybrid system and a tire model that is a wopping 9 seconds faster than irl

This is still the one from Alex. I record with OBS and then overlay over my footage in post production
